I genuinely cannot think of another RUclipsr who connects so many complex concepts into a coherent topic about Genshin Impact. Even if his theories are wrong, the topics he talks about are extremely insightful towards how Hoyoverse develops the game's story.
Oh my god. I was going to bring up King Deshret, the scarlet king who is often delicted by a sun, and Nabu Nalikata, for whom Deshret built the City of the Moon Maiden... And there you are hinting at it.
Here my extemsion to your theory: 1st Descender : PO (Phanes + 4 Shades) 2nd Descenser : Sustainer + Dragon King Nibelung 3rd Descender : Dianslief + Paimon 4th Descenser : Aether + Luminue Here my reasoning for sustainer, the Dragon King must have found her in the abyss, the Night Mother. The queen of the abyss, the forbidden knowledge. He recurited her to fight for her, completing her Yin with Yang. This could explains why the coming of 2nd Descender and Dragon King could be at same time without The Dragon king being the descender. During the fight between second descender and PO, the shades were destoryed except Istroth. The Dragon king sealed not killed to prevent recarnation and know we know as the sinner. Phanes manipulated and decieved the Sustainer and use her as his shade (his yin which was destoryed). Though it doesn't grant their orginal strength. When the third descender came, Phanes killed him and used his body to create gnosis and gather enough power resurrect his shades and regain his absolute authority. When the sustainer fought the twins during the cataclysm, she was healed by the traveller power somewhat, that why she didn't kill the twins and seal the traveller after she realizied this only after obtianing the abyss twin power which is like all element combined like the Dragon King. She then confronted Phanes and was sealed. This is why the heavenly principle is silent. Phane is too broken. Though I cannn't say anything about the battle pass cutscene.
5:20 The line "a monster that will devour the world in a single bite" is very interesting when you consider the theories from your Angel's Egg video. Would this imply that the Traveller will eat the Egg that represents Teyvat? Or if the world is a dream, then maybe they'll eat the dreamer? Like a certain "Emergency Food" for example 🤔
If the Gnosis is the 3rd Descenders remains and the Gnosis are all different elements. That means the 3rd Descender is just like the Travelers who is able to use all Seven Elements. That would mean the 1st Descender Heavenly Principles and 2nd Descender are just like the Traveler and the 3rd Descender. That's why in the beginning of the game the Twins were stopped from leaving by the SUSTAINER of Heavenly Principles... The Sustainer's job is to SUSTAIN or MAINTAIN the Heavenly Principles keep them in place. Her line, "The arrogation of mankind," was directed at the twins who we thought are "Gods." But, what if they were never "Gods." What if all Four Descenders were Rebis. Making both Twins MCs because they both have Light and Darkness. A Rebis is a reunion of opposing qualities such as spirit and matter or male and female, represented by an androgynous being. Thus, if you pick Lumine your opposing qualities is Aether (Abyss), and if you pick Aether your opposing qualities is Lumine (Abyss). I believe this is why Albedo thought of both Twins (depends on who you picked) as the same as him. Because Albedo is on the 2nd of Magnum Opus. Thus making Teyvat nothing but a LAB, and everything in it Lab RATS.
Well, it would make sense that the Twins are the Ying and Yang. *I mean, just invert both their clothes' colors and you'll get the other twin's color scheme.* Not to mention in Aether's dark clothing, there's a hint of white and in Lumine's light clothing, there's a spot of black. As they really couldn't exist without each other. I know it may be crazy, but Hoyoverse is well known for going big or going home, thus I always had the nagging suspicion that the Traveler might merge with someone in the future. Though I can't decide if it'll be their twin (to stay together forever and be androgynous befitting the requirement in Alchemy) or Paimon (just because it's been redundantly emphasized that she's our food to be devoured one day maybe as her sacrifice in order to protect us). But it's pretty out there, so I dunno.
Excellent theory as always. The more I watch your theories, the more I think you would really like the Toaru Majutsu no Index light novels. Also Merry Christmas 🎉
I wanna randomly add that the concept of femenine/masculine counter parts is widely studied in psychology. As the basis, a person shares both male and female chromosomes. Later becoming one or the other. Psychology, when coming across a person with issues regarding identity or issues against identity, it is believed that its causes by the imbalance of male/female inside said person. Only when said balance is achieved a person can find comfort. (Example: a person finding comfort in the opposite gender, a person finding comfort in being masculine/femenine, etc.) Just a curious thought that even psychologically, there's a small truth to be applied
I guess that explains why no playable characters are in a relationship. Apart from metagame thoughts like "Mihoyo is in business of selling waifus/husbandos".
