honestly if they made this into a separate continuity alongside the main one it could save the disney universe for me. most of the sequel stuff sucks but everything we've gotten that takes place before it has been good imo so I know they can write good stories when they aren't connected to the bad worldbuilding and setting of the sequels
That's a _very_ good point. Anakin's eyes not *fully* turning yellow-orange until _after_ Obi-Wan refuses to help. That would imply that Obi-Wan had one last chance to save Anakin, and he messed it up. "Help me, Master!" "No." **Anakin's eyes finally finish turning into the Sith orange/yellow** *"I HATE YOU!"*
I like the concept of Anakin not becoming Vader because Anakin has always been my favorite character since I was a kid and episode 2 came out. I will say Vader is the most iconic part of Star Wars and even people who have told me they haven’t watched the films can describe Vader.
I want a What If series but specifically not one made by Disney. I don’t need to know the answer to “what if Anakin Skywalker was a black, transgender lesbian” or “what if the empire wasn’t run by white men” 😂 I would love it to be a community project, like a podcast or something, where different star wars content creators get together in a podcast format and discuss a “what if” prompt and then the story they collectively come up with gets animated and posted in the style of TCW. That would be awesome.
In the original time-line , Yoda was just as responsible for the slaughter of the jedi as Anakin was . The priestesses of the Wills showed Yoda a vision of the destruction of the jedi by the clones , but he kept it to himself and didn't tell anyone . Plus Anakin went to him for guidance about his visions and Yoda wrote them off and told Anakin to rejoice that his friend was going to die ( and to not mourn or miss her . ) So from a certain point of view , he was more responsible than Anakin.
I think Yoda eventually realised this but I'm not sure that he would have accepted this so soon. Anakin's slaughter of the younglings would have been still fresh and I can't see Yoda training him.
@lordofpain3476 remember that Yoda was mourning the death of his former padwan, Dooku, who had been killed by Anakin. His words may have been more to himself than to Anakin.
Srsly though Yoda, Windu and the rest of the Jedi made so many bad decisions it's almost incomprehensible the dark side clouded their vision to the point where they were essentially blind to everything happening around them and likely caused multiple lapses in judgement.
Anakin: Help me! Obi Wan: If I do that, the original Trilogy can't come to pass! Anakin: Understandable. Have a nice day... Oh, wait, I'm a Sith now. I HATE YOU!
This was a well thought out video. You gotta do a Part 2 cuz of Sidious escaping to the Unknown Regions. Maybe Sidious will run into Abeloth or the Vong and there won't be a need for part 2
Screw a short form sequel - let's see this reworked to be a 20 part series, then bring in your sequel idea as a similarly long video series. This hasn't even scratched the surface on what could be and what's been covered feels like the plot synopsis of a must-see movie!
Can I just say that… that was absolutely fantastic to watch and so much detail was put into this whilst also keeping in touch with the originals ❤ thank you for putting this together, kinda wish this was what actually happened!
What if Anakin didn't willingly fall to the dark side but was being controlled by an inhibitor chip Palpatine implanted as a contingency plan in case he couldn't turn Anakin to the dark side, everything goes the same as in episode 3 with no one knowing the truth but at some point between the end of revenge of the sith and the end of a new hope the chip somehow gets disabled or removed
@@timonsolus I'm thinking it could happen after a severe injury he sustains on a mission where he requires surgery, Palps uses his influence to get the doctors to agree. Could also be soon after he becomes a jedi, possibly Anakin has the transmitter chip he mentions the phantom menace
Wrote a fan fiction with this concept. I never posted it as I never finished the ending, but I had Anakin getting fitted with an inhibitor chip when he was still a boy. Palpatine offered Anakin to get his slave chip removed, but Palpatine secretly added the control chip. Then, he activated it with a certain phrase, same as the clones. The control chip was discovered by Ahsoka. She kept having dreams/visions of Anakin crying out for help, stuck in this black box. As Anakin’s and Ahsoka’s bond was so strong, and not tainted by distrust, like his bond with Obi-Wan, Ahsoka was the one to save him.
