  • T3’s baggage operations were spread across four separate facilities. This meant that the new T3IB baggage handling facility was a necessary step in pooling all of the departure and arrival baggage under one roof. In addition, Heathrow had to increase its capacity.
    Vanderlande proposed an integrated solution combining hardware and software. One of the most important developments was the introduction of a baggage ‘on demand’ - or ‘pull’ - concept. Heathrow is now able to build a flight in less time, using fewer resources and less floor space.

    I love baggage system! I can do that. Where is my bags? Did they went into T5A?

    that's why, compared to many years ago, the suitcases ruin more easily because they have continuous jumps and mistreatments due to these systems.
