- Jose Manuel Carrera and his son Alan Carrera have been awarded the first street vendor business license in Clark County, allowing them to sell aguas frescas at outdoor events without fear of police interference.
plain and simple. others are NOT getting licenses because they know they will be shut down from health inspections. why people even go to eat at the taco stands is a surprise to me. they have no running water or restrooms to keep clean and no refrigeration for any of the meats.
That and they don't want to be accountable to the IRS….
imagine the female/male needs to take a piss behind the telephone pole think they will wash their hands.
I dont eat there
all health departments around the country are worthless. they are under staffed and under funded. they simply cant ever inspect all the food handling companies. do you think that a family owned small operation will check temperatures or wash their hands when required. never,i worked in a big grocery store for 30 years we saw videos on how to be sanitary wash our hands and keep food safe, we never had time to do anything. every person in this country eats bacteria laced food every day its a crap shoot as to whether you get sick. just use common sense and eat where you want is my advice, dont assume the health department is going to keep you safe, they wont/cant.
who`s going to shut them down? surely not the police or the under funded health dept without any field agents. they get caught its just a quick trip to the safety of our friends in Old Mexico.
Good for that guy getting the license. He works hard and went through the process.
Right! I agree.
license sounds good, but the health departments all over the country are under funded/staffed so like most if not all business that provide food never get inspected on a regular basis. street vendors are especially hard to check. go to Mexico,Asia etc better have you shots and plenty of barf bags.
@@frankdillon6127 meanwhile you continue to eat your pedigree from your local Taco Bell
@@TarumpSadiki my point was there isnt a place to eat in this country that's perfectly safe not a health dept anywhere with the funding to check food establishments. so i just suck it up like you do and eat at Taco Bell. haven't had food poisoning more than twice and I'm 80 years old. people who go abroad can say that.
Visit them at Dean Martin/Cactus Ave! Reward them for following the law! I’ll be visiting them tomorrow.
I don't really eat at vendors but this is just a big money grab by the state it's all about money the state wants to take these vendors money
free enterprise is not free
Illegally eating crap 😘😍🇲🇽🤑
If they have a health card, and get inspected, these people are just people at legitimate work, and all im gonna ask is please keep it clean, people. But a street vendor selling food or being inspected, you should be grateful they check those out for us.
who checks these people? the health department only check about 10% of the food handling operations,no agents or funding. just eat where you want and keep your fingers crossed and toilet paper close by.
Denise is looking so good lately with her long hair❤❤❤ keep up the beautiful look🥰
well sorry about that, though sh%t, how about all the legal mom an pop stores that pay the fees. its not easy to be a legal business owner, why should these questionable street people be given a break?
Competition exists everywhere mobile mechanics huge shop with over head as long it’s legal and licensed and provides the legitimate service and pays taxes
Nothing hits like illegal 🌮

Everybody forgets about 1933 what happened do you Brave illegal aliens
I see that the Internet cafe at Slab City is still up 😂
Taco stand at westcliff and durango, tacos de lengua just so disgusting meat was rotten, health department needs to inspect that place
it happened at Don Tortaco a couple of years back!!! A friend ordered a beef taco. She took one bite and said it tasted gross! ordered another one and it was good. that location, at Fremont and Eastern, used to taste good, but around the end of the pandemic, it started going downhill. it is just a poor man's Roberto's.
How can you sue them? If you get sick…
Congratulations!
Imagine being a restaurant owner nearby these roadside carts? Down the tubes goes your business slow but sure
