  • Scrappy makes a TV! This sort of two part cartoon concentrates on Scrappy’s expertise in making a Television, then switches to Scrappy and Oopy watching , on said Television, a prize fight between Max Baer (the Boxer, not the actor) and Ed Winn (the actor/ radio personality).

    It's impressive that back in 1934 they had television with multiple TV-stations!

      They did have mechanical television. It looked more like the first image of a bag, kind of dots.

    That's a stereotypical caricature of one of Max Baer Sr.'s equally famous opponents, Italian American boxer/actor Primo Carnera (there's a photo on his Wikipedia page).
    Veteran vaudevillian Ed Wynn's son is actor Keenan Wynn (Kubrick's "Dr. Strangelove...") 😁👍
