    Foreigners working in Singapore nowadays are well aware that the rental fee in SG is pretty high. While high rental fee is one thing, the situation becomes even worse when you end up renting a place under the same roof as a quirky landlord!       我估计这阿姐没结婚,不明白男人。男生拿着电话进厕所,是性纾解,哪里是什么玩游戏。打炮是男生的生理需要,她不可以阻止人家拿电话进厕所,,就好比上厕所大小号一样,是男生租房的权限范围之内。不过从这里可以肯定阿姐没有在厕所里安装摄像机啦。

      @@zchannelzack因为以前也曾在新加坡工作过,疫情后曾进来新加坡工作虽然在租房上没有不愉快的经历但工作上就真的有不愉快的事了,当时面对烦恼的时候也不知道可以找谁帮忙最后是带着反感离开新加坡,看到你愿意尽你所能去帮助别人真的很欣慰。

    我之前在新加坡,也是有遇到类似这种屋主,也是威胁我不要把deposit 还给我,过后我就和她吵和报警,最后她也是乖乖的把钱还回给我,这种人是欺善怕恶的,要比她凶,给她怕

    就很简单,在警察局,如果report,屋主诱骗抵押金,这样警察就要做事。新加坡警察和马来西亚警察都是一样,能闪就闪。

      不是警察能闪就闪,在马来西亚如果是屋主和租客因为租金押金纠纷,或是水电问题。警察是不能采取行动的 (这不是他们的职责去调查,每个人都说自己有理的话,那警察很不得空了)。你得去makahmah 申诉 或去律师楼告对方。。
      只有伤人案或其他刑事犯罪事件,警察才会干涉
      新加坡也一样的

    Dispute between tenant and landlord over deposit, rental issue or pertaining to the leasing agreement is not what the Police can assist or intervene. If tenant signed the agreement then it is legal binding between the tenant and landlord. For the record you can lodge a Police report and then approach the CMC Community Mediation Centre for assistance and escalate to Small Court Tribunal if still unable to resolve between both parties.

    如果屋主不愿意给回押金是可以去hdb举报屋主,同时也顺便查询一下有什么条规是保障租户的。
    既然是她提出要他们搬走就不可能再给房租了因为已经给了订金。
    相反如果只是住了一个月屋主是要退还押金给你们的。
    也没理由要等她找到房客才可以搬走!

    說得好 租客有付租金並不是阿姐的員工!阿姐真的搞不清楚狀況耶!不能忍受就不要出租 什麼都要照她的意思 以為世界圍著她繞嗎?而且同樣的糾紛發生的頻率來說 阿姐做為房東已經站不住腳了!謝謝杰克 從你的影片學到很多知識。

    我们马来西亚也有类似这样的案例。
    之前规则多多,housing rules...
    你的影片让我想起了我的案例,
    Rules No 1: 活动只限在房间里面
    (这是我第一次租房间以来看到的条规)我也遵守了... 但结果呢?
    其他我租过的,都没有遇到太糟糕的事。都是彼此尊重包容而已,都明白事理。
    其中一个好的案例:
    (一间condo -3rooms)
    有些屋主会选择放给agent找租户(2rooms),1room自己找租户进来,所以客厅屋主有权 偶尔回来检查屋子情况,房间就不行了。这很合理。
    何况housemate之间,我们也轮流打扫客厅,保持基本该有的卫生那些,洗衣服,晒衣服那些我们也轮流,毕竟空间有限。
    还有很多....
    过后我也试着往她角度去想, 越想越不对劲.... 另一间小房的租客最后也是一样中和我类似案例,想起期间发生的事情,现在都觉得太可笑了。
    简单说:有屋主住在同一间屋子的,尽量不要去考虑租,大致上建议是这样,听过太多案例了
    有些屋主 也真的不懂什么是housing rules ,什么是tenancy agreement.
    They like to simply create their own rules and regulations, which is totally unreasonable...
    最后还是一句:有屋主住在同一间屋子里的,还是不建议 (特别是那些aunty uncle啥的)以个人经历和身旁人的经历。
    希望我所说的话,没冒犯任何人,只希望供其他人参考,毕竟还是有好的屋主的,就那次经历告诉我,还是选择都事理的屋主,或是屋主没住在同一间屋子的就好。

