Man, gotta love quick feeds. That wrap was FULL! Nala and the beans is very relatable. Brown lentils might be less noticeable but 4 yearolds are actually microscopes so it might not make a difference.
Puree the beans/lentils and chuck it in when they're not looking 😜

I’m a grown woman but I want to be adopted into your family. This does look more strange in writing than it sounded in my head 🙃. The girls are so cute, and the pup is awesome! You and your wife have made such a warm and loving home for your children!

Never thought a Baby (Nala) from the “Wild” would be such a Food Diva.
I love how the girls help out! People these days seem to be afraid of letting their kids near a stove but it is unrealistic and unnecessary bubble wrapping. You live life as we used to “back in the day”, all hands on deck, embracing rather than fearing the realities of everyday living.
At a very early age I gave my son a small paring knife and he loved to use it alongside me and my big knife, and I pulled a stool up to the stove so he could stir the pan. Now he is grown and enjoys cooking for himself and others!

A tip to keep your tortillas soft and thus less likely to break when rolling them is to place a damp towel over them when microwaving. Keep it on top until you are ready to start "wapping."

My brother makes burritos for the freezer and they are delicious. He thaws them overnight in the fridge and then reheats them in a frying pan until heated through. I loved this video. It is full of healthy food, happy smiles and plenty of family fun. Choc is one lucky dog.

The girls are so grown. 😭 Feels just like last week when we released the baby into the wild. 😭
Our mince is all the same with a small addition of stock paste/powder.
And yes I'd recommend lentils instead of beans for younger kids. I mash up the lentils into the raw mince whenever I make sausage rolls too.

Your girls are beautiful! When my 3 were little, I used to add extra veggies into spaghetti sauce! (just chop very fine) Gotta love 4 year olds!😋

Yes, waps are the best quick feeds. My parents used to make it all the time and now I do it too if you can't be bothered to cook.
Put a little less food inside and make a few more, also get a pan nice and hot add some butter and fry the outside! I wrap mine up putting some cheese on the last bit so it works like glue and then make them nice n crunchy! My kids LOVE LOVE LOVE breakfast burritos, just some scrambled eggs a bit of salsa and some cheese, fry up and they can eat in the car! (CAUTION! Salsa can be runny, use sparingly if you're taking them in the car!)
Great work HTD. Lovely family too, wonderful to hear so much laughter and fun in the kitchen. You're setting them up well for a great future with food like that and the family kitchen associated with joyful times. Gotta ask though IS your dog actually called Chop? Or did l mishear? 😁

I have a problem with wraps... most of it ends up in my lap. When that happens, the dog thinks that the spillage is for him. Which is bad enough... but the dog is an Irish Wolfhound. You see the danger? Wraps... definitely not worth losing your tackle over.
Set a second wrap on the plate and eat over it so when it falls out, second wrap.

We love waps in this house! Toss a couple chicken nuggets in with some ranch dressing, cheese and lettuce and tada! Chicken "wanch" waps 👍
We love wraps here in ALABAMA US ! Try instead of all the veg. , put cooked meat, beans, cheese mixture with seasonings on wrap, fold and grill on hot skillet until wrap is golden! Yummers! So good. Server with sour cream

Little ones & even bigger ones can be quite a challenge to feed. My little niece wouldn't eat anything green in soup. I used the fact that we'd always be playing games & being silly to my, & actually her, advantage. We, ofc(!), needed to find out if she had the amazing skill of eating with her eyes closed as I fed her. She sure did...& I told her she'd even eaten some "green things" as she performed her magnificence. Wasn't an issue after that :)

Worcestershire Sauce pronunciation guide (by an Aussie who used to live in Worcestershire) - Wuss Ter Shur sauce (Wuss to rhyme with Puss, Ter to rhyme with Her and Shur to rhyme with Purr).
Worcestershire sauce needs a new name as it’s too difficult to say and no one can ever say it correctly! I think “Meat Yum Sauce” is much easier😉
