She had a beautiful voice and this was back in the day when people could sing, there were no computer enhancement, or making things sound better because of all the studio equipment, a lot of these people today couldn't carry a tune like that if their lives depended on it. Those singer back then just got in front of the mic and sang because they could sing.

This is one of the best country voices around. Patsy had so many great hits such as "She's Got You", "Walkin' After Midnight", "Sweet Dreams", "So Wrong", "Leavin' on Your Mind", "I Fall To Pieces" "San Antonio Rose", "Blue Moon Of Kentucky", "Half As Much", "He Called Me Baby", "Faded Love" etc. She was only 31 when she died in a plane crash in 1963. In 1985 Jessica Lange starred in the movie about Patsy's life called "Sweet Dreams". "Home Free" does a great cover of "Crazy".

Yeah, if you don't feel that check yourself for a pulse. One of the most iconic voices in all of country music. I have never heard anybody listening to some PC say they didn't like her voice. Great reaction, you bring such a fun element to these reactions..... it just cements a performance like this one. Thank you.

My all time favorite female singer, such a soulful, smooth, & melodic voice like no other. She was the original Queen of Country & one of the first big female stars in that genre. Before Patsy came along, country music was predominately made up of male performers. She broke down the barriers & forged a path for all female country singers to follow. She helped & befriended Loretta Lynn, when she got her first start in the business. They were best friends & after Patsy tragically died in a plane crash, Loretta honored her friend by naming one of her twin girls Patsy a year after the accident. The other twin was named after Loretta's sister, Peggy. Patsy died in 1963 at the young age of only 30 yrs old. That was 4 years before I was born, but my dad was a big fan so I heard her music while growing up. Crazy was one of her biggest hits but she had many others. A few of my top favorites are - I fall to pieces, Walkin' after midnight, She's got you, Tennessee waltz, & Your cheatin' heart. Please check out more of her classic songs, you won't be disappointed. They made a film in 1985 about her life called "Sweet Dreams" starring Jessica Lange as Patsy - great movie & definitely worth a watch!

Fun fact the song Blue which is sung by LeAnn Rimes was originally wrote for Patsy Cline to sing but unfortunately she passed away before she could sing it the man who wrote the song had held it for many decades until he found the right voice to sing it and when he heard LeAnn Rimes he said that is the one also I am patiently waiting for Brett Young singing Mercy his voice is a one-of-a-kind of his own meaning when you hear Brett young you know it is him much love to you and the keep climbing family❤❤

Bro my mother (RIP ) couldnt sing worth shit. but when she sang Patsy Cline she sounded just like her exactly! she used to sing this to me when i was young (from about 5 or 6 on) i thought it was about me maybe it was noone wants to see their kids grow up. Come to find out 3 years after her passing i found out my father was gay and had gave up who he really wanted to be for someone he had to be and she knew it. i guess she was just letting us (3 kids) know in her way she was hurting or maybe it was about us i dunno i guess we will find out in the great reunion in heaven. either way my heart melts for my momma but at the same time i respect my dad for taking care of his family and now he is free to be who he always wanted to be. I love them both and its a reminder NONE of us are perfect its how we deal out and with the love we are giving. God Bless you Rickk

Want to feel your heart breaking?? Listen to Patsy Cline sing, "Faded Love." Kills me every time I listen to her singing that song. I don't know how she could sing while crying. If Patsy was a singer starting out today, she wouldn't have a chance. I believe they would ruin her voice with auto tune.
As others have said, Patsy & Loretta Lynn were bf. Loretta did a tribute album of Patsy Cline songs in the 70s. It took Loretta a long time to record it. When she finally did, she kept crying. You can find live performances of Loretta singing Patsys songs & see how hard it was for her to talk about Patsy & sing. Patsy is who other country female singers are measure up to. It only takes one song to know & fall in love with Patsy Clines voice.

You should react to some of the old Motown hits. The supremes stop in the name of love my sister cousin and I used to stand in front of the mirror and sing and dance to this like the supremes, what great memories!!! Motown had so much great music, the temptations, Marvin Gaye and I always love some Al Green especially I’m so tired of being alone