    报警真的没有用的,五年前我来新工作找到一间4个人睡250,当时没什么钱,跟房东谈先给租金,押金等发工资才一起给,后来住进来发现房子都不能给人开灯,而且房东洗完澡都喜欢赤裸的走出来,更让我无法接受的是我洗完澡出来房东老婆就会站在门口看着我!后来第三天我就跟房东说住完一个月就不住了,他听后马上就要赶我走,剩下的房租也不给回我,我就报警了,警察来反而不是帮我,拿了我的证件看,对方反而不需要给他看证件,最后警察说多一事不如少一事,叫我还是搬,还说打官司需要一笔钱,所以房屋纠纷报警也没用,庆幸的是当时我只是先给租金

    Open public living room is allow to put cctv but not the hidden camera alternative in the bedroom for rent out is not allowed, it's aginst the human right law. To be honest, Singapore should organize some proper official consult department for solving conflict between owner and tenants. It's had been so many years heard about those irresponsible owner bully new foreign worker who just come to SG and don't know about what their rights.
    By the way, this auntie is really extraordinary. Hope there's no more victims.

    看了之前去律师馆的视频他们有讲到如果有多人一起投诉同样的事情的话警察会以刑事案来调查,希望之前有被骗经验的朋友可以一起站出来捍卫自己的权利。
    这个影片里面有看见这个屋主用了"恐吓",“侮辱”的字眼来照成这两位小弟的心理压力,所以很有理由相信他对这方面的事情已经做了无数次了,当然接下来他还是会以同样的方式来欺骗租客。
    主要鸳鸯是因为他知道新加坡警察对这方面的纠纷没有办法,告上法庭也不容易而且都是初来咋到的哪里会懂去哪里寻求协助加上也没有这个时间和财力来和他耗。
    大家也是为了三餐糊口而离乡背井来到异地打工,还要小心提防无良屋主和老板真的心累。

    这种老姨真的是心里变态,人家年纪轻轻出国打工已经不容易,自己也是大马过来还要这样刁难人,这样的人根本不应该开放出租房间,自己一个人住活在自己的宽最好,还要讲什么改公司的law,拿酒店的押金来讲,自己又不是开酒店人家也不是跟你打工,她也没有付人家薪水,相反人家住你的家是有付钱的不是住免费白住的.这个untie的头脑真的不是一般的有问题,可怜那两个小伙

    如果安装摄像头是为了监控入户安全的话(包括房屋的公共区域)是没问题的
    但是如果是安装在房客的房间内就侵犯了租客的隐私权,更别说是在厕所内。
    另外,房东也不可以在没有经过房客的同意之下擅自进出房客的房间,(之前的影片我有听到说阿姐不允许房客锁门)因为里面有私人物品和财产。万一房客的东西不见了,房东会承担吗?我觉得这位阿姐根本不可能认账甚至会无赖别人

    建議你們可以全部受害者一起去filed case 到警局跟小額法庭, 累積全部受害者一個group 一起去做這個complaint。一個一個去吵力量不大,而且很明顯那個阿姊已經非常習慣用這種方法扣住租客押金。讓這個單一事情變成一個事件。 可能警方也才會更認真去受理。

    Setting cctv in tenant room consider breach of privacy. It’s a crime

      But hor, she is the owner, either our own house, we wan to put the plant at where also we decide, Becoz we are the owner..
      Sometimes, u know la, hotel also know, they rent out room, sure they know the blanket will anyhow put after the next day 😂😂😂
      Hotel issue, wabiang, hotel wont control where we touch or where we 抓痒😂😂😂
      Either u bring who go hotel also they won't ask, Becoz we pay money liao 😂😂😂

      It isnt a crime if owner install cctv in his / her house. Reason be it, owner do install cctv in house to view safety reason. Unless u rent a hotel, hostel with installed cctv thats a crime.

You should further ensure that they are not installed in areas that will compromise their privacy or modesty, such as bathrooms and sleeping areas. Source from mom website

      @@iammisssee7752 cctv can’t be install in toilet and tenant bedroom . 100% breach of privacy. It’s a common sense thing. Don’t make it complicated. Like that every landlord can record and view free sex video

    大家可以在房间里,关掉所有灯光,开启手机的相机环视整个房间的所有角落,如果有针孔摄相机通常会有红光!!

