Project MK7 Hits the Track for It's 1st Shakedown

After the widebody and the track aero were completed, we took the car to Volkswagen corporate to the event called Fastivus and I took Project MK7 on the track at Summit Point Raceway where I did a Shakedown of the car where I found a lot of issues that still needed to be worked on. Those lights look great even after all these years. Maybe put some PPF on them to keep them in good shape? Awesome that it worked with the regular MK7 euro tail harness. I'd replace my MK7 euro tails with 7.5, but I really like the 5 brake lights.

How will you describe the performance of the IE downpipe, being compared to others you haved previously? I have the CTS catted DP on my MK7 GTI at this time i was considering change it to the IE.

Does the giant wing really help?

Yes the fact that you can adjust the angle of attack to achieve more levels of downforce. Completely changes the way the car behaves around track. But also it’s the diffuser as well as the front splitter on the car.