I one agree with the title, i also have reason to believe( from exploring the desert) that There’s an 8th element of light. The element the sustainer of heavenly principal uses, and from using the light element weilders are able to manipulate anemo, pyro, cyro, dendro, electro, hydro, and geo without a vison. Which would connect to another theory i heard about traveler having light elemental
In one of King deshrets temples ( idk if that is spelled correctly) He has trap mechanisms that open up to a glowing white cube ( light elemental?) And from that glowing white cube dark red cubes that look TOO similar to the heavenly principals cube are projecting from the glowing white cube dealing Pyro damage. Like how in the beginning cutscene where the twins are fighting the sustainer and she summons a white light cube that ends up turning into that dark red elemental cube. ( Pyro Cube really)
and then thinking about the bigger picture, king deshert temples uses technology like traps that manipulate/ is that light element. The “ light” element / the sustainers power is the forbidden knowledge
But, Canotila sees things BACKWARDS. She thinks void hounds are cute puppies, and a ruined world is a pleasant meadow, and a sundered, blackened sky is a sunny day. That means her description of the Traveler & Paimon are also BACKWARDS.🤔
The Melusines, including Canotila, perceive the world differently due to their unique eyesight, which allows them to see the true nature of things. It's not a matter of seeing things backward; rather, their special vision reveals a different perspective. In the case of the Rifthound that attacked the Traveler, it appeared as a dog because it embodies the 'Will' of Carter, as expanded on in Jakob Baker's note near the Sunflowers. In other words, a Melusine's eyes will show her a different perspective of the world (Traveler and Paimon included) not a wrong or "backwards" perspective. In that sense, the Traveler being a terrible monster makes sense as he has the potential to become a supreme divinity.
Master of cooking, although I have one suggestion try flattening your voiceover from stereo to mono. These videos are always great just that one thing stuck out and bothered me. Looking forward to the next one
I was not disappointed that we are talking about alchemy and you included clips from FMA Brotherhood. Great theory, just curious tho, who the hell in the sinner?
Yea, it appears that the story is going in a direction where Paimon will slowly replace the Traveler's sibling. The only issue is that I am not sure if she is doing it innocently or as part of a malevolent plot.
I can’t tell if you’re creating insanely far fetched theories out of thin air, or if you’ve done so much real history and mythology research that it’s just that obvious to you. either way, great job, can’t wait for more!
Game theories are made for entertainment purposes not educational ones. While I do try to include some useful facts and real-life information, the primary goal is to explore "what if" scenarios in the game and hopefully give the viewers something to enjoy and think about.
amazing video! buuuut i do have one thing to add: at 23:11, it's mentioned that the travellers are identical twins. if we go by normal biological laws, they can't be because identical twins are always of the same gender (they came from the same egg that split so y'know...); they're probably fraternal twins instead. idk if this is relevant to any theorising but i just wanted to point it out :D of course, they might not even be human in which case what i've said doesn't even matter lol thank you again for the video and happy new year to everyone :)
I meant it in the sense of having extremely similar characteristics and properties not in the conventional dizygotic and monozygotic definitions. However, I should be a little more careful with the definitions I suppose. Regardless, we don't need to worry about the diversity of the placental and amniotic arrangements of Aether and Lumine. They are likely not humans at all (if they are then they have some kind of divine blessing).
Why Lumine x Aether, when for the white, Paimon seams mush more corresponding ? The sibling was also describe as "golden nara" in the Aranyaka quest, so can not be the white that merge with gold.