    其实新加坡的警察局警察做不好可以Complain 的,下面有QR给我们Feedback的你们下次去警察局看一下有的,因为可以Complain很多东西的在新加坡,我之前Custom的Officers 遇过一个做不好讲话的态度不好给我们Complain下去,他可以被他们的Supervisor 还是Manager骂的,其实新加坡算很OK了很多东西可以Complain的,全部人Complain他就可以不用做了的!

    坚决支持Jack的做法,一定借助报纸媒体曝光这个可恶贪婪无赖的屋主,她在钻警察和政府不管理的空子,肆无忌惮地欺负租客已成习惯,挠头痒都不可以天理难容啦!

      "Unauthorized disclosure is allowed if it is in the public interest to do so"
      So is really up to court to decide if thats really public interest anot. At this case, IMO i think is really for public interest to know that this landlord behaviour.
      And also there's no confidential information been leaks/recorded through this video/recoridng.

    其实关于警察办事的那方面可以说是双重标准了,新加坡有些是所谓的“邻里纠纷”为什么警察会去管却不会以“私人纠纷”让涉事者自己去处理?

      我觉得不是双重标准啦。因该是警察没得空去处理在他们眼里是不重要的私人问题所以就打发你。我是新加坡人。我有一次在咖啡店不见了整个包包,有一次在健身房不见了手机,有一次在餐馆不见了交通卡,三次都报了警,我家人说是没希望找回来的,又是自己弄丢的警察管你才怪,不要浪费警力,可是警察的网页和警察局都有接受这类案件的哦,何况包包和交通卡的那两次我怀疑是有涉嫌到小偷而不是很纯粹的我把东西遗忘在公共场所而已,所以我不信邪去报警希望警方是会处理的。没帮我找回东西是次,电话不见那次在报案的时候,写 report 的警员根本就是心不在焉,我讲过的细节重复了又重复他还可以再问/ 打错我 check 了不对他才改,我说了超过三次电话是在 changing room 弄丢的,跟他说了我在 20 mins 之内发现电话不见马上回到 changing room 找跟问了在 locker 旁边的一个女人有没有看见电话/ 电话被谁拿走但是那位警员可以在 report 要打完的时候问我我问的那个人是男的还是女的 (因为我原本以为那个人目击有看到另一位会员拾了我的手机,还谢谢她提供了些那位会员的特征,但是我在去警察局的路上越想越有可能那位目击者是自己拿了我的手机想转移焦点,应为时间点太凑巧而且她描述的小偷根本就长得跟我一样,我那时一头长紫发不常见的,所以我把那位目击者所说的和我的怀疑都告诉了警员,在我眼里都是线索吗,而且如果那位目击者是狡猾的小偷我觉得她应该得到处罚)?!然后健身房 changing room 外和出入口一定有 cctv 的吗,他们还会有会员的进出 record 和 contact information,你去掉那时间点的 cctv 看有没有多一位长紫发的女人出入 changing room 还是观察那位目击者,不就得了吗?也许不会有实权证据是谁 pocket 了我的手机因为 changing room 不会有 cctv 在里面,不过如果没看到多一位长得像我的会员在那个时间点进出不就靠事情真相进一步吗?警方都不知道有没有做事,有我也不知道因为他们什么都没讲,我也不想诬告他们,我只是在 around 两三个月后,到我都忙到忘了放弃了,他们才寄了一封很敷衍的信个我说他们用尽了 resources 但是没能找到顺手牵羊的人所以 case closed。我也明白警察有更重要的刑事事件的处理,自己邋了东西别指望任何人帮自己找回,不过可以不要这么敷衍吗?交通卡的事件跟离谱,我因为事后隔一天下载了一个 app,所以我 track 的到有没有人用了我的卡,给我发现有人三天用了我的卡去了同样的地方,就是我卡不见的那间餐馆,那三天的 travel journey 都大同小异,我就知道了吗 100% 是餐馆的员工拾到了我的卡然后拿去用,因为 tracking 我也大概知道那家伙住那。我都帮警察做了这些 investigation, 不是警察教我的,我都自己想去堵人拿回卡了,但是警察只说会处理,两三个月后同样寄了那封敷衍的信说 case closed。不见包包的时候,他们说咖啡店没有对着我的座位的 cctv,他们都没有弄清楚我坐那!只是叫我描述吗。还有咖啡店周围的人行道有天眼好吗。我的包包有很大还鲜红色,请问有多常见?有心去看 cctv 不会难得。不过我也懂要 track 一个在 cctv 里面看到的人不容易啦。包包里有我的 IC 和 钥匙,我那时不紧张才怪才报了警。很我说没 cctv 对着我的座位很说不过去吧。我是新加坡人。我看报纸也看过不少严重的邻居纠纷是三年五年不断的叫警察都没得到 solution 的。我怀疑,这个奇葩房东的事件必须要有比较明显的刑事成分 (a clear modus operadi to scam rent and/ or deposit) 警方才会比较认真处理。跟你是否是公民无关。虽然我觉得 intention to cheat is not 100% but got 70% chance, quite obvious what there’s a pattern,不过也许对警方还是私人多过于刑事。Get mainstream media involved, give pressure maybe a solution.

