Just received my new TX and I love it. thanks Jeff for showing the outside lights. I have been wondering about it. I love when I open the door, the word Lexus appears on the ground, which the kids get a kick out of. The TX looks amazing and it has luxury detail every where, one expects from Lexus. It drives incredibly well and its quiet. ( I would give it a 99%, The only thing I wish they had add was the speed sign recognition (SSR), where the car identifies a speed limit sign below the set speed, it automatically adjusts the vehicle speed down (It's about the only thing Ford does well). Though it has Adaptive cruise control, which keeps you at a set distance from the car in front of you, the SSR is better, especially when going up and down curvy mountains. Other than that, well done Lexus, it is a beautiful car, and I love the third row, with the adult well, Works great for getting all my grown up grandkids in .
That ambient lighting is not acceptable for a vehicle with this price tag. As others pointed out this suv is more of a Toyota than Lexus and doesn’t justify the price gap.
I wish they hadn't moved so many primary controls to the touchscreen. You shouldn't have to use a screen to turn on seat heaters, or the heated steering wheel, or adjust the fan speed. It should be with buttons and knobs that you can commit to muscle memory so you can keep your eyes on the road. The Toyota it is based on has better controls.
Please leave a comment about Lexus TX, your favorite kind of car, or just to say Hi! The algorithm loves comments and "Likes" lol. Jeff
Do you know if the ambient lighting extends to the upper portion of the dash? It seems to do that in the RX.
Finally someone made a night look of the TX.. Jeff you a hero 🎉🎉🎉 I been looking all over not one solid video on YT
Lexus is Really doing and Amazing work with thier Vehicles
Disappointed it doesn't have RX style ambient lighting for the dashboard
The ambient lighting is really cool. I didn't know you can change colors or customize your selection. Back lit buttons is another nice feature.
Backlit buttons have been around for decades!
Thank you id been searching for this video
Awesome glad I could help you

Do you know if the exterior handles are lit?
I wish they use v6 on all models an lithium battery.
Very simple .
I can barely see the ambient lights
That's how they should be. Though it'd be nice if it had some on the dash
Lexus needs to learn from Mercedes on ambient lighting!
Honestly TX don’t look luxury, more look alike a Toyota.
No ambient light, no adaptive headlight 🤦♂️
Looks so cheap compare to the prior Lexus vehicle
No ambient lighting?! I dont think i can go back to a car without it!