This is definitely the decision obi wan should have made, and he paid the price for his actions. he knew anikin being the one to bring balance, he knew what he should have done, and it was this. 🫡🫡🫡 Love your take on it. Awesome job! 🫡🫡🫡
@TyroneShulaces the only redemption for Star Wars from the Dis-canon would be making the EU into watchable existence. Let us fans decide which is the REAL Canon.
Wow, what a powerful story and the best "what if" scenario I've ever seen. I must admit your creativity, attention to detail and Star Wars lore is profound. This is probably the best redemption for Anakin that I've ever viewed. It would have been excellent to see Obi Wan save Anakin from the despair of being villainous. But we all love Darth Vader and without what happened we would not have this iconic character. You are truly talented and know that aside from being a good storyteller, this is an exceptional rendition.
We do not all love Vader. I ache for him and have always. It’s the saddest love story in my opinion. This is canon to me and episodes 4, 5 and 6 are fallacies
I think this is your best one. Great story telling and thanks for that. But Anakin did bring balance to the force just not how we wanted him to as at the time the light was strong and dark was very small at the time. Everyone wants him to be all hero and bring the light back to what it once was but truly not what he was made for. But i do think him doing what Revan did with light and dark in balance could happen. But like it or not Anakin Skywalker did for fill his destiny.
The nice thing about this alternative story is that anikans way of learning and applying balance more than dogmatic use of purely the light reflects what canon qui gon jin did and was. He wasn't a "pure" jedi, rather a servant of the force which he was guided by.
😎👍Very totally wonderfully cool and very nicely greatly fabulously spectaculary well done and executed in every detail way shape and format provided by you indeed Sir!👌.
This is how you write a Star Wars story. This alternate dimension would've also made for a good movie had been the canon, very well written. I liked the addition of Maul and what he did in the story, a nice twist and it made him more dynamic. Would love to see a continuation of this. The only thing is I would've liked to see more of Obi Wan and to know what happened to him in the end
Ive learned one thing recently that makes me believe anakin can be saved. Knowledge. Knowledge that one can grow and move beyond a painful event even one that caused others deep pain or death
Very nice plot twists. Yoda's understanding of his own faults leading to one of the most crucial turning points was the hook I bit on. Didn't regret it in from there to the end. Good ideas, good thoughts. I can agree totally with this alternative timeline, the best I saw during the last years. Perhaps even George Lucas would admit it... Thank you very much!
Anakin had already crossed far too many lines. The good guys are not always required to show mercy in all cases. Sometimes, leaving someone to a fate they have already earned many times over, is in fact poetic justice.
You’re correct that the prequel trilogy depicted Anakin’s character in a type of light opposite to how Vader was presented in the original trilogy. The tale and characterizations in the originals was written in the form of “black and white,” so to speak, whereas the prequels exemplified the proverb that “there are two sides to every story.” It heavily emphasized that how a blind adherence to the code and forbidding of family are not ideal. I also concur with you that the very thing that Anakin direly needed after the separation from Shmi and the demise of Qui-Gon was a father figure, which the Jedi Council failed to provide. Instead of Yoda, Mace, Obi-Wan or any Jedi Master, it was Palpatine, a Sith, who filled that void, which influenced Anakin’s mentality and enticed him towards the dark side. His relationship with Obi-Wan was more brotherly than parental, as he himself said so. Anakin didn’t need a brother.