    阿杰,jason,我也遇到相同的情况 ,和你说 只要你们没在屋主的家犯法 其实不用怕 , 最好的办法 就是 敢敢顶回他 然后 她会叫你搬出去 然后 你就偏不要搬 给他自己顶不顺 自然 就会给回你订金了 ,我是这样的啦

    Hello! I wonder if she has declared her rental income to the authorities since it seems like she doesn't get an agent to help out. It also doesn't seem like there's stamp duty involved in the transaction too. Perhaps you can try reporting to the police about possible rental income tax evasion and ask them to investigate her.
    There's no evidence of a CCTV within the rooms itself now and it's hard to argue based on the contract because it's worded unfavourably. So maybe this is another way to get the authorities to see that what she's doing is illegal.
    Hopefully, she gets a severe penalty as a lesson.

      Not many people are aware that they have to declare their rental income. Even if that is the case, landlords will simply increase the rental further to tenants to pay off the tax. Double whammy for tenants looking for a place to stay in a tight housing market.

    之前也有碰到這樣不講理的屋主,吃人夠夠。理由規矩這麼多,就不要租出去啊~
    感覺要騙人錢~
    對新加坡政府蠻失望的,沒有保護好來新加坡工作的人,但又很需要外來人來這工作。因為很多新加坡本地人,挑工作,很多服務業都不想做。

    Tenant is not responsible for whether the landlord can find a new tenant. She said is sg law that they have to pay 1 extra month. There isn't such a law. As she kept repeating, 'my law'😂

      I am not sure about the norms of renting out HDB flats but I think it is not quite right for you to just comment that the leaving tenant is not responsible to help the landlord find new tenant because I have known of some tenancy agreements which specify that the tenant needs to do so. So at the end of the day, it all depends on all the terms that are stated in the tenant agreements.

      看完之前和这支影片让我怒发冲冠啊!这位阿姐只活在自己的所设的‘家规’而忘了合约在是双方同意下定的,并不是她说了算!所以 最好在搬进去之前仔仔细细的拟好并签好合约。搬入后再追加的条约也得在双方同意之下,双方再签一个备忘录。至于警方不插手此事。。. 我认为是因为‘清官南断家务事’,他们也不是法官,只是执法人员,屋主与住客之间的合约纯属私事。既然是私事的纠纷,只能求助法律来解决了。但,我个人觉得那位建议住客走小额赔偿的警察就做得对。至少可以让住客知道一条可行之路。而不是一味的说不能插手就了了。
      確是,一种米养百种人。恶屋主的事件是个人的问题,不是哪个国家民族的问题。人与人之间必需互相帮助。阿姐啊!本是同根生,相煎何太急啊!!

    如果你十年前就发这种video就好了,我们遇到一个很变态的老屋主跟她女儿,平时我们休息在家,她会坐在我的房门偷听我们讲话。
    都不用cctv,她的耳朵比顺风耳还厉害,晚上上厕所也会注意我们,连我们晚上讲话也偷听,隔天还会给我们表情。
    冰箱是共用的,在冰格拿了一些冰,隔天整个冰格什么都没有。
    而且还有门禁,12点就锁门,钥匙是开不了的,敲门打电话都不肯开。
    从此我宁愿租贵一点,也不再跟屋主住,尤其是老auntie。
    搞到我心里阴影

      我估计这阿姐没结婚,不明白男人。男生拿着电话进厕所,是性纾解,哪里是什么玩游戏。打炮是男生的生理需要,她不可以阻止人家拿电话进厕所,,就好比上厕所大小号一样,是男生租房的权限范围之内。不过从这里可以肯定阿姐没有在厕所里安装摄像机啦。

    警察和HDB都说是私人问题管不了,也是说那份合同是没法律也就是屋主采取不了法律的.
    合同上的无理行为只是做个理由让你搬家,住客只要屋里不做犯法的事她是不能以这理由让你搬.
    要是屋主锁大门不让你进门可以报警.
    一样道理屋主也不能以合同来採取任何法律行动,所以她才一直跟住客讲"听我说"...这句话
    屋主敢一直这样骗因为还没碰上麻烦住客.
    最后要说的是用正确合法方式去租房,去掉这些不必要的问题,自己出来工作又忙又累.

