I just discovered your channel recently and I have no idea how you don’t have more subscribers or views.. absolutely amazing content that deserves so much more recognition
There's something about this video that make it my favorite to fall asleep to. I guess it's the consistently slow-paced cadence and soft, whispery tones of your speech (which all your videos have), but in this one they are really maintained throughout, with very little average-paced speech or average volume slipping in at all. Thank you for all the tingles and relaxation - I'm so grateful for you and this channel!
That was absolutely marvelous! Could you do other famous trips, such as other expeditions or voyages, or maybe even Jules Vernes' fictional 80 day trip around the world?
I'm very particular about ASMR and you and Gentle Whispering are the only artists I actually listen to. I'm not surprised your subscriber count has jumped so much in the past year, you are a really marvelous, and incredibly interesting artist! I feel like I'm learning subconsciously when I fall asleep to these videos. Well done.
It makes me very happy each time I come to your channel and see your subscriptions have increased. Congratulations on surpassing 1K-onwards and upwards! You deserve to do well; you produce such excellent videos, for which I am most grateful.
It has been such a pleasure to go back and watch these older videos. Your content is so varied and interesting and every video is pure relaxation mixed with education. I love it! Thank you for these amazing videos.
@@MelangeASMR I’m shocked that with over 30k subscribers you are still replying to people with personalized comments. That must be very hard to keep up with, but it makes my day, so thank you!
These are just fantastic and I I want to encourage you to make more the way you caress the book and show beautiful pictures and histories in these large picture books and the ones about art history. I just extraordinary work and I look forward to more thank you so much.
Oh my goodness! 🤯 Congratulations on nearly 1K!! Can't believe it ❤️ You totally deserve it. I've really enjoyed all your lovely videos, including this one - Darwin was a genius 🐦🐦 Good luck with more subscribers and more amazing videos! 💕 Xxx
You must do a lot of preparation work, but it seems effortless the way it slips off the tongue beautifully, thank you, wish I had history teachers with your wonderful accent at school, i would have taken more notice. But listening to you at 70 am still learning
I would love to know where you found that book, if it is possibly made in an english version/available in the states! I'm a huge natural history buff and that looks like a lovely living room book.
Hi Annie, thank you for the kind words! 💛 So far I haven't found one, and I'm currently not really sure I'd want to deal with the comment section that kind of topic might attract 😅 There will definitely be more videos on North America, though!
Found your channel a couple of days ago and subscribed immediately. Truly amazing. In this video just wanted to add that this book you were reading it's actually quite accurate. Thought at first why call it just Patagonia and not Argentina (my country) but then when you said the year was 1834 or so I understood it was just right because these were very troubled days in all South America. Wars of Independence from Spain to be precise. Patagonia was as big as half Argentina at the time and belonged to many aboriginal tribes. Some forty years later our government at the time started the horrible Desert campaign and killed most of them and took their land, being one of the excuses the fear that the English would invade Patagonia. The irony.
Hello to Argentina, thank you for subscribing! I'm very happy to have around. And thank you for the added information - my knowledge of South American history is pretty shoddy, unfortunately, so this is the first time I've heard of the Desert campaign. :(
I love all your videos, but these historical journeys are my favorite. Have you thought about doing the Lewis and Clark Expeditions of the United States frontier?

Your soft spoken voice is eargasmic and your hand movements I liken to the movement of swans. Pure elegance.
Oh, I'm flattered, thank you so much!

@@MelangeASMR Awww no problem 🙂
My only criticism of this Melange was that it was too short! I could happily listen to you talk about this for hours! X
I profoundly apologize! May I suggest a playlist as compensation?
🧡
@@MelangeASMR gratefully received! Thank you for your great work Melange.
Everything about this video is simply wonderful - thank you ☺️

That is very kind of you to say, thank you! I just have a suspicion that if I were a teacher, most of my classes would be fast asleep haha...
What a wonderful book, as well😮
Im very particular about my asmr. This is one of my particularly favourite channels.
Thank you 💜💜
💚💚!

@@MelangeASMR thank you! Don't worry Melange, we don't talk much about the desert campaign, it's a dark secret.
New subscriber here. This is glorious!!!
Thank you so much!!

Thank you, Nicole! 🥰 I know absolutely nothing about Lewis and Clark, so that would be really interesting. Thanks for the suggestion!
Watched your video last night during the missile attack.
God bless you!
Hope you're safe 💛
