As a fan of Power Rangers from the very first series…I love how these comic books explore and expand on so much mythos of Power Rangers. The world-building and storytelling has been phenomenal.
I have fallen off of comic book reading as of late but the Power Ranger comics from boom studios have been consistently excellent at keeping me engaged in the story. love it
I think this comic has been out awhile, so I don't know the resolution. However, out of pure 100% speculation, I'm going to say it will work now that Zedd has morphing grid energy to properly connect with it.

I never imagined I'd be more hyped for anything Power Rangers than I was when it first came to North America in like 93 or something. Now that Rob has been covering these comics on occasion I am in fact more hyped than I was when I was 5 years old.

Power rangers is so criminally underrated sometimes because of how cheesy it can be. But low key characters like Carter Greyson (who is not in this comic) are some of the most badass individuals i've seen in a tv show.
Born in 1990 watched and loved the power rangers. Met Jason the red ranger at a convention y did my palms sweat when I met him. Years later I'm watching a youtuber telling me stories about power rangers and it still slaps lmaoo Tommy Green ranger all day
Oh man, I love when Rob covers comics outside of Marvel & DC. The Power Rangers was my show back in the day, and I'd love to see more, and bro, you can't leave us hanging on that ending! I expect a follow up, get on it! :P
I like the plot point of using serpenterra as more than an afterthought like the show did. And even using that as a way for the green ranger powers to come back is really cool.
Despite growing up with Mighty Morphing Power Rangers, and what feels like a dozen generations of rangers since, it never occurred to me that there would be a developed comic series for the power rangers. I see the analogous relationship between the Morphin Grid and The Force / Speed Force, but the way that the Power Rangers tap into it also gives me some He-Man vibes. And the general art style of large, clunky robots, grotesque undead-like entities, superhumans, and magic all existing in the same universe also gives me some strong He-Man vibes. Old shows / franchises were just built different. It seems like modern franchises make a concentrated effort to pick a genre and stick to their lane, else risk consumers complaining that x, y, or z feels out of place.
I remember as a kid when this show came out. Then some years later my marshal arts class had Tommy show up for a few days. He taught us his style he learned and showed us how to do stunts. Got a picture with him and a autograph. I don't know what I did woth it. I use to l9ve that show. They had a really good message in every episode too
Alpha 1 was actually very powerful and went toe to toe with the rangers. Albeit he wouldn't have stood a chance against the omega rangers without Ritas boost, he is actually very capable. Also, he was built by zordon and corrupted by his own programming, not Rita. He had the whole ultron "in order to stop war and create peace I must destroy everyone" complex.

some days I put one of Rob's vids and go 'yuck this guy is so positive and excited thats so lame'. This'll happen now and then and has for a few years. But for those few years Rob has ALWAYS been so positive and excited about everything he does, and so when I come back (which I always do) and I'm not being a grumpy loser he's always here having an absolute ball and I get all the good vibes. Not the only time he became a Ranger, there's a somewhat recent run called MMPR vs TMNT where he takes I believe Tommy's Green Ranger powers for himself. Also, I was gonna mention that the "new" team was something from a YT series, but they were called the HyperForce Rangers.

In the Go Go Power Rangers Comics Rita is more badass and has a much deeper back story. Zedd becomes more rounded in the relaunch comics as you learn more about him in Mighty Morphin
Well Zed wasn't wrong.......he definitely had a plan...... 😆 Sidenote, I think the reveal of who, "the vessel" is, is actually crazier than Zed becomming a Ranger.

These comics have been great since Boom launched the series. This is the template the Hasbro films should follow, I have. I doubt the films will be financially successful if they do.

Serpenterror is originally Lord Zedds Zord. It's known to destroy worlds. But it breaks down literally anytime anyone powers it up lol.