    如果hdb有出规定,这间unit 超过三次投诉了,以后不能租给人,屋主会很怕不能租给人赚钱,还有deposit 纸条要是hdb政府出,凡是屋主要出租给人,如果屋主要吃租客deposit ,要有原因和证据,要经过hdb 同意,这样会保护租客😅

    新加坡还没有进步到为租客(大多数是没有投票权的外籍人士)制定法律框架保护租客,如果要作为一个真正的“先进国”,为租客制定法律,保护他们是必须的。
    如果每个遇到不幸的房客都挺身而出举报无理房东,就会给政府施加压力去制定法律,因为这会影响国家声誉,那么警察有了法律框架,就不会冷处理这些案件。
    所以如果你是房客,觉得自己受到无理对待,真的不要怕!真的真的要站出来!
    给媒体、政府制造压力,促使他们去制定保护租客和房东的法律框架!
    这才是真正解决问题的方法。
    在法国,即便房客拖欠房租,但房东是不能在冬天时把租客赶走的,为了避免房客被冻死街头,要赶走也必须等到春天,否则是违法。
    要作为真正的“先进国”,维护人权是基本!捍卫自己权利是我们作为小市民的责任!

    在单位内的共用的地方装CCTV並不触法, 除非在属于隐私的地方如房间内,浴室和厕所就有偷窥的法责问题, 如果未獲得有关部门的批准却在单位外装置CCTV 是犯规的.
    如果租户在看房时没留意或已发现房主有装置CCTV却还是接受租赁,那就自己认了,
    如果租戶在未预先獲房主提前通知而于租户搬入后装置,那就有理由交涉, 但这个阿姊房主必定独断独行.
    请别过度担心,要相信绝大多数的房主都是正常的,房主是不会此这般无理的.

    之前都有跟踪这件事,虽然与我无关,可是分享给正在找房间租的人,希望避免遇到同一个屋主,如果事实真如影片所说,这个屋主基本就是利用这样的方法循环诈骗。 就算警察做不了什么,至少尽可能让找房的人看到,减少不必要的麻烦。
    那些大牌和楼层影片都有提到,大家要知道地点可以点进去看,只能尽点绵力。

    The police cannot do anything. Becoz the hdb unit belongs to the landlord. However in the event where there is a major conflict in the event of a tenancy agreement signed, if the landlord unlawfully evict you or evict you legally according to contract, just leave first, because verything could be settled legally. Coz the landlord can file trespassing police report against you. However if you r evicted illegally, then you ca go thru small court claims or engage a lawyer on damages caused by the eviction especially in the event where no notice period was provided. And in the event where you evicted illegal where you didnt break the tenancy agreement and was evicted and your next place which you rented, e.g another shared room (within the same circumstances) and rental rate is higher due to market pricing, you can also engage a lawyer and claim back the extra amount which you are paying compared to the previous tenancy accordingly up to the tenancy agreement period.
    If the tenancy agree has rules and regulations which in the event where rules were broken consistently, landlord has the rights to evict the tenant, however traceable records will be required. In her situation she has CCTV will be her traceable record.
    Outside or contract the following are valid reason that a landlord can evict a tenant :
    1.) Consistently paying rental late.
    2.) Non payment of rental
    3.) Conducting of vices / bringing or keeping illegal materials within the property.
    Deposit wise, if you had broken the contract and being evicted legally, resulted a premature breaching of the contract period, the landlord has the rights to withhold the deposit.
    However if you manage to finish the tenancy contract period and had not cause major or extreme damages on landlords' properties you demand back your deposit. And in the event where the landlord want to exercise the full extend of the law, where landlord had evicted you legally they could also engage a lawyer to claw back lost of income due to the breaching of contact period where landlord will have to justify, that he of she had had been actively looking for tenants and how long it was until landlord finds a new tenant. They valid period of claw back if from the day of eviction until the end of agreement or contract period.
    Vice versa, if you are evicted illegally then you could also demand your deposit as well.
    Last but not least, the police can't do much on this matter accept for trespassing. If you face with such matters, you could get some help from small court claims. However if you want to excerise the full extend of the law, then you will need to engage a lawyer for such civil case. Note that this is civil case, not criminal case.
    In the event after termination of agreement (eviction letter/notice) after the notice period if tenant refused to shift out and/or refuse to make any rental payment if the landlord proceed in engaging legal advisors (lawyer) when the back charged happens on the period after notice period of legal eviction, the back charge can go up to twice the amount in the previous tenancy agreement per month. Just a note. However only when the landlord is upset and rich enough to engage a legal advisor and this has excavated beyond $$$ consideration but emotional approach. Vice versa, as mentioned above tenant could engage a legal advisor when evicted illegally and will definitely win.

