      You would find PhD positions related to this field in websites like nature and science careers. I also talk about this in my latest video. Here is the link for that - ruclips.net/video/3A0Gn1NcH-M/видео.html
      Further, if you have some specific questions, mention them in the comment section below and I will respond to them.

    Hello Durdam! I'm from Brazil and I have a bachelors degree in Bioinformatics. What area do think gives more opportunities later on? Bioinformatics or Molecular Engenereeing. I want do my masters in germany so i currently just working and studying german.

    • @durdamscatalogue
      @durdamscatalogue  Год назад

      It Depends, both fields have very good prospects. Bioinformatics would have some more advantage and flexibility to move to higher salary positions in industry, since you can transform to Data science field easily. That has the brightest scope in next 10-15 years. But if you are interested to do wet lab work more then you should go for mol eng. Also bright prospects in industry as well as academia. But strictly comparing Bioinfo would have relatively better opportunities (again depends on your interest.)

      You need to search positions for this Master in biotechnology. Try to find positions on DAAD website. Also try to search for positions in Nature careers website or Science careers website. In the advertisement, you would find the complete process.
      Then just start your applications.

    Brother I'm new here at your channel 😊. I have a question! Brother, I'm doing BS in Biotechnology. My 4 years degree will end in 2024 and after that my plan is to move to Germany for my masters. I wanted to know which one will be best Masters in Biotechnology 🧑🏻‍🔬 or Masters in Bioinformatics 🧑🏻‍💻?

    • @durdamscatalogue
      @durdamscatalogue  Год назад

      If you like wet lab, then go for biotechnology. If you like to work with computers and have some basic knowledge of maths, go for Bioinformatics

    Aoa...biology ka kia scope ha Germany ma? and biology related jobs availability?

    • @durdamscatalogue
      @durdamscatalogue  Год назад +1

      The industry of pharmaceutical companies is huge in Germany as well as in all over Europe, so there are job opportunities. Although the job market has been affected due to the current inflation. But it would recover and things will back on track soon. But in short, yes there are very good scope of jobs in Germany for biology field.

    Sir Iam a Botanist from Pakistan ,I want to Pursue my MS in bioinformatics ,Can I do this?

    • @durdamscatalogue
      @durdamscatalogue  7 месяцев назад

      You need to check the course requirements of your university for MS bioinformatics course. Generally, if you had a math and CS course that should be sufficient. It varies from University to university. Since you have a bio background it should be possible for you to opt for bioinformatics as a master course in general.

    I am currently doing Btech in computer science and engineering . Is it possible to go masters/phd in computational biology

    • @durdamscatalogue
      @durdamscatalogue  Год назад

      If you did not have a biology background also in your high school, then it could be difficult to enter computational biology as a master student. But for PhD you can do it. You would just need to convince the professor that you know enough biology and your cs skills are sufficient. But students from your field enter into computational biology field from a mathematical modelling area of research since you have engineering background.
      All the best.

    Might be a weird question to ask, but have you got any friends there Durdam?

    • @durdamscatalogue
      @durdamscatalogue  Год назад +4

      An interesting questions. The social life in Germany is very different. People are very professional. Most of my friends are spread across Germany. In my office, I have collogues and we do sports together like mountain biking and hiking. But I would not consider them as friends because at some point it turns into club outings over the weekends which I would not enjoy so much. So for many people, they like that, and it's completely fine. But for me, I would rather go for sports in the nature rather than having beer in a pub. It's a completely personal choice.
      I hope this answers your question.

      I am not sure after B.tech you can join PhD program in Germany or Europe in general. Here they ask for master's degree. For your case I would recommend you to apply to USA. In US, they accept PhD students right after a 4 year bachelor program.
      You can find PhD positions from websites like NatureCareers or ScienceCareers. I explained this process in this video:
      ruclips.net/video/j5hE67whn4Q/видео.html
      I will release a new video next week explaining the process from scratch. So stay tuned and all the best for your applications.