I have to mention that io io pan and that whole phrase, as is also mentioned in game, is taken exactly from the story of Ajax, it’s the part when he’s faking being nice to the gods just before he kills himself
Okay, (sorry I still thinking about this 🙏) So at first, I kind of went " :/ " when you said sustainer is the night mother, I personally still think night mother ≠ sustainer (because I think night mother is the abyss itself) BUT, sustainer might've been the 'heir' of night mother. I have more speculations, but I will say my bit here: Irmin is the first divine halberd, fischl is the last divine halberd. (legend of shattered halberds) -Irmin = the king of the underworld/khaenri'ah (probably red king) -Irmin = phanes -Fischl = nyx that came from phanes In flowers for princess fischl terms: -Kaiserin = night mother (that came from chaos/nothing) -Kaiser = god-king?/irmin?/narfi? -Fischl = nott (fischl's complete name has 'Narfidort' in it) -- "Are not dragons and snakes kin?" I think dragons ≈ snakes, and it's probably underworld / overworld situation. (ad astra abyssosque) We have god-king (?) that sent crown heirs to the kingdom of darkness. And I think the antithesis of this god-king is the kings we're familiar with (red kings/PO evil twin) So like, PO = king in the heaven evil PO = the snake Like for example, deshret refuse to be, an archon(??) from celestia (and he was the son of the sky). Instead, he made his own domain in sumeru with GoF (underworld/earth) (Also remember that we're like deshret according to liloupar) And there's GoF, who's from the sky too, but then she fell/casted away (istaroth/sophia), and then befriended deshret. Now, if you remember what traveler think about GoF's appearance, she kinda sounds like the night mother from the pale princess book. (Also, I recommend re-reading the riddles from vol. 5 of byakuyakoku collections, especially no. 6) So basically, I think sustainer and the other girls (istaroth/istaroth's clones) are like fischl. (I could elaborate more but I'll write it like this for now)
About the descenders, I have some ideas. But maybe I'll wait for your sustainer/dainsleif video first. If I had to share my thoughts a bit: -I actually also thought that dainsleif is a /descender/.But to say that he was which one (1,2,3) I don't really want to point (for some reason I thought that he's a failed descender, probably the game won't agree). But the way people & you speculate how the 3rd descender had been is probably because infos from the leaks, right? -Istaroth was 'lying' about the beginning of teyvat (I'm saying the numeration of 1/2/3/4 descenders is deliberate, probably just to make things neat for us) -also maybe consider pangu, purusha, ymir (venti said in genshin manga), they sounds like the 3rd descender -probably, 1/2 descenders had experienced what the 3rd descender had (and maybe us will too, the way paimon concerned about us being killed to bits like the 3rd was)
I enjoy that you post regularly, thank you for that. However, I have a little situation, your videos are often hard to understand... I catch a something here and there but I get lost, there's just a lot
To me Paimon is most likely the God of Fate who rules over teyvat and is probably what the functions ruined neuvillette talked about After our talk with Nicole in fontaine i just thought she just mentioned that "only fate shall serves as your guide" as if she knew what traveler's fate would be or where it is leading them and conveniently Paimon leads them throughout the game wherever she wants us to go And remember the Roots cycle thing? Isn't it odd that we are exploring it backwards? And suspiciously if we trace everything back we can see the memories of our sibling idk why but we may be going back to past after the series of teyvat to witness everything and fix the whole thing Also remember i said Paimon's power might be the function that was ruined? Well if the fate of the world if ruined then wouldn't it be correct to say that the world is facing so many events of the same level as in past? 3 major events Primordial one arrival and fight with dragons, the war of vengeance, archon war Then there's mid level events every thousand year ago a big figure doing something unexpected (this is a bit difficult to say because there's not much known about civilizations of teyvat) Well im mentioning this because every thousand year or so a civilization has fallen For example Remus and Remuria King deshret and his civilization King irmin and Khaenri'ah So far these are the known one's that falled and their kings name are known there's also this dragonspine one but idk it's kings name Lastly the minor events these events happens every 500yr This is why i think the fate of the teyvat in this cycle is most likely unpredictable but if not saved it would cost everything
As for dainsleif being 3rd idk man dude doesn't even look like one his history is rather simply explained a knight of khaenri'ah who got cursed then slowly erased his memory to lessen the burden
And for sustainer being 2nd? Nah man she is most likely the last remaining shade or the one who can use her power's rn but one thing is sure we have to save her since she is sustainer of the principals her death might result in things that would not be a good thing to know
This is my opinion: I always thought that PO related to the gnostic syzygy, so about the yin and yang thing, I think it's the human realm itself, which is when the light realm and abyss realm met, and the very reason why samsara is happening (human realm = samsara) And I think in the beginning, it's PO (or light?) That came to the abyss realm (night mother's land) and did that phanes thing So, PO = syzygy Phanes = snake = demiurge Istaroth = sophia Istaroth always tends close to the abyss (istaroth went to enka, lumine become the abyss princess) and her jesus keep getting replaced by the wrong one (demiurge) like aether should've been with lumine but his partner is paimon instead (istaroth from the previous one?) I think the chymical marriage is a fraud, in a sense that it's just a mortal desire(?)