      Placing cam in room/toilet only can appoint lawyer for civil court? Isn’t breach of privacy considered a crime? What if owner view/record my night workout with my wife? As I know landlord can’t install cam inside toilet and bedroom but can be install in public area such as living room and kitchen area. As well need to inform tenants about it

    Yes go file a report is important is too many ppl file report abt her intention to cheat the deposit then police will look into the matter cos is no jus a 1 time incident.

      Ya, I think it is important for those tenants who file the reports to provide as much details as possible. Since Zack had also accompanied the tenants to make police reports, not sure if you have also explained to the police that you encountered the same problem with this same landlord and you have made a police report previously.
      Sometimes, the police needs to be reminded that this is not the first case lodged already so that they will look into it seriously. Otherwise, they may just follow the standard procedure of a stand-alone case.
      As I have mentioned in your previous video also, encourage the previous tenants to file a police report and lodge the case with the tribunal collectively. It would definitely help. I have read comments in one of your video that those tenants managed to get their deposits back after doing so.

    一看合同就是霸王条约了,现在又不是奴隶时代,尤其是:1.房间不能锁门?(东西不见了可以赖房东吗?)2.一回来要马上洗澡?(我想什么时候洗澡你还管?又不是跟你睡)3.衣服晒一天,明天要收(如果一天晒不干是不是可以挂在你房间晾干?)4.吃饭不可带荤食?(搬进来还要转吃斋)5.冷气限时就不说了,还必须定在25度?(我开28°会不会赶我走?所有东西控制得那么细就已经发现这样的人不是什么有规矩的人,明显心态上出了问题,只适合跟没有情感和情绪的物体生活)6.不可在四周打喷嚏和咳嗽(连军队宿舍都没有这么罔顾人性的条规),如果租客住久了,心理也会出现问题。至于这位阿姐,真心建议去咨询一下心理辅导,看表面有明显的自我中心人格缺陷,再拖下去就会引发焦虑症、忧郁症等其他心理疾病,现在看到人抓痒已经顶不顺多多少少有点焦虑症了

    基本上警察对于法律也和我们一般市民对于法律模糊,就尽量避免给予错误的信息。
    或许一位资深的房屋经纪可以给予更多的法律途径意见。
    我会强力推荐马来西亚的朋友通过一位经验丰富的房屋经纪处理租屋事物。
    虽然需要支付半个月的租金为agent fees 但是遇到租屋纠纷可以通过经纪人帮忙处理。尤其对于新加坡法律不清楚的朋友会有很大的帮助。

    As long as the boys rent the room legally. Whatever they do in the room is none of owner business and owner cannot install hidden camera in their room because it will violate human right and privacy. Owners can have camera in other places except toilet because it is belong to common places and the boy dint rent whole houses. The police who gave you the answer is ridiculous and had no common senses. Perhaps just lazy and ignore you guys.

      The police have no jurisdiction in this kind of case, it not the police no common sense, it is because 99.99% you will loss the court case. If you had no experience this then you need to learn more about the Dark side in SG. The laws is not always fair! Dont forget if you had not get u Work permit and you have a legal case highly chance you will loss your job and your permit will be drop.
      We know this is unfair we all hate this evil person but hire a lawyer is very expensive and long process....

