Gonna miss Netflix’s gritty down to earth boxing choreography but I really love the acrobatics they are bringing to Daredevils physicality-that is a big plus.
I'm gonna miss it too but if they somehow reveal it's the same one from the Netflix series, it would make sense for Matt to be skilled enough by now to efficiently knock his opponents down in one move.

He’s also generally more like this in the comics. I, like everyone else, love the Netflix adaptation because it shows Matt at his lowest when dealing with the more grounded, darker crime he fights as well as how he stumbles through tragedy and he definitely goes through it in the books too. But when he’s NOT miserable, he’s actually as charming in costume as he is when he’s just himself and his sense of humor when fighting bad guys is like, 70% on or with Spider-Man’s. It’s nice to see, at least as far as we know because we don’t know what his life has been like since the series ended aside from No Way Home, Matt’s at a point in his life where he can ease up on being too serious all the time and ENJOY being Daredevil for a change and embrace his more care free side while still maintaining a level of calm professionalism since he’s been at the hero gig a lot longer than Jen
Daredevil’s physicality while fighting has always been one of the best parts of the show. Add Charlie Cox to the mix and I’m just glad to get more Daredevil. Disney’s show could suck, but as long as those two aspects stay intact, there will be something to enjoy from the show.

Hulk wasn’t phased because he is the freaking Hulk and his is a lot more powerful then DD. Jen just did the same exact mini clap she did before, she only did it once because if she spammed the clap against DD, he could’ve died since he is not of the same strength as Hulk. Anyone complaining about how he's depicted here should be directed to the Mark Waid/Paolo Rivera/Chris Samnee run (which is one of the best). Matt uses humor as a coping mechanism for his depression. Plus, the end of his Netflix series had him finally ready to let his friends in and enjoy life for a change. This is a natural progression of his character. People should be happy for how far he's come.

Yeah they could’ve easily gotten his stunt double to do some of the flips and somersaults. It’s especially unnecessary when he’s just running (0:42) that looked weird.
I haven't seen She hulk but I'm glad to see more Daredevil. The Chrography. I like how they have him do more acrobatics here. And I initially felt like the bantering. I.e. "My ass remains unwhooped" line didn't feel like the MCU/Netflix series Daredevil but when I think about it, it's not unreasonable that he's more lighthearted dealing with a fellow hero in a misunderstanding as opposed to the unscrupulous types he's usually up against.
I mean, netflix daredevil was sarcastic, and he was always on the verge of death when fighting criminals, this time he is seen with more confidence and experience
Honestly, the music in the background is very she hulk theme based. So it changes the tone. If he would of said that with with no music in the background its no different to the netflix daredevil
And let's not forget that Matt finally found redemption and peace after so much suffering in the end of S3, that fact that he is much more optimistic is actually a good sign
Honestly I really like the Netflix version of Karen Page, Deborah Ann Woll really nailed the role. Now Marvel Studios' version doesn't seem to extend Matt's relationship with her, so I hope to see her again in future episodes…
I am so tired of people hating on the CGI, Marvel VFX artists are some of the most overworked in the industry, their deadlines are crazy from what i understand. The fact they consistently turn out work at this level is pretty incredible.

So what does Disney and Marvel need to do to make good CGI again? Stop overworking their VFX artists and lean more on quality over quantity.

On the one hand I miss seeing Matt fight the way he does by way of the Netflix show. But on the other, Daredevil has acrobatic skill that is often compared favorably to Spider-Man so it's nice to see him hit some flips.

I think the only thing that REALLY bothered me in this episode was his fight choreography in the final goon scene. He kicked 6 or 7 of them in the exact same way and they all knocked out. I think it would've been better to see him do varied kicks (with flips) like we saw in daredevil, rather than just that simple front kick. This may have to do with lack of a stunt double or maybe just because its been so long since the actual show, and they need some time to get back in shape for those types of kicks. Either way, I'm glad that DareDevil's return is much better than what I expected it to be, and I'm looking forward to Born Again.