I don’t think Obi-Wan this is how I’ve always seen it and looking at the angle of things I could be wrong. I’ve never seen it as Obi-Wan leaving Anakin for Dad. Because I remember in the light saber duel, there’s a part where they strike something it’s even if you play the Star Wars video game the newest one or the Lego Star Wars they make it clear they hit something. it causes a meltdown which adds a challenge well somewhat of a challenge for kids in the new Lego Star Wars game so maybe our iPhones seen that since I played that game and I watched a movie recently I was thought that he thought Aniken was in a safe area, not realizing the plot of land they were on, was melting down or sinking. He thought Aniken would be safe and the emperor or whoever you assumed Anakin was trainer under what is not left in the can for dead, or left them as long as they did. why are you also why I always suspected that Obi-Wan did not kill Anakin, because there were only so few Jedi left from Yoda or as far as Obi-Wan was concerned, there are only so few left there was Yoda and himself that he never survived order 66, so I always assume the preserve some of the way of the Jedi, since killing goes against the Jedi order that’s why I’ll be one does not kill Anakin physically and again I I believe Obi-Wan assumed, and I can wear to survive that he wasn’t dying but like I said, it seems like they might’ve triggered like a meltdown or something causing the molten scrap to rise so not realizing that and I can’t get the injuries he does and the reason he wears the Darth Vader suit that’s always been my head my head cannon sorry does, is someone that was just my opinion I’ve always wanted to put out there I can I’m really not trying to be rude and I get this comment is long, so I understand if people don’t read the whole thing but another part I don’t think Anakin would be so quick to forgive cause we’ll see how he was with the same people and something I I think it might’ve been a book or something I saw online there’s been a year or two between those events, which I understand why he hated the same people but in this scenario in the original, in this scenario, I’ll be one dismembers Anakin cutting off his last remaining arm and one leg. And yes, the scenario is if Obi-Wan does help him again, but I feel Anakin would still have a lot of hatred and anger towards Obi-Wan if he did survive because if we look at it, how it is, Vader does still have lots of hatred towards Obi-Wan in the original Star Wars yes yes, I’ll be one in the original leaves Anakin to die in the original Continuity, but he does survive but to see how much anger and hatred even 20 years later Vader still has and how much anger and hatred Anakin has a yard to look after the events of his mother dying, I don’t see him being like oh you saved me. You helped me not die on me so far we’re all good I believe Lad or Obi-Wan helped and I can or didn’t like in the original Continuity Obi-Wan. Obi-Wan would still be in danger, and so was the rest of the remaining Jedi. again, I’m not discounting long so I apologize but the last play I want to make Lad assume he would still have so much anger and hatred is because I haven’t watched the show so I’m just going off of what I’ve heard Darth Vader or Anakin whatever you wanna call him shows a lot of anger and hatred towards Ashoka in the show Star Wars rebels, someone that Anakin sold in the same way Obi-Wan, so and I can someone and I can love and cared about and yes we know he is loved and cared about Obi-Wan, but the fact he could show so much anger and hatred towards Asoka someone that did nothing to him. Why would he be so quick to forgive Obi-Wan. OK that’s all I had to say. Some of this is a question. And some of it is just me trying to ask someone to make sense I know it’s not a real thing but I’m just really curious again I’m not trying to hate and I apologize for my comment being so long. This is just something I’m passionate about because I love Star Wars like everyone else here and I get everyone’s going to have the different opinions about this video and whoever reads this comment will have their own opinion so I do apologize if I annoyed or offended anyone to whoever reads this whole thing.
Exactly. There’s no way Yoda or Obi-Wan could trust Anakin/Vader so quickly after that! IMO, Anakin’s only plausible mentor after Mustafar would be the Force Ghost of Qui-Gon Jinn.
The Emperor forced him to do it off screen, confirmed, u can see he clearly didn't want to do it but did since he was heavily manipulated by Palpatine.
@@MangleFangle4 : I don't think so. Vader didn't need to kill the younglings himself. He could have simply left the job to the clone troopers of the 501st.
Problem is if they had that many Jedi uniting together, Sidious would have detected them and where they were, and attacked with an army in space, and storm troopers.
Jedi had techniques to mask their presence. The main reason for their fall in ROTS is that they were betrayed and backstabbed by their own troopers. This wouldn't be the case here anymore as they're aware of their enemy
Disney this is an excellent example of how to write a thoughtful, poetic and compelling storyline. One where decisions could alter the future, it impacts everyone. A story that will force viewers to keep their eyes glued to the screen.
