Just found a $30 burton board from 99 with SI bindings. Can't find any boots my size!
How can I get Hi-Standard Camo/Checkerboard
Is a c-2 a good binding for a intermidiate to advanced 13 year old?
Getting a steal on a custom x 162w. I’m 6’1 190# us11. Good fit? Or should I pass?
Step In seems like they’d easily get snow pack in the notches since they are in the middle of the foot just from walking around or skating. Step Ons obviously much different. Before my local mountain opens I might snag a pair of step Ons
Just bought a 2023 156 Dispute, hope it rides as good as it looks 8^) I'm sure it will
Such high quality videos! Even the custom soundtrack!! Hope you can make videos again someday
I have both systems though I am currently using the step on and passed the step in down to my youngest child, which he loves!! I am afraid both ststems will have the same issue, and that is that after years of use, not necessarily intensive, the sole of the boots will fall apart due to the pressure that they stand. It has happened to 2 pairs os step in boots and will happen with the step on, unless the brand offers a solution
Great video! Just got myself some new A6 on my 23 Warpig 👌🏻
The mix you made with your voice got me to subscribe. Awesome bud besides that as Well great energy
I had old Ruler SI boots and I saw on your video that boots you used were broken. As I bought ones back part was solid as a rock. I rode my boots 20 years and I loved them. After 20 years they broke and had similar look like Rulers you showed on your vid. I think old Rulers was much better than new STEP ON ones. I tried new ones and finally don't buy them.
Can I use ride bindings with ETS mount?
Yes. As far as I know, you can use any make of binding on Burton boards. You just need to get the disc that has the right holes that line up with the EST channel and I’m pretty sure the discs he showed in the video are universal with holes for most setups. You will need Burton/EST specific screws and cleats that run inside the channel though. They are most often black, in contrast to the silver metal colour of non EST hardware.
HELLO CAN ANYONE HELP? i was handed down a "step-in" binding set up but i need to get boots what kind of boots am i looking for to fit the "step-in" bindings shown in this video?
Love the videos Matt. How did the custom get on through the season? What board will you ride this year?
The Burton SI system was the greatest thing ever, and the way that my boot was locked to the board made it so responsive. I was devastated when they discontinued them. I'm currently looking at getting the SO system, and I hope there isn't any play like you say there is.
There are few mm of play on each connection points, but still the step on is way more responsive than normal bindings, been riding them ever since they first came out. Go for it you won’t regret it.
@@User_R4nD0MnUmb3R5 I had my first real day on them today, and I did like them. They were super quick edge to edge, but when I stepped in the the bindings, all the clicks happened at the same time so I wasn't sure that I was properly engaged. I figure if I take two turns without falling out (heelside & toeside), then I'm properly in. I tied my speed record at 48mph on my first day using them, so I can't complain about the performance.
@@zed6and789 actually you supposed to hear 4 clicks, one on each toe side, two on the heel. Sometime if you have snow or ice stuck on the binding you’d have to stomp the heel down to get the second click.
@@User_R4nD0MnUmb3R5 Yes, I understand the four clicks that are supposed to occur, but since some happen simultaneously, it only sounds like one. Then I get a 2nd click sound from the other toe hook. The fact that I'm riding with headphones probably doesn't help me register the clicks either.
i'm old school with the SI-X stepin hooking soft Drifter boots to a 6.9 Alp; my mountain-cruiser board. For hardline carving i use Physics stepin hooking hard Fire boots to 5.7 and 7.8 Factory Primes. They will light you up...
If I want to get married I will get married
What new burton board is most like the whammy bar. Something with the "mid spoon" like the whammy bar.
Thr redesign was great besides the ankle strapsmnthey simply need more surface area. Aka bigger straps
Great to see you back guff... . I was wondering what happened to you over at the house always like your videos
I rode my 1999 stepins earlier this month for the fist time in 10 years...... I came home and bough all new gear, the new step ons are AMAZING AF
2022 invado pro lace/boa or 2021 aura pro boa?
The right foot OG liner was way smaller than my left one. Idk why.
supeer video!! i love this board too , i want to buy one but i want wider version , becouse i like to carve , im 80kg for 175cm do you think 158wide is good for me?
Hey, I’m about to cop the new burton custom Camber (even though this years design is ass compared to the lightning bolt) I saw your review for it and I’m about the same size as you (6’3 - 210/215lbs) would you recommend the 158W or 162W after riding it for a bit now
We should ride some dat I got a season pas to buck hill this year. It’s so nice having that in the middle of Burnsville, great video.👍
Are you from Minnesota? I ride at buck hill all the time I have a season pass there.
Are you from Minnesota? I ride at buck hill all the time I have a season pass there.
I have a question I bought me some Burton custom si bindings but didn't come with the disc what disc is required to use for them if you could help me that would be awesome thank you
Thanks for the video Man. Do you recommend the camber or Flying V for a beginner? 🤙🏼
Hi i bought the custom camber 162w this year but after seeing this video i thought about changing it with a 158w becouse of what u said. I am like 4 cm shorter than you and i weight 4 kg less than you. Is the 162 too much?? If i look at the reference i should get the 162 and u too. What shoul i do?
Was at Buck Hill Saturday to try out Step On system for the first time. Love them.
RULER STEP IN!! I have ride it so much that I have broken the internal hook structure in the boots..😂
Hello fellow buck rider, I noticed your custom is a wide. I’m 5 10 and 215 lbs. Last 10ish years I’ve been riding a Burton Process Flying V and just got new step ons with Photons. Do you think I’d benefit from a wide board? I’m debating on the new custom and switching to camber because Minnesota.
The color is my favorite part of the graphic
You gonna head back to andes this season?
Opening in a couple weeks
Hi Matt, what shoe size do you have in Vans and what size do you have in Burton Boots?
Good video. I rode step insss for atleast 15 yrs lol destroyed 2 boots couldnt find any more in my size and switched to straps for 2yrs till step ons came out lol
Any idea how to repair/glue the boots? Just contacted Burton to find a solution.... we'll see
I hope you continue making videos.
are you the awesome dude from the house?
I just want these boots in light grey and black for god sakes
Any suggestion for a size 14 boot riding a stiffer board?
What’s up with the audio?
I didn't realize i was watching your channel. Ive been going through the other videos wondering where you were!
I have them both....after using the Step On System I give my old Burton Board, Binding and Boots away. Tested the new system at Breck, Keystone, Vail, Heavenly and Sqauw Valley....LOVE THEM.
@GufGear Hey bro hope all is well with you. Funny thing is, our eyes are constantly seeing in rainbow 🌈 vision all day and our brain decodes it depending on the colour of what we are looking at. Keep up the great work....😎
Guff....., absolutely superb content, editing and presentation in this Video.
Guff..., this is a probably one of the best reviews I've seen. Miss your content from the House. Subscribed instantly.
No love for the custom twin? That board continues to fly under the radar.
Have been missing ya at The House. Glad I came across this here. Rock on, great to have you "back" 😉🤙
