IIRC I saw an interview where he explained that at first it was kind of annoying always being associated with Luke but he understood that it was so important for a lot of people and that whether he wanted or not "HE" was important for a lot of people and the best thing he could do is accept that fact and play along.

As a child, I was a big fan of the dual sabers, double sabers, and Asajj's split-able sabers. Now, I played through Fallen Order and am playing Jedi Survivor almost exclusively with one blade. Something about it just feels more elegant and like a Jedi power flex.
Maybe it was the introduction of those goofy ass Inquisitor sabers that make as much mechanical sense as disconnecting the barrel from a gun to shoot around a corner.
Actually in cannon legends luke master all forms and actually use two lightsabers one short to fight a enemy with a whip
Correct me if I’m wrong; Jedi mostly tend toward a single saber to show their dedication to peace and that it’s more than just a powerful weapon but a tool in the hands of the right individuals, dual wielding forms are considered very aggressive, and the staff too but better for defensive forms.

It is said that she is a Mary Sue, but she is not since once second of her training is infinite times harder than an average Jedi’s journey to Knighthood, including Anakin’s journey also. Her struggles and life is grueling, and Rey has suffered the most compared to Anakin Skywalker, even as a little girl, Rey suffered infinite times harder than Anakin’s whole life, including when he was Darth Vader.
