    Hi I bought two Perfect Pattern Sprinklers after watching your video. When I received them, I actually feel a bit disappointed. The adjustable distance is great. My problem is it leaks at Swivel Inlet. The Swivel Inlet screw is quite loose and I can see any way I can tighten it. I then watched your video again and noticed there is a small leak before you started using the sprinkler. The leak obviously reduces the water pressure so the sprinklers are less powerful as a result of the leak. Both my sprinklers have exactly the same problem with the leak at the same Swivel Inlet so it is not isolated case. Before I return them, I just want to check with you to see if this is something that you came across during your test and hopefully can be fixed. Many thanks!

      You could try reinforcing with plumbers tape.

    I had this one, loved it until the plastic gear teeth broke. It would be a solid rockstar I’d they utilized metal gears, and construction..

    What was leaking? If on a timer when off I would want no leaks.

    Hi I bought 6 of them, one used, after watching your video They are JUNK!!!
    The adjustment is pretty self explanatory and easy to follow. I ended up having to return 5 out of 6 for several reasons. Reasons from bad leakages at the heads or under the heads. During the adjustment of each one of the spray knobs they would just keep turning or strip easily. Others after adjusting them and setting them and running them for about 5 to 10 minutes I noticed that the smooth rotation turned into a skip/stop rotation. A couple of the other heads just got stuck in some position or other after 2-3 full 360 turns and then not completing their 360 rotations at all. They are JUNK!!! I love the concept but they should really try making them out of better materials so that the spray nozzles don't get stripped easily, if that is the case. To Orbit please redesign these to stop the leaking all over the place underneath the heads. I ended up being able to keep the used one which was the only one that I was able to adjust without it breaking, even though it still leaks like a crazy, but I just wanted to keep it just for giggles.

    I want to permanently mount these to the base of a fence 100ft long to cover 18ft out so I would like to configure each to water a rectangle spraying 180 degrees. can they be adjusted to do that? I realize each one would be adjusted independently depending on where the sprinkler is in line and its pressure. thanks for the video

    • @TechMadeEzy
      @TechMadeEzy  2 года назад

      I can’t picture the base of offense and how you would mount these. I think having a permanent spot for these makes sense then you don’t have to adjust them all the time.

      @@TechMadeEzy I mentioned base of the fence so no one envisioned sprinklers on the top of my 6ft tall fence :)
      I have 3 horizontal boards between my fence posts to prevent warping, the bottom one is about 1 ft up from the ground. I would us that as the attachment point for the hose and sprinklers. I can fabricate a mount, maybe 3D print it. The main question is if I could adjust each head to a rectangle. I cant easily put overlapping sprinkler heads on the other side of the lawn.

      Hi Anthony thanks for watching
      It gets the majority from what I see and as you move it to other areas you can overlap

    A couple of things so far. I am replacing a sprinkler with this because of a leak I can't stop. This one leaks and I finally figured out that it comes from the short distance knob spray hitting the knob below it. 2) I could not get it to go all the way around. At the most about a 20 ft. triangle doesn't get watered. 3) You gotta put it exactly where you set it up each time. It is a great concept, but I am not sure it is a keeper.

    I’m in need of such a device to water my odd shaped small yard. It appears to me, and please correct me if I’m wrong, that there are TWO spray nozzles at work here. The upper spray to reach further away, but also a lower spray to reach closer to the sprinkler, under the water arc. Is this correct?
    My yard-shape looks like the state of Nevada. Not a full square, but has an angled corner. I wanna put this in the “lower” corner, then adjust from short-to-long distances. But I’m concerned about dry-grass areas under the water arc. Your thoughts?
    Tony

      @TechMadeEzy  2 года назад

      Yes 2 spray nozzles closet and further, in the nozzle area it doesn’t get a small area directly under it
