If you let your hair air dry until it's 75% dry, then why would you want a hair dryer? This doesn't make sense. Hair dryers are for people who don't have time to wait for their hair to air dry, duh.
If I completely air dry my hair it doesn't look nice. It looks frizzy, staticy, dull... Blow drying makes it look smooth and polished. I'm not sure about the whole 75% deal (can probably get away with close to 50%) but you definitely aren't supposed to blow dry wet hair because it causes damage. You should make sure it's no more than slightly damp.
I had the Rusk one years ago. Really wasn't THAT impressed by it. My Avanti Turbo is better. I've had it for over 5 years now and it still works great (which says a lot for today's technology). Dries my hair faster (I have extremely dense hair) even though it has a lower wattage and it has an ion switch so I can turn them on or off. Which is SUPER useful since ion hair dryers make my hair greasy and flat (it's a thing. Look it up) but I still like to switch them on for a minute or two at the end just to smooth my hair a bit more and give that polished look.
Picking a budget is a big part of our research for every review. We're never going to get a list of candidates that's perfect for every buyer, but we try to test a range that covers all the best-sellers. Our big goal is to show the real strengths and drawbacks of popular products in fair, controlled testing.
We definitely didn't miss it, but it's hard to say that a $400 hair dryer is "best." For some people, it's probably a great choice! But this line-up represents what our research shows most people are shopping for. I'm confused about why you think a review like this is sponsored, though... we make money by recommending products we think people will actually buy and not return. If we thought $400 hair dryers were going to be a popular pick, it'd definitely be in our interest to promote them. As it is, we're not sure it's worth spending money to test them.
@@YourBestDigs well if you genuinely want to recommend the best you should've tried it out. Is this vid about best price to performance ratio hairdryer? Didn't mention it anywhere.

Good review but I prefer my Karmin dryer.

This must be the best hair dryer within a certain price range. The best ones aren’t even listed here.