    想法是没对或错。只是角度不一样而且。怎样的角度就像这样,会就会做出怎样的事。这世上不一样的人太多,想法的层度也不一样。租房的人不能配合,搬家就对了。有时候为了生活,自己的爱好也要收一点。阿姐可能不会PR不太会说好话,但这个是他的家,他要保持卫生,也没错。卫生的环境好呀。他的租金价格也一班底。他一个女的,在家放CCTV, 这些都能理解。 就像租和出租的人角度想法也不一样。如果免这些烦心事,找property Agent 走正规 比较合适。法律就是世界和平。警察是讲正据的,不是人家不太想管。感觉下影片就是要讲新加坡的警察故事😅

    我的经历是找警察是没有用的,一开始是觉得新加坡是一个法制国家,应该会很好的方法帮助弱者/受害者。结果你花了很多时间去,报案,这里去,哪里问,他们记录了,但是结果一直等不到他们的回复和妥善解决。然后一直把你从这个部门踢去另外一个部门,像球一样,一直在等他们的消息,结果都是没有消息。甚至最后一次还遇到一个语气不好的警察,他只是问,这件事情有人命伤亡? 有毁坏公共物品? 如果没有,他也语气很不好的跟我说,你慢慢等吧,我们这里每天很多东西要处理,我问需要大概等多久? 他说至少3-6个月。我直接心寒,感觉就是叫你不用等的意思。结果6个月了,根本没有任何回应。只好乖乖认命,自己当破财消灾。

      感谢分享🙏🏻就是这种感觉,有时候就是这样的,我们很难去评估,因为在他们的角度,他们确实很忙,也因为体制上的问题而导致除非有人命伤亡他们才会优先处理,但在我们的角度这件事情现阶段对我们来说很严重,结果求助的希望变成绝望,我完全了解你想说的,我只能说世界就是这么运行的,看开一点可能就能够放过自己🙂

    不是刑事罪或者不是怀疑是刑事罪都不是警察的管辖。如果怀疑屋主有泄漏租客的资料就可以报案然后去PDPC投诉。报案只是为了可以让其他的authority 调查而不是警察来调查。如果是在不知情的情况下安装cctv來監視就是privacy 問題了,這個可以報警。如果是在知道有CCTV的情況下住進去,可能暗示著同意而勝算不大最多是罰款屋主沒有written consent. hope it helps.

    Btw the tenancy agreement got stamped by Iras or not har? If not go Iras report her. And non stamping tenancy agreement can’t use on civil court as I know

    Hi, in regard to the police what the police say is true coz rental issues is not a criminal offence as such this is a civil suit.
    However, as you had mentioned if the landlord had been cheating tenants on deposit as there are many multiple reports made against her. This is so called her modus operandi yes e police can investigate this case some sort of cheating.
    Pertaining to CCTV cameras inside the room, unless e tenants really saw the hidden camera installed inside the room they can lodge a police report against her this is harassment.

    各位租客要明白,Hdb law 要房客住满6个月的,可是是屋主的责任。如果这个屋主蓄意租短时间其实是违法的。当然她可以说人家租客选择早走了,可是好像要放空的,哪里可以一直换租客,短租?Update tenants can do via Singpass, on HDB website. 所以我觉得Hdb 那里她可能没申报,她自己短租。 如果越来越多人举报她,那算不算欺骗/scam?

      她确实没有申报,我上次叫她出示申报收据,结果她吱吱唔唔转移话题,而且她好像知道申报有Grace period,就在这段grace period里发生这些事情,有理说不清,游走灰色地带😮‍💨

    Hi, please complain to hdb (to me the worst government agency in sg) I guess they will do nothing , refer to mom (so far they have done a great job these 2 years) ask mom to refer iras .
    Why mom becos if mom send a simple email to iras on this unit iras will check if she had under declare her income…
    This owner will get to pay for income tax.
    Write one email to 3 government agencies

      It will work when mom send iras the registered worker address at this unit .. iras may conduct an investigation and this is how whistle blower works.. sg government concept”no complain no problem” when complain things starts to happen in a positive way .

