Im loving the return of the solid highbacks...
Great video! Just got myself some new A6 on my 23 Warpig 👌🏻
Hi Guf! Thank you for your videos and I’m really stoked that you started your own channel!🤟🏻
Btw will you be selling the Black Union Strata/Force Team Highback Bindings?
Thr redesign was great besides the ankle strapsmnthey simply need more surface area. Aka bigger straps
Thanks. This helped me choose the A6 hakuba to match my reaper Wolf WARPIG. Just strapped in and the ankle strap on the A6 is fantastic
Sick! Glad to help! Nice setup!!!
Damn I have the reaper and was thinking of those too. Twins. Thoughts on the bindings?
@@Brose_Canseco I really like them! They've got good amount of side flex but super responsive still. I got medium for size 10 boot and they're a perfect fit. But any bigger and you'd want a large for sure
@@jaredjames5565 thanks homie, I’m between these and the c8’s. I’m back into the game after a few years off so just trying to figure out what’s the best fit. This new Warpig is sick tho. Immediately made me a better rider lol
@@Brose_Canseco I think the C8 or even A8 would still be a great combo with the Warpig!
Thanks a lot for doing this, Matt! There wasn't a whole lot of info on the new binding lineup, like you said, so this is really helpful.
Would you say the C-4 is super noodly? Could I put them on a Superpig or should I step up to the C-6?
Thanks! Stoked on the new channel.
What binding did you go with? C4 or C6?
I just bought a Twinpig and wondering which binding to go with .
Glad you have your own vid wanted your opinion more tbh
Right on! Thanks!
Got CL8. It’s beautiful, but a little too much pressure on the ankle imo
I ve the rodeo for years and i m happy with it- now i ve a new board (warpig) and i wanna try some other but similar binding like the rodeo.
What do you prefere? A6 or C6/C4
Thnkx for answer
Hey guf, I'm just wondering if the ride A series work really well for the Ride helix board that I got that u recommended for me? I'm into park for rails and jumps but I also like free riding.
Nice bindings
Word up!
What pairs best with the warpig? C10 or A6? Can buy either one at a good price
Any suggestion for a size 14 boot riding a stiffer board?
Love my Rides ! A & C series both
Is a c-2 a good binding for a intermidiate to advanced 13 year old?
Hi Matt I just got the 2021 ride twin pig board can't decide which bindings I would like to pair with it. I don't plan on hitting any park more just all mountain. I am on the east coast. I am pretty new to snowboarding so any advice would help thanks 👍
I got the same board and am struggling with binding choice. I actually purchased Burton Missions and they were a disaster cos it was impossible to centre the boot. I sized myself on Union STR's but the toe ramp is very bulky on those and it doesn't really fit the boot nicely. I really liked the flex on them though but the Ride bindings line up perfectly centered on the TwinPig. The issue though is the Ride bindings are just so confusing with which ones would actually be ideal. I've talked with Ride and they've said Revolt would be fine but then I go in a store and the staff tell me it's too soft and recommend the LTD, but i'm concerned i'm not good enough for that yet and am going to get punished a lot. I just wish the STR's lined up better cos Ride bindings are difficult to work out and the advice from them is inconsistent whereas other conversations with binding companies has been straightforward.
Oh yeah, and with this whole revamp they've actually gone and changed the sizing which has made it even more complicated for me with a 10.5 boot. Before it was easy as their Large size was 8-12, now they've gone and changed it so that people on the cuff of 10-11 are either Medium or Large which is so annoying as you have to get sized in a store but none of the stores actually have them in stock and they want you to pay to get the bindings transferred to your local store.
Could you explain why you would want the 10 over the 4. I understand it’s stiffer, but what type of riding would you use each for? Who would benefit most with the different types of bindings.
Stiffer bindings are better for all mountain riding, backcountry, big features. Flexier bindings are for all mountain leaning more towards park where you can do jibs and butters. Stiffer is more stable at high speeds and tough terrain, softer you are able to get loose on your board
@gufgear which of these would you recommend for the Ride Warpig?
@ronnie - what did you end up buying ? I am looking for bindings for my Warpig - I don't do park (I'm 47 and my knees don't like jumps LOL) but I love charging groomers and going balls-out on blue and red runs. I have found last seasons' A-10 at 50% off, so really tempted, but thinking the A8, or C8 might be better for me.
@@nottusleinad I ended up going with a Never Summer triple camber board and threw on some Flux DSL bindings. If I would have gone with warpig and your style of riding I would have definitely gotten the A10s as they are stiff and will hold up, but that is my opinion.
@@ronniereed5392 thank you. I actually bought some 2021 A-8 yesterday evening for silly money on eBay, so hopefully they'll be great. 👍
Can I use ride bindings with ETS mount?
Yes. As far as I know, you can use any make of binding on Burton boards. You just need to get the disc that has the right holes that line up with the EST channel and I’m pretty sure the discs he showed in the video are universal with holes for most setups. You will need Burton/EST specific screws and cleats that run inside the channel though. They are most often black, in contrast to the silver metal colour of non EST hardware.
Too bad they're sold out almost everywhere
