Mini Wookies.... I used them in a game last week and did unspeakable things to my unsuspecting opponent. Side note I am pretty sure Sneaky Scouting is surge to hit and not surge to crit, I don't think it would have changed the game though. I only noticed because I played that card just last week. Unless it was changed and I didn't notice.

Great video. What makes a good well rounded Republic list?
I would say 8-10 acts with a good balance of fire power to support. I like one good Jedi with 4-5 clone units corps and round out with your taster after that. Thanks!

The droids seemed to be confused by the combination of mini and big wookiees.
The Attack Protocols is really rough if you don't have face ups or override every round.
The foil card looks so cool, hope there are more of them down the line.

Attack protocols are so limiting to your placement and order control! And if damaged or ionized your are screwed as well 😳
Engagement protocols are decent as it allows you to move out from the corner for instance.
The defence protocol is also nice, but you could end up doing nothing but survive, which of course can be nice 😊

Defensive protocols on snails is good with the HV shells, but doesn't make sense with on board comms- it's competing agendas. Attack protocols on snails are amazing. This is a fact. HOWEVER- you have to pair it with LTA, bunker busters, and build the list in a way that you can always issue it an order or override the programming. This is the way.

I’d agree with Don about Attack Protocols. I used to run it a lot on Spiders. But now it’s Engagement, if I have the points, or far more likely, Defense.

very interesting seeing the mini wookies in a non-bright tree list. I think Don needs to take a break from playing other people's lists especially with droids. I think this would have been a lot different if the tanks had been given orders for the first few rounds (push & assault) to double move while handing out the order to their passengers, then they'd at least get them in range of when shooting would have been a good option. No idea what the BXs are for in this list.
my criticism of the ewoks is that the charge card and the axe are auto includes so why even make them an option. I think the trapper card is interesting but so rediculously niche... would have been cooler to do something against vehicles (like an auto wound to armor for the life of an ewok).

We do get paid to play specific lists and sometimes people use that opportunity to see if some things work or not. But it can be challenging sometimes to play a list your not sure what the goal is