    租房子合法是六个月,但是六个月内如果要搬,是可以的,只需要通知hdb。这位阿姐也许是没有和hdb注册房客。 因为注册一个住户需要还钱。

    13年前当我第一次来到新加坡工作时也是遇到很奇葩的屋主!当我不在家时屋主可以随时进你的房间。 有一次生病了没去上班正在睡觉男屋主既然开我的房间门,他看到我后还问我为什么在家!有时我一个人在家时,男屋主只穿一件底裤(只穿底裤走来走去)吓得我马上锁门不敢走出去。私下找女屋主说了她既然回我,这是他们的家要怎样就怎样。我就马上搬走了!但新加坡还是有很多好的屋主,别因为一小部分的奇葩屋主就放弃。大家加油💪

    我也遇过无良的屋主。一直拿我们跟前租客做比较。比如说前租客的公司有洗衣服务,他就没有在家洗衣服。然后这个屋主就叫我们衣服洗少一点,怎样晒的方法都要follow她的要求。又说前租客很少在家的,做么我们晚上都在家😂洗完澡,要把地上跟墙壁弄干才可以出来。明明是她儿子弄肮脏厕所,她诬赖我老公,还讲我们没有家教。收了deposit,却说我们没有给。每天10点之前要回到家,因为她要double lock了才可以安心睡觉。理由是她的unit靠近电梯,她觉得很不安全😅。每天就像cctv一直盯着你,回到家一定要跟她说aunty我们回来了😒。冰箱放一支牛奶,她说牛奶会弄到她其他东西坏😅 。最后我们住一个月就不要住了,deposit当送她了😢

      这个和我以前遇到的有点像,一样也是回来如果没有称呼他们跟他们打招呼就被说没有家教,只有微笑也不行哦
      搬进去前说好一个星期洗两次衣服,后来有一天刚好她要洗衣服被我给先洗了(因为那时我有件裤子因为划船弄湿了)她就发脾气说我平时4天洗一次,为什么我才三天就洗,而且还拿出日历说她都有在记录🌚真是吓到我了
      她就说一开始说好一个星期洗一次,我很坚定说不是,她就没有反驳,后来晚上她跑去和老公讨论,然后说她老公也是说一个星期一次。觉得这样不就都他们说的算🙄
      而且有时他们买来拜拜用的斋饭,自己不想吃就叫我吃,上面还有香的灰烬……之前刚搬来时吃过一次,很难吃,我就说我不要,她:你不要那你要我们怎么办啊?那不就浪费食物了?
      真的傻眼,自己买的东西自己负责啊……我是垃圾桶吗🙄

    This auntie landlord very fussy not easy get along . But to be frank no landlords like their tenants to dirty their place with no responsibility. But we also knows not easy find a kind tenant know to keep their rented house clean. Is all depends on individual, everyone have their character. Some people are very fussy of place they stay whether is rented one or their own house. they Don mind to sleep in dirty n messy place. 😅

    Actually, from the woman's spoken mandarin accent, I think she is malaysia-born and she last time migrated from malaysia to singapore. By the way, last time I ever worked housing rental agent for 8 years and I noticed that those singaporean-chinese flatowners and those malaysian-chinese flatowners if they say they totally refuse to rent to China-chinese tenants, then even if you are not from china and you are malaysian or filipino or indian or indonesian, you should not rent his/her rooms/flat too becos when the flatowner as a chinese race person himself/herself whose ancestors are also from China, if the flatowner is so narrow-minded and nasty to totally discriminate against all China tenants and refuse to rent to all china tenants, this already proves that the flatowner has severe character problems and even though you are not from china and you are malaysian or indian or filipino or indonesian, next time when you want move out, you very likely will have difficulties getting back your entire deposit.
    My that last time past 8 years housing rental agent experiences, I found that those singaporean-chinese flatowners and malaysian-chinese flatowners if they have a blanket discrimination rule that they totally refuse to rent to all China-chinese tenants, then next time when their malaysian/Filipino/india/indonesian tenants move out also very very difficult to get back their full 1 month deposit becos they will find many excuses and many ways to deduct your deposits

    说实话啊。在外打工的都是要贪小便宜。是否能够找到最便宜的租金?如果能够提前预约的话也不用赔钱。所以才会有这么多问题。反正二房东也是你们自己马来西亚🇲🇾人很容易商量的。

      嗯,让我来说明当时的情况。在我和她签合同的时候,她和我说惹事只是如果在客厅还是房间里弄坏东西而已。。。而其他的呢,都是她突然在后面莫名其妙的加进去的哟。而且她每一次都会挑一些小毛病来说我们,然后要我们搬出去😅本来做工就很压力了,结果回家还要承受这阿姐的压力。。。
