Divination is my favorite Wizard subclass. You can RP them into many different ways- private investigators trying to locate missing persons, explorers trying to find relics or artifacts, or even scholars who are trying to learn about ancient cultures. Any character that simply needs to find out answers to questions can really use this subclass in interesting ways. Loved seeing this video pop up on my feed guys! I really love the grading system and the fact that you give detailed reasoning as to why you rate things the way you do!
I'm currently roleplaying my divination wizard to be a chronomancer, in a way. My character uses the portent ability as if they're seeing a hundred futures and choosing which one that want to enact onto a person. Things like the expert divination is reminding time slightly to gain a slot back, etc.
I'm thinking about playing one where it's essential that they magically messed something up so they keep pumping divination based magic to their mind to stay alive and got some twisted benefits to being able to seem glimpses of the future and have a natural attunement to understanding divination magic. Someone about to be knocked prone? I saw this a few moments ago I'll just stand here holding this pebble to throw within 17 seconds to throw underneath his heel to make him trip. This guy is trying to lie? Let me just bump into the table while he's talking and throw him off his confidence and make him stop his act.
This is probably one of the best multiclass dips for any class. Even if you ignore all the wizard spells, which I wouldn't recommend, you still get two "get out of jail free cards" at level 2. Edit I also feel like, RP wise, this would synergize really well with an Echo Knight Fighter. Both have the theme of alternate futures.
Im currently playing a hafling divination wizard with the bountiful luck feat named lucky makes really seem like i can see the future and help the party bit i play it as tymora intervened and helped them rerolled that 1
Wizard is probably a little easier to grasp because Sorcerer has sorcery points and there are a lot of different ways to use them (or trade them in for more spell slots) let alone the actual spells themselves. Both have some extra abilities, but I would say sorcerer is a bit more complex. Thanks for watching!
"Any creature you can see" really? Stay behind with a spyglass while your bard goes up to the king? 20 the bard and 1 the king? (Technically 12+ the bard and 8- the king is more probable...)
I like this channel a lot, but might I suggest adding background music? It usually helps to cut static background noise. I'm not trying to be a pest, just trying to help

Divination wizards are probably a reason WHY boss monsters have legendary resistances.
Divination + lucky + halfling = the reason the DM has to take anger management

Wizard is also more forgiving if you choose a bad spell because you get more and can even add ones found.
