These bands are great!! And recommend the Amazing bands: Kamelot, Symphony x, Tool, Gojira, Mastodon, Orphaned land, Circus maximus, Seventh wonder, Myrath, Sunburst, Serenity, Soul secret, dali's dilemma, Bad salad, Sons of seasons, Beyond the bridge and Ningen isu🤘
Thanks for the comment! Yeah, the bands you mentioned are amazing too! Symphony X, Tool, and Mastodon will show up in the next videos of the series, so stay tuned! Kamelot and Myrath are also fantastic, always bringing something new.
Great recommendations! DGM, Caligula’s Horse, and Soen are amazing, each bringing something unique to Progressive Metal. Haken will be in the next video, so stay tuned. Thanks for commenting!
Great additions! Darkwater, Redemption, and Scale the Summit have very distinct styles, but all are amazing in their own ways. Each brings a unique flavor to Progressive Metal. Thanks for commenting!
Symphony X is an amazing band and will be featured in Part 2 of the videos, so stay tuned! Their sound is truly a powerful blend of technique and melody. What’s your favorite song by the band? 🤘
Good evening my music friend, your list is really very good and I saw my besties too. Recently I made my best list, I could copy that one but this is about amazing so I skipped with pain in my heart: The Gathering, Porcupine Tree, Tool, Dream Theater and Uriah Heep. But still belonging to the best. So this is the result: 01 After Forever - My Pledge Of Alliance 02 System Of A Down - Toxicity 03 Jinjer - Pisces 04 Epica - Unleashed 05 Poverty's No Crime - Hollow Phrases 06 Mastodon - Blood And Thunder 07 Evergrey - King Of Errors 08 Wilderun - Passenger 09 Sunburst - Hollow Lies 10 Hekz - A Pound Of Flesh Play it loud my friend. I love to hear you
What an amazing list! I was impressed with the choices. Wilderun, Evergrey, and Poverty's No Crime, in particular, have a unique sound. By the way, I'm glad you like the old guys in Uriah Heep too, they're legendary!
@@BackingTrackCenter I am happy you are impressed by my list it was killing my darlings from my best list so I could let shine also 5 awesome bands who did not made it to my earlier list. The singer of After Forever, Floor Jansen, made with Evergrey - In Orbit. Really mindblowing.... Out of competition I love to bring under your attenion the best kept secret of my country only another subgenre: Pendejo! - Wratchild. Brass is a Metal.
Lista pesada, hein! Fates Warning é clássico absoluto no prog metal, e é bem legal ver nomes como Conception e Lemur Voice aí também, bandas subestimadas mas com som incrível!
Absolutely! Devin Townsend is a genius and brings a unique blend of sound and emotion in his music. He’s definitely going to shine in Part 2, so keep an eye out! What’s your favorite track by Devin?
@@BackingTrackCenter That's difficult to choose just 1 from a 30 year plus career. I will go for the song Bastard especially from around 6min 31 sec live from the Royal Albert Hall 2015. Goosebumps every time
Dream Theater is an awesome choice! They have a unique way of blending technique and emotion in their songs. What's your favorite track by them? And have you ever had the chance to see them live?
Interessante a menção do Angra, aqui no Brasil volta e meia chamada de "Metal Espadinha" Enfim, a realidade é uma banda de Prog Metal e isso é desde os primórdios.
Might want to update Queensryche with the new singer since 2015. Saw them in concert are are still pretty good and new stuff a lot better than later Tate albums.
Tool at the top, huh? I agree, they’re absolute beasts when it comes to innovation and depth in their sound! They'll be in Part 2 of the video, so stay tuned. Which album do you think best captures the essence of the band? 👊

Tool is actually closer to being grunge, but hard rock at best. Very far from metal. Cheers
