to do this quicker, if you look in the top left of this video's corner while the piano roll is open, you can see the same triangle icon. click that and whatever note you place will be a slide
i swear, i can do this independently as practice. but when it comes to the application on my music, its a whole different story. they just dont fit, they sound off and sometimes have a high pitch click on them. but they sound cool when others use it, idk man

I think that's probably because there has to be a previous note that can glide to the one that has the triangle icon. You first need a normal note to glide to another note with that triangle icon (porta). A porta note on its own wont make any sound

there are no 10 minute tutorials on 808 slides, if there are they would be in depth tutorials and have several examples and techniques to use.

how did you make a custom loop point, mine loop ends at the end of the audio
You’d have to open sampler, right click on the audio and open in audio editor. From here, it will open Edison where you can adjust the loop points.