What if darth vader was in Mortal combat Vader: You must like having a daughter Sonya: Still getting Used two the whole idea Vader: It is a joy I will never know
Bear with me here a moment. So this story. It's structured a little bit like avatar the legend of Aang. With book one, chapter one ect. What you gave us is it book one, chapter one and the 2nd chapter is coming out sometime soon I hope. Because that would be so cool if true. How many chapters per book and how many books to complete your series I'm very curious to know. You've given us all a good story to sink our teeth into. A very good story indeed. I'd say. Please keep up the good work and don't forget to enjoy the process. If it ain't fun take a break to let your creative juices replenish. Kind regards and best wishes from Daniel Harman.
what seems to be misunderstood is the Jedi's Battle Master and the role of the temple guards. If the order was to be rebuilt there would be contingency plans to deal with a threat that required immediate evacuation throughout the location/s in question to different strongholds. The Jedi across the galaxy had existed for thousands of years across the entire galaxy.
Obi-Wan was probably the most powerful of all the Jedi’s at the end of the day but also responsible for everything that happened simply because he had several chances to kill Vader and let him live. When Anakin/Vader got his legs chopped off he had his chance to end him. The Death Star wasn’t even completely finished yet. He might had been able to save millions of lives. In the Obi-Wan series he again lets him live. Luke and Leia are little kids still so again, could have saved so many lives.
I do wonder how long it would take for Anakin's wounds to heal along with his shift back into the light side cause if it were to b instant, that's not too farfetched. And as for Padme's death, for a long time, I've had the thought that not only was she heartbroken and in pain from giving birth but she was also losing strength/faith while Anakin was being repaired and given his scar shielding suit. This new story tho is solid and gives Anakin's initial fall on Mustafar leaps and bounds more justifiable.
Nice story and a well made video. But I somehow doubt that everyone, Obi Wan, Padme and especially Ahsoka would just accept and forgive the youngling massacre that easy.
At first, I found this far fetched. But remember, in episode 2, Anakin tapped into the dark side when he killed everyone, including women and children. You could see the anger in him. But he apologized and continued to be a jedi. But he was vulnerable. Having said that, I am not sure if Saving Anakin would have been wise. If they fixed him, he could very well have turned against them again. But let's say that Obi-Wan either killed Anakin, or Anikan was saved and turned good again. Palpatine would find someone else to be his side kick.
Tython maybe it could have helped me with my inner turmoil and allowed me to correct my life much sooner but such is life that we must move forward glance back and remain firm
Anakin needed an older relative type of relationship. Palpatine was like an Uncle to him, of course he didn’t see him ALL the time. But Qui Gon would’ve have understood what Anakin needed, and provided it
What if Palpatine found Anakin's severed limbs on the lava bank and assumed that Anakin's body had slid into the river of lava? As a last resort, he gathers the arm and both legs and takes them to his cloning labs.

Shell we just look away from Anakin's killing of younglings? 👀
@@timonsolusit’s valid because the Jedi knew they were wrong too. deep down yoda knew they played a major role in skywalker’s fall to Vader
@@MangleFangle4 : I don't think so. Vader didn't need to kill the younglings himself. He could have simply left the job to the clone troopers of the 501st.
@@DropShotMLG : Nonsense, the Jedi Council had no role in Anakin's fall to the dark side. They treated him the same as they would any other Jedi.
Absolutely makes more sense than always
This fan What If makes more sense and works perfectly.
Wow. This is absolute gold. Too bad Disney will never give us anything so deep and meaningful...
This story is much more heart-warming.
And there is a stronger feeling of redemption
Good one. Thumbs up 👍
That makes sense absolutely fantastic job already
Problem is if they had that many Jedi uniting together, Sidious would have detected them and where they were, and attacked with an army in space, and storm troopers.
Then storm troopers are so weak their not gonna do shit their Amy is so off that makes Jedi younglings seem powerful
You must not be aware of ancient force techniques that helped jedi of the past mask their prescenses
@@Supersilverandburningblaze256 : But the early Empire still had clone troopers. They were much better than the later human stormtroopers.
The Jedi were hidden by their new neutral attunement and by the volatile nature of Typhon.
