In a stable rmbk reactor the controll rods dont pop up and down. This one, like in chernobyl, reached critical mass and cannot be stopped, ultimatly leading to an explosion, exposing the core.

This is not even an RBMK Reactor. This is how to get the Reactor lid caps to jump.
The reactor itself is faaaaaar more complex than this, and needs mods (if there is one for this)
