This video is the second part of the oxycontin story. My addiction was getting worse by the day. I started needing hundreds of dollars of oxy a day just to feel somewhat normal.
The people who I was getting high with all started using heroin because it's so much cheaper and the government started to regulate oxycontin.
Like so many others, my addiction progressed from oxycontin and painkillers to heroin...

Money was never the issue which is worse. Spent over 5000 a month on heroin and oxy. Horrible! 😮 love your vids you explain things so well keep helping people thx!
I was hooked on Oxys they ran out and i could no longer get them. Never once did i think let me shoot up heroin.
He prob wasn’t shooting up at first just snorting just like oxy and the high is similar

You should hear my story ...they put timers on medicine safes because of me 😂 25 years ago ... Crazy times but definitely learned a lot more than most .
Lmao a lot of ppl I know did it too most were actually successful and never got caught up. Just flooding the city w everything in one day 😂
In the uk we get codamol over the counter and we can cold water extract like 250 mg worth of codeine from one box that costs about 3 dollars

All i can think is the things we did to maintain ur addiction were crazy
I did pills for 10 years and never once was down to try heroine. I would lay there and withdrawal until I could get a pill or money for it. I never wanted a bag of something that I didn't k ow what was in it or how strong it was. I just don't really understand the whole excuse it's cheaper or whatever. It's a decision that is made to go and do the heroine. I guess it doesn't scare some people enough to not do that just because they can't get the pills.
Didn’t they reformulate OC OxyContin to be inert abuse resistant OP OxyContin in 2010 which led to people flocking to Perc 30 Roxi’s? I remember those were flying around my high school like candy in my senior year in 2012. I saw several friends then switch to Roxi’s and then a few finally to heroin so quickly because of the $1 per mg price. Then of the few of those that switched to heroin, most are now gone.
Yea that’s exactly what happened. But there were still some countries and people who had oc saved up and sold those for years after. But even the new op aren’t fully temper prooof.

2017 the 30s were 20 bucks 🥹 idk what happened got locked for 2 yrs and the prices were insane when I came home, probably a good thing for me
At my worst i was doing 30 Norco a day. I was able to wean down once to meet a girl, but when she broke up with me i went back on the drugs. Finally I ran out of money and my only option would've been to steal and buy heroin on the street. I was too chicken shit to do that so i spent the summer of 2006 on my couch unable to eat or sleep and got clean. I've been prescribed lortabs after some surgeries and was able to take them as prescribed and stopped. I'm never going through that hell ever again.
I wrote a book called "Pillstorm" 10 yrs ago and couldn't get it published by any no-fiction publishers (partly my fault not hitting more than 10 publishers). Anyway, I did a large portion on Oxy since I had dependence with it 30 yrs ago for decades after a serious car accident, and I am a clinician with 50 yrs of medical experience. It was the most difficult drug to taper. PS: Did you take heroin IV, IM or other (snort or smoke)?