it's not so much that's he "better", it's that the MCU operates under a bigger budget and has now established that normal humans can do things real humans can't The Netflix series tried to keep things to a "realistic" level. Now that Daredevil is more in line with the MCU "he's operating under the "it's possible for people to move like in Shang Shi" logic

everything he did in this scene is things people in the real world can't do. MCU operates under both comic book physics and action movie physics, where even normal people without super powers (Daredevil has no enhanced strength or durability) can do and survive things we can't this has been the tone in Marvel/DC comics from the get go, MCU included.
Can I just say, seeing Daredevil get the better mcu cgi treatment is awesome (plus, Jen looked great too) especially considering that even though he did a lot of stunts and whatnot in his show, I also really wanted to see similar stuff to the Ben Afflect Daredevil with his acrobatics and parkour.
Yikes. What a terrible take. Over reliance on CGI is a red flag that indicates laziness. This CGI is absolutely terrible and is extremely noticeable. I’ll use No Way Home as an example to compare bad CGI and good CGI. The fight between Green Gobby and Spider-Man in both the apartment and at the end blends actual stunt work blended CGI to retain realism. They do the exact opposite here and went full on CGI that makes it look worse than a fan film.

Daredevil in the comics, is sarcastic and has great sense of humor, doesn’t take away from his seriousness. All superhero’s break a few bones and cars
Anyone complaining about how he's depicted here should be directed to the Mark Waid/Paolo Rivera/Chris Samnee run (which is one of the best). Matt uses humor as a coping mechanism for his depression. Plus, the end of his Netflix series had him finally ready to let his friends in and enjoy life for a change. This is a natural progression of his character. People should be happy for how far he's come.

He just overcame a massive depression in Season 3. It looks more like he just came out of Season 3’s events or a couple months after Season 3 and is just enjoying life. I don’t know if there’s a DD comic out there where Matt’s actually HAPPY, but I’d love to know!

I haven't seen She hulk but I'm glad to see more Daredevil. The Chrography. I like how they have him do more acrobatics here. And I initially felt like the bantering. I.e. "My ass remains unwhooped" line didn't feel like the MCU/Netflix series Daredevil but when I think about it, it's not unreasonable that he's more lighthearted dealing with a fellow hero in a misunderstanding as opposed to the unscrupulous types he's usually up against.
I mean, netflix daredevil was sarcastic, and he was always on the verge of death when fighting criminals, this time he is seen with more confidence and experience
Honestly, the music in the background is very she hulk theme based. So it changes the tone. If he would of said that with with no music in the background its no different to the netflix daredevil
And let's not forget that Matt finally found redemption and peace after so much suffering in the end of S3, that fact that he is much more optimistic is actually a good sign

On the one hand I miss seeing Matt fight the way he does by way of the Netflix show. But on the other, Daredevil has acrobatic skill that is often compared favorably to Spider-Man so it's nice to see him hit some flips.
I swear if the daredevil show is all cgi like this I will flip. The actual show was good because of how grounded and real it was. I don't recall any cgi during fight scenes in the netflix show

I think the only thing that REALLY bothered me in this episode was his fight choreography in the final goon scene. He kicked 6 or 7 of them in the exact same way and they all knocked out. I think it would've been better to see him do varied kicks (with flips) like we saw in daredevil, rather than just that simple front kick. This may have to do with lack of a stunt double or maybe just because its been so long since the actual show, and they need some time to get back in shape for those types of kicks. Either way, I'm glad that DareDevil's return is much better than what I expected it to be, and I'm looking forward to Born Again.

Can I just say, seeing Daredevil get the better mcu cgi treatment is awesome (plus, Jen looked great too) especially considering that even though he did a lot of stunts and whatnot in his show, I also really wanted to see similar stuff to the Ben Afflect Daredevil with his acrobatics and parkour.
Yikes. What a terrible take. Over reliance on CGI is a red flag that indicates laziness.
This CGI is absolutely terrible and is extremely noticeable. I’ll use No Way Home as an example to compare bad CGI and good CGI.
The fight between Green Gobby and Spider-Man in both the apartment and at the end blends actual stunt work blended CGI to retain realism.
They do the exact opposite here and went full on CGI that makes it look worse than a fan film.
This clip does two things for me:
1- Reminds me I was right to skip She-Hulk
2- Makes me wanna watch more Daredevil
