After a year of trying, we finally made into the infamous Cecil Hotel, AKA Hotel death. We investigated through the witching hour and caught some of the most INSANE paranormal evidence we have ever caught on camera .. we learned the truth about what happened to Elisa Lam... I would really love to see more investigations of personal house hauntings. I feel like everyone always goes to these hotels and haunted landmarks but not many investigators actually investigate homes. I think you could catch more going to different people's homes yo investigate.

Yes that’s why I love watching a particular other channel as well because they mostly go to peoples homes that are haunted. I find it to be more interesting. But don’t get me wrong I still love mackie and Amanda’s videos as well.

Regarding Elisa Lam,
[first off; I genuinely hope she’s and her family/loved ones able to find peace~ as well as all the other lost and forgotten souls]
2nd; ‘Once you eliminate the impossible, whatever remains, no matter how improbable, must be the truth.’
..I can’t help but strongly feel like something nefarious happened to Elisa Lam. More specifically, I think there’s a good chance that it was something unseen- but seen by her. I don’t at all think that that’s a stretch, especially considering the history of the Cecil and knowing that the paranormal/supernatural world is very real and blurs into our reality. That certain entities are sometimes able to reach fragile minds.

I wish they had the time/ would have tried to zero in on Elisa’s spirit more( while there ) to tell her that it’s safe to cross over & that (they) give safe passage to find the light that it’s ok & (we’re) going to help (her) to move on from this place.

idk how effective it is I’m not a medium I’m just sorta sensitive..but if Amanda& Mackie did something like that I don’t think it would hurt to try & there’d be a chance Amanda would see/feel/know if it was effective.

I came from watching Sam and Colby, Amanda brings such a wealth of knowledge and maturity to each experience, and I’ve been learning so much from watching these videos. Things I had never had a clue of. And Mackie does such a wonderful job of storytelling. It’s such a great pairing, especially when they’re paired together with the comedic, high energy of Sam and Colby. They balance each other out well
I wonder if it confuses the spirits when too many people are asking questions and saying this for yes and that for no…maybe it would be better to designate one person at a time for questions and give them ample time to answer. Great job team keep it up!!!
My sister randomly looked at ny screen did a weird noise and said “Manda”(shes 2) and I paused and said “which one is Amanda?” She pointed straight at her so I was keen and asked “Wheres Makie” she pointed and said “right there”

I live a stones throw from you in NH and this coast, specifically where you and I live, have huge amounts of paranormal sites; Marie Sherries forest, I live a few miles from ocean born Mary’s home, and on the back road there-u pass the plague house-where people were sequestered once sick and buried. There’s a very haunted bed and breakfast in Washington nh. (It was one, now residential) anyhow, I’m sure I’m forgetting places but there’s a lot. The towns are scattered in small family grave plots with rock wall dividers.
Anything you’ve seen where you live or experienced? I’ve been a zillion x but never had anything happen.

50:55 from the look on Amanda’s face after Nikki says “you don’t have our permission to do that”, I have a feeling one of the spirits or entities responded with “I don’t need your permission”.
Edit: just got to 51:21 where Amanda says she heard them respond with “don’t need it”, so my hunch was correct.
That's not true. They need it. Can't do anything without permission, not even speak. They just count on the fact that we don't know that, are scared, don't see or hear them, are unaware of our power, make us belive they don't need permisssion, they are too strong, and so on, so they belive they can do whatever they want and we can't stop them, but that's not. They act like that until we stop them. The girls were not taken seriously only because they were scared and their frequencies were low. No anger no fear no frustatiton no low frequencies is a must when you go in places like that.
I have no idea if anyone’s mentioned this so far, but at @17:06 , immediately after Mackie asks “Could you put a little bit more energy into it, make one of the colors go off?”, Amanda goes “wait” very quietly, and there is an extremely audible voice that goes “Sure”. I replayed that moment over and over again to see if it was one of you guys, and I didn’t see any of you move your mouths even to talk! I love your videos and to hear something so audibly respond is incredible-

I absolutely feel that Elisa was killed with the “guidance” of a darker force. The way she was acting and the fact that when she was found, there were certain factors that didn’t make sense for it to have been self-inflicted
Yeah either this is one big hoax, or she was part of a elaborate plan of something powerful. So many odd little things in this case.

@@kennaisabell This is rigged, 100%. Not saying she 100% never died, just seemed like this was planned ahead of time. Honestly, I tie this into the simulation theory. And yes, it does freak me out, kinda feels like this story is rubbing something in or face and mocking us, but what I wonder.
She was off her meds when she stayed at the hotel, so that didn't help. It made her susceptible to dark "forces" in a sense.
She was taking medicine for a bipolar disorder and it can make you have hallucinations so the way she was acting in the elevator could've been from that but someone had to have helped her onto the roof and into the tank because the roof door is locked and alarmed I believe and the water tower entrance is way too small for a person to get themselves in there by themselves
I really enjoyed this video and I'm glad you guys got to do an investigation, but I hope your friend doesn't get in trouble for bringing you guys around the building. He was really sweet for doing so, though!
When they get to the hotel and they think it says “he’s here” if you listen closely it sounds more like “she’s here” with a faint “s” in the beginning. But I think the voice was announcing to the others that their invite was accepted and she (being Amanda and/or Mackie) showed up.

