In some ways, however He doesn’t use Elevator Keys anymore because it’s also actually illegal to do so + considering breaking an entering if I remember correctly. (Without asking permission to use them on an Elevator. This video was recorded/filmed 13 years ago.)
@@ElevatorsInternationalThe only time you would be breaking and entering is if you used your keys to access a restricted floor or elevator without permission. In comparison, turning off lights/fans without permission is considered tampering.
This is why in European elevators you have to press the phone button for 5 seconds at least. Prevents accidental pressing and kids playing wih buttons.
I love this kind of elevator. I have road in many kinds like this. You might think this is weird. But I love the sound of that fan. I rode in one. But has the same fan and chimes.
Could you please do another video for this elevator I love this one Mark and I want to hear with the emergency alarm sounds like also please keep the fan on because I like the Van
Nice key demo. Key usage is very fun if you have permission. The principal at my school would let me use my UTA key to take our elevator on independent service joyrides.
you have a pretty rad principle. you couldn't get on the elevator at my school without a hall monitor yelling at you to get off. I'm special though so I get to ride it :)
+EvMast Productions that's correct! However, the keys are actually sold by Unitec... The company that makes buttons for Otis. If a third part company uses Unitec as well, the may also use the UTA-H
Etiquette. There are dos and don'ts of elevator keys. For the most part, using them unauthorized is a no-no. As for the stop switch, I'd say that's fine as they used to not be keyed at all so long as you aren't leaving it on stop when you leave the elevator, that takes the elevator completely out of service.
That was great that guy was able to apologize to the operator in the elevator when those other people when they were stating to walk out of the elevator those people accidentally pushed the emergency phone button and that guy was lucky he came in the elevator just as those people who pushed the emergency phone bottom in the elevator so those other people didn't have to apologize to the operator. yes I the elevator operator was rude also because she didn't say of that's OK
I thought you MADE a video on the appropriate and inappropriate use of elevator keys. Isn't tampering with equipment not allowed?Did you get permission?
WTF dude, can't you keep your keys to yourself?? What if I found a key to your house on your driveway and used it to steal all of your stuff? You wouldn't like it, so show some respect to other people's property.
Bro is so cool he just carrys around the keys to all the elevators and casualy just turns on the fan without assistance. Love your stuff!

@@BusMaster99 That makes sense
You have activated a fan.

Kone = for 3, 5 or 20 seconds
Otis = for 5 seconds
Schindler = for 3 seconds
Thyssen/Thyssenkrupp = for 5 seconds
THAT'S SO SAD :(
BritishMetric144 Well you use the HELP button is very course a feature
The same goes for Korea.
Wish our American elevators had that feature
For 2011, that's a good camera.
Guess the people that answer the emergency phones get tired of people hitting the buttons. They just hung up and never said a word. Not even a OK.
CamperMike they said something you just didn’t hear over his voice
I don't like the fan for the most part, but the startup of it is pretty neat though!
This is an Otis Series 5 Hydraulic.
nice otis fan start up
I love this kind of elevator. I have road in many kinds like this. You might think this is weird. But I love the sound of that fan. I rode in one. But has the same fan and chimes.
I do too! I like the start up sound it made
That happened to me like 10 times already. When me and my friend rides the elevator, I see a red light on that was on the phone.
wow.
Wow indeed
I saw a Otis series 2
interesting that they accidentally press the the phone. nice elevator and property.
who press the phone?
A previous passenger
Wait I thought you stopped using keys
This was an old video in 2011.
+kkkkk3157 that explains it
+PAelevators Obviously you didn’t read the description, it says it right there!
+Jared Gas Chambers Well I think he may only do it off cam. though.
+Jared Gas Chambers Hey! Not cool! Wait a sec? You’re just a troll account.
Could you please do another video for this elevator I love this one Mark and I want to hear with the emergency alarm sounds like also please keep the fan on because I like the Van
Was that pool an Arkansas pool
I've seen that happen before.
Really? That's cool
I was in that hotel once it was super cool :)
They probably tried to close the door and accidentally hit the emergency phone
3:36 I like the sound of that fan
They really should have a delay on the button for the phone because the phone fails will become worse. It probably already is.
HD in 2011? Wow!
I believe this is the only Otis on Chincoteague Island. I think every other elevator on that island is a Delaware.
It is
Was this on the T900 or the TX10?
+Elevatorguy15 tx10
OK. Love your videos by the way! Could you also do a hotel and garage tour of the new Hampton inn?
The T900 is 720 HD quality while the TX10 is 1080 HD quality.
@@DieselDucy This looks just like the other one you filmed except the handrails are on the side, and this one doesn't run too good

Obviously the elevator @ your school’s an Otis, since the UTA key’s 1 of the keys made by Otis/United Technologies.
+EvMast Productions that's correct! However, the keys are actually sold by Unitec... The company that makes buttons for Otis. If a third part company uses Unitec as well, the may also use the UTA-H
+SeminoleVators brand, spankin' new series 7
Yup.
Whoever answered was kind of rude. She didn't even let you finish your sentence and just hung up, haha.
*hits phone button again, walks out* hehe
msj191961 Actually she understood and said "thank you" before he goes, you have to know emergency phone is a very serious feature
That happened to me one time when I thought I was stuck in an elevator
did it call the emergency?
@@DieselDucy Yes
