They would even tell us to never say “sorry” “my apologies” or anything along those lines when a customer is angry from being wronged. They do not want any liability for anything, even if they did do something wrong. They couldn’t care less. When there is a lawsuit, they will just put the blame on somebody else. Right, Americans aren't capable of doing these type tasks and one state knows it already and prevents self service gas stations. Laws should say all product exchanges in stores, gas stations, EV recharging as a payment card has to be used, purchase of tickets etc. should all be required to go thru properly trained cashiers that do whatever activities necessary, This will also reduce people on welfare due to the large number of people necessary and the great increase in employment will add lots of taxes to the governments while reducing welfare costs.

About 10 yrs ago, while shopping in grocery section of Walmart, I noticed a man seemed to be on every aisle I went down .. I didnt become alarmed until I left the grocery section to go to shampoo etc area.. when he showed up, across the store, going down each aisle I was on, I was alarmed ...I began looking for an employee and found 2 standing together.. I explained that I was being followed by some man and needed someone to walk me to my car ..right at that moment, the guy walked into view so I said "there he is!" and pointed him out ..they just stood there staring at me, not saying a word ...I said "um hello..that man is following me" and they said "he works here"
I questioned this since he had no badge or anything identifying as an employee and why would he be all creepy and follow me? Again, they just stood there, with mouths slightly opened, and never responded to my questions.
It wasnt until later that I found out the man was some sort of loss prevention employee... I still feel like he was a creepy guy.
I will do almost anything not to shop at Walmart. I have panick attacks and Walmart seems to trigger them ...Im pretty sure I get them because of the horrid lighting, the big space but crowed aisles, the atmosphere is uninviting and negative. Not sure if i can accuratly explain it, but I start to feel like I cant breath.

exculpatory evidence routinely, so that they can railroad people through the legal system and they do this because they have prosecutorial immunity. That needs to change. The laws that govern what a corporation is and isn't liable for, directly reflect how they have to operate.

Meanwhile my cousin’s 2 year old little cousin did something similar at Walmart and she didn’t know about it till they got home, so she called Walmart up and the guy on the phone told her not to return the item, even if it’s just to pay for it because according to store policy they’d have to mugshot her son and display it on the bulletin board for everyone to see that he’s a “thief”, file a police report against him and possibly press formal charges, and ban him from the store for life... The only time they would need to show the video is at a court hearing. She wasn't accused of stealing 1 or 2 things. She stole several items to include Christmas lights. She won the lottery when Walmarts rep didn't show up to court. For all we know the rep may have hated his job and decided not to show.
The accused did what any sane person would do and asked that the charges to be dropped. The court figured the Walmart rep didn't care enough to show so their isn't a case therefore ruled "not guilty" by default.
She had a legal rep that saw this as an opportunity to sue the crap out of Walmart. She was more than likely guilty of stealing being it was multiple items but ends up with a massive payday due to Walmart legal rep that happened to not show that particular day.

The true gospel is the good news that God saves sinners. Man is by nature sinful and separated from God with no hope of remedying that situation. But God, by His power, provided the means of man’s redemption in the death, burial, and resurrection of the Savior, Jesus Christ.
      Ephesians 2:8-9
For it is by grace you have been saved through faith. And this is not your own doing; it is the gift of GOD, not a result of works, so that no one may boast.

Their checkers aren't very friendly but I can see why working for Walmart. They never have enough checkers and don't care if people are lined up to the middle of the store. If you have ice cream its melted by the time you get home.

I worked there too and nothing is worse for employee morale than 4 different assistant managers making rounds to your department and telling you 4 different things to do at once, all the while getting mad and threatening to write you up because you do not possess the ability to clone 4 of you to do the work on one paycheck. I quit while I still had my dignity.

I was accused of stealing at Walmart when I was 15. My brother just got his first pay check and wanted to get me something nice. I picked a beautiful white dress. He also insisted on stockings and shoes as well. They took us into the back room, dumped out my purse on the floor and then took our items out of the bags and threw them on the floor as well. When I said, “Aw my pretty little dress 😢” the guy said, “huh? This shitty little dress?” Then stepped on it and told me I could pick it up and that he’d wait. Obviously he didn’t find anything. Even after practically making my brother strip down! Then told us to leave and not come back. They sent me a letter to pay $300 or they press criminal charges. I was young and scared so I begged my grandma to help me pay it. Walmart is and will always be trash 🗑
In my mind, my money is hers now. I’m glad it’s going to good use. Even if it’s 13 years later

Hearing these horror stories of Walmart makes me feel good that my dad never took me and my brother to Walmart.
We stuck to Kroger, target and fiesta.
Walmart seems to be taking advantage of the anxiety people get when accused of crimes. It’s also funny how Walmart employees and security do nothing when a person walks through the door and the alarm goes off but love to accuse people who paid and have a bag and receipt of theft 😬

When I was a Police Officer we had a Walmart in our City. Walmart always thought they were above the law. When I had calls there for shop lifting. I would not cite or arrest until I saw the video of the person shop lifting. If I didn’t see a person shop lift. I would tell the loss prevention person that they could get the person’s information and go to the courthouse and take out a criminal summons (NOT A WARRANT) but a criminal summons for the person they are accusing. I never arrested just on hearsay. Again! Walmart thinks they are above the law because they are so big. Thank GOD the jury saw the truth and awarded this woman what she got.

Have faith in JESUS CHRIST as LORD and SAVIOR for HE SAVES from hell❗️
      *What is the Gospel?*
      Romans 10:9
9 because, if you confess with your mouth that Jesus is Lord and believe in your heart that God raised him from the dead, you will be saved.
      JESUS CHRIST can come anytime!
Just Believe ❤️ Love you and GOD BLESS

That genuinely happens all the time and is an honest mistake.
I make sure I keep that stuff in the cart because I would 100% forget it, and I'm a 30 year old man.
Somebody at checkout should have caught it, I worked at a grocery store and they trained cashiers to ask, in a non confrontational manner, if there's anything under the cart.
I blame Walmart more than the elderly woman you're talking about, I'm certain she would have left it in the cart in the parking lot as well!