7:28 “ But you don’t have any feet”
Why couldnt we have this yoda? This is true wisdom
I really wish the captions weren’t here. The spelling is really distracting and RUclips has a cc function.
The cc function sometimes fucks up and says some weird stuff
20:00 She's going to learn how to use "Darkseid's" omega beams.
I think this remake would make an interesting movie to watch....
We seriously need a What If season 1 for Star Wars prequel
What if darth vader was in Mortal combat
Vader: You must like having a daughter
Sonya: Still getting Used two the whole idea
Vader: It is a joy I will never know
Mortal Kombat already has a Darth Vader 'Smoke'.
@@psychedelicartistry No they meant the actual darth vader not a darth vader knock off
@@eeveeodiamond1039 lol i know i was joking.
This is an amazing story and gained you a new subscriber
Great work I really like it part 2 please
Thank you!
In the voice of Emperor Palpatine: GOOOOOD...GOOOOD!!!
The entire purpose of his darkside crusade was to keep padme alive during birthing.
But it was ultimately what killed her
@@gepoo8025 Ironic. That is a paradox.
This could easily be made into a movie with Anakin/Vader going back in time!!😊
Gotta make part 2 that was brilliant
But you ain’t got no legs Lieutenant Vader!
Great story line!
I think that Yoda was also just as guilty and needs reflection too. "Miss them do not, mourn them do not."
Of course it is wonderful news to hear that idea actually
what seems to be misunderstood is the Jedi's Battle Master and the role of the temple guards. If the order was to be rebuilt there would be contingency plans to deal with a threat that required immediate evacuation throughout the location/s in question to different strongholds. The Jedi across the galaxy had existed for thousands of years across the entire galaxy.
2:01 umm, no, Anakin isn't trying to make things right.
We need a Star Wars what if series
Disney needs to make a what if Star Wars edition
No worries at all absolutely agreed with that idea actually
You should do what if luke finish his training
This is an amazing story!
13:13 I'm sorry, I just can't _piece together_ how Maul survived his defeat! 😂
We need a part 2 of this
Very well done then Hayden Christensen i have started season 2 already
what an excellent video based on What if Obi Wan Saved Anakin Skywalker Star Wars Kingdom.
Love this! Wasn’t mace windu able to use both light and dark too?
Very good thinking exactly
What if Papa Shango had not been stopped from draining Jim Hellwigs brain fluid in 1992?
I could see this as an alternative tale told at mos Isley spaceport to undermine the story that Han Solo had just told. (The Skywalker saga)
We need a Star Wars What If movies series
Anikan would still be angry with Obi-Wan😢.
Han and Chewie need a part in this story when you do the sequel
"As the moments passed tension in the air was palpatine"
Great story 👏
I do wonder how long it would take for Anakin's wounds to heal along with his shift back into the light side cause if it were to b instant, that's not too farfetched. And as for Padme's death, for a long time, I've had the thought that not only was she heartbroken and in pain from giving birth but she was also losing strength/faith while Anakin was being repaired and given his scar shielding suit. This new story tho is solid and gives Anakin's initial fall on Mustafar leaps and bounds more justifiable.
19:23 Anakin not calling her Snips when he reunites is a crime
Disney should hire this guy
Nice story and a well made video. But I somehow doubt that everyone, Obi Wan, Padme and especially Ahsoka would just accept and forgive the youngling massacre that easy.
This would’ve been an amazing story for a trilogy
At first, I found this far fetched. But remember, in episode 2, Anakin tapped into the dark side when he killed everyone, including women and children. You could see the anger in him. But he apologized and continued to be a jedi. But he was vulnerable.
Having said that, I am not sure if Saving Anakin would have been wise. If they fixed him, he could very well have turned against them again.
But let's say that Obi-Wan either killed Anakin, or Anikan was saved and turned good again. Palpatine would find someone else to be his side kick.
Obi-Wan Kenobi: You were my brother, Anakin! I loved you. Now I will prove it by forgiving you.
But Qui Gon would’ve have understood what Anakin needed, and provided it
This is what Star Wars should have been.
Exactly makes sense absolutely fantastic idea's actually