I'm SO glad you actually sat down and took time in each room you visited.. Amanda, you seemed to be picking up on multiple things, good and bad, AND still were able to keep your cool. Sometimes I do!!! I usually do it before we start a session or when we go in anywhere because it’s the polite thing to do!!! we introduce ourselves when we go into the homes of the living and I do the same thing for spirits! 😂

Im almost positive Elisa Lam had a mental breakdown if I HAD to guess. She was posting odd things, Bipolar, and on hallucinogens. There have been many researchers and doctors who have concluded she had a manic episode and drowned. But regardless, this place is WEIRD!!!!!!

I think that this is true and one of her hallucinations was the “entity” that was mentioned during the Estes Method and that’s what she was “hiding” from. (Liz said “I’m hiding” during Estes)

I’ve been fascinated by this hotel ever since TFIL dropped their investigation a year or two back. Watched the Netflix documentary as well. Also, the horror movie Dark Water has a lot of similarities to the Elisa Lam case. Love your vids!

I finally got to see it in person when I got to visit LA for the first time…sidenote I saw it when my ex boyfriend KENNY brought me to see it, which was the name said in the richar rameirez room! had chills and there’s just a complete energy shift there that’s so different. The test is actually called ELISA, short for "Enzyme Linked Immunosorbent Assay", there's not really a 'Lam' in it anywhere. But the first name being the same is already weird coincidence enough, I'd say.

I'm convinced the movie '1408' was inspired by this hotel! I remember when that movie first came out, there were rumors that it was true. The entire movie is STILL on youtube for free too! Its one of my favorite psychological horror/thriller movies!
When they talked about the water tower, I was like oh my gosh there is a movie that was similar to that!
The elisa lam case was truly one of a kind. I haven't watched the video yet so I don't know if they have explained this, but their are so many questions in this case. When Elisa Lam was seen in the elevator it was said that she looked scared like she was running away from something or someone. This is where the infamous game of "The elevator game" came from. While Elisa was missing they found out she had gone to the roof. They checked and found nothing. This is when I was confused on why they didn't check the water tanks. Anyways the siser, Sara Lam, came out and said that she had BPD (Bipolar Personality Disorder) and she hadn't been taking her medications. Which could explain why she was scared or at least looked scared. When they found Elisa in the water tanks, they first suspected murder which is very very possible given the reputation that the hotel had, but they had labeled this as an accidental drowning. They did this because not taking her BPD meds could have caused her to imagine things and these things could have caused her to "hide" in a water tank.
Sorry this is so much, but it is truly fascinating.
Bpd stands for borderline personality disorder! I have it and it absolutely can cause irrational suicidal thoughts and tendencies out of almost nowhere and for some ppl it can have co-occurrence with psychosis though it’s not necessarily a symptom of the disorder. So it is a possibility i guess

When I went to LA and passed by the hotel I got the creeps if your ever in LA pass by and see it , I was creeped out and the Elisa case may she Rest In Peace but I fell down that rabbit hole too the elevator video gave me the creeps there was definitely either someone there or something influencing her or taunting her

This video was so crazy!! I can’t believe they led you there! Apparently when I was living in DTLA I was only a few blocks from here. But being from out of state, I didn’t really know anything about the Cecil or Richard Ramirez. Until all the Netflix documentaries started coming out and I started recognizing some of the backgrounds in the shots of the area. Then I looked up the address and almost shit my pants 😂😂 Such a crazy experience living in that area. But such a fun, amazing time! I miss California so much.. At 24:34 u can clearly see Amanda move her hand onto the device causing it to slip down then it would of slid off due to unbalance that's definitely my theory on that scene. But other than that great video going to sub to you as I watch Sam and Colby and love these types of videos.

During the Estes Method when you guys were getting info about what happened to Elisa, Liz said “I’m hiding” and I had a thought….
What if she WAS having a mental breakdown and hallucinating and was “hiding” from this “entity” that was mentioned a little later during the Estes method.??
That’s my official guess on what happened to Elisa.
That’s a huge debate!!!! Lots of people think that same thing, either being off her medication, or experimenting with something new might have left her vulnerable to some negative entity at the Cecil hotel
I’ve seen other investigations of the Cecil. Something usually hiding. It could be Elisa or a user/addict. It’s a very active hotel much like the Crescent Hotel in Eureka Springs. It’s hard to say. I love that you investigated the Cecil.

Still am surprised to say that I've stayed in this hotel, in 2014 about a year after the death. Didn't know about any haunting, was called stay on main and was a hostel and it wasn't until 2 years ago I saw a Cecil Hotel video and was like, huh, that looks familiar.

That would be a great place to set up cameras and leave the room. You should do those kind of videos more often (live videoes where no one is in the room, that way you captures a lot of sounds) it could be at haunted places, but also at haunted homes. Maybe set up cameras at mackies house
