- We discuss the next subclass in the series from the Player's Handbook: the School of Transmutation Wizard! This subclass gets some interesting abilities... find out what we think of this subclass! We are going to be going over each subclass ability then rating each subclass on Roleplay Value, Combat Value, and Overall Class Synergy. We have a very special rating system as well!

Roleplay value is tremendous. More than combat value. If your a smith it's invaluable. Imagine taking wood turn it to silver and pour it in a shield mold or make an armor mold and pour it in. You just created molded wood armor for druids. Melt a 1/2 pound of iron turn wood into iron and feed it into the melted iron about 4 1/2 pounds, 5 pounds total, stir well, and pour into a mold. You just created a 5 lbs of iron reinforced wood that can be poured into an armor mold for extra strength. Money maker 101 take twigs turn into silver make a nice long straight trough pour in melted silver pour water over it to cool and drop concentration. Cut to length Smooth the rough edges add tips you have just super speed made wood arrows out of scrap wood. And you only need something to melt silver in. Roleplay potential is extremely good. Need I go on. This is second level. Add being a wizard on top of this and have a built in reputation for success. Druids will seek you out to make armor. They will not wear metal armor, but wooden variations reinforced with a little metal would be great. And yes they will and can wear studded leather. So a little metal goes a long way. And the 3d10 age reversal to give people a more prosperous life even if it does not extend life, its worth more than making another philosophers stone. Preparing to go to war in three days your general is to young and the previous general is to old, he retired 10 years ago. He tells you 10 years ago I might would have helped but now I'm to settled in my bones to even sit a horse. Well you know how to fix that, and even if it takes 2 days that's the stone you have, rest make new stone and use it also and make new stone and boom wars on, you have your best general and he is very grateful and now so are the people. They now have a higher moral going into this and seeing that you are in it for them to win.
me and my group had some homebrew spells and one of them came in use when the wizard got knocked prone and was about to be sliced by a sword but he rolled a nat 20 on his reaction hit and he clapped both sides of the blade and turned it into cloth, turning the steel sword into a hilt with a rag hanging down and then he just shocking grasped the guy who attacked him to unconsciousness.