didnt philospher's stone was mentioned in the fontaine weapon ascension material's description? “Combining the immortal stone with the Ichor essence extracted from primordial water, and carved into a race as black as iron - with arcane lithos for skin and Ichor for blood, never again fearing the curse of returning to the primeval past...” Goblins with black skin? Doesnt that sound like hilichurls?? If so then they must have made by ichor (which is described as blood of gods) and arcane lithos (mysterious stone= immortal stone) sounds pretty much like philosopher’s stone. Which is said to contain elixir of life. So we already knew that hilichurls existed before khaenriah war too its just that their population exploded afterwards BUT Dain said only those who carry the blood of other nations turned into hilichurls while the real khaenriah people were cursed with immortality. In Fontaine chapter we witnessed how people dissolved into water and it only affected Fontainians because they were ocenaids that turned into humans by Egeria, using primordial sea. Once their artificial bodies touch the primordial sea water their physical body couldn’t hold longer and turned into its original form. So what if; what happened in khaenriah was something similar? What if people underground of Teyvat and on the ground were made of different materials maybe also by different entities? In Enka we were introduced to a new race; vishap people. Which are vishaps who gradually evolved into humans. They are described as; “over time the forms of the Vassals of Watatsumi gradually became more identical to humans, to the point that the only trait distinguishing the Vassals of Watatsumi from normal humans was their snake-like pupils.” Which is interesting cause another race that is distinguishable by their pupils are the people of Khaenriah. Their pupils are four-pointed stars (like primogems). Could their origins be a different type of animal or beast that later on evolved into a human?(Maybe a star beast O-o). Hence they did not turn into goblins as they werent one from the start. Only humans under the rule of Celestia turned into hilichurls. Though here in the text, usurper that is mentioned is Remus as far as I understood and he probably is not the Phanes but maybe he used the same method Phanes did to create humans. He just did not have the power to create them in their homo sapiens form. Maybe lacked a specific ingredient who knows. The real question is: in Fontaine, nation of hydro that is built on a waterfall, disaster struck in form of flood (tho nothing happened because hydro dragon forgave their sins) in what possible form it might have struck in khaenriah that it effected all who were in there? Specially in an underground kingdom? I lowkey wanna imagine that they were washed by blood of the gods like their blood rained down on them (ehe) but that sounds unlikely.
if i remember correctly Morax also gets called as a woman and accepting gifts of perfume and something else but it was in a book called Rex Incognito that would make him androgynous and also make him a descender ?
According to the aranara weapons, it was two of the moon who fought eachother, the third moon didn't fight at all and was just kinda sad throughout the event, so maybe theres a chance shes still alive and maybe its paimon?
What are you saying essentially is very similar to the lore of lord of the mysteries, a very famous web novel in china it's actually crazy, i guess both parties take inspiration from the same chinese roots it's amazing, and i highly recommend reading it or searching it.
The stone itself is created multiple ways, generally through interaction between two being caught as a product. The sect of philosophy is just philosophy and is somewhat unrelated to the stone. The stone does as suggested and has the power as a non visible spiritual item that can change the world around you. Creation defines possibility meaning not all do the same thing. Example one I know of changes time around the owner who has it in their brain. The other is more complicated as a marriage contract different than what we'd understand. The others are more simple and the contract is eating you to form in your body. They can keep shape or dissolve into something like blood. Furthermore if there is a host spirit it will stay with you. Alkahest can remove these but not easily.
Idk about that part invovling Dain and Paimon tbh. It kinda could work, but the fact that Paimon's name is so close to the Primordial One makes me believe otherwise. It is also possible that her name could just be a red herring, but still, the fact that she has the symbol on her outfit that means True/Real, basically the same meaning the word Genshin has, to me she is the Primordial One using the Traveler in some way to regain her full power. So Dain could possibly be talking about the Sustainer. We know that she is fading away. We may find out that she is corrupted due to the markings we saw on her arms, which is killing her, and will want to save her in the end.
You are missing massive context to what the OP said in the video. There is a set of unreleased items (leaked since patch 1.2 I think) that essentially confirm Dain is either the Third Descender or someone heavily related to them. The OP already made two videos (the two recent theories) talking about all of the connections that Dain has with the Third Descender and it is actually mindblowing once you put it all into perspective. Although he never mentions the leaked items because... They are leaks I guess so he does not want to talk about them.
@@SumiSakurasawa-uv1yt Hmm, he's probably related, and not actually the 3rd. The 3rd descender is dead (as far as we can understand by what Skirk meant by "remains" in regards to the Gnosis). But what does what you said have to do with Paimon being or not being the PO? 🤔

Well. That the goddess is the mother of the night is associated from the beginning of the game, where she and the Herrscher of void are counterparts. Being Kiana, all her versions of herrschers fit. I already commented in another video about the twins being incarnations of Phanes. As in the tale of the tree, it said that the king needed to repair the beams of the pavilion. Most likely he needed to sacrifice the Seelie to repair himself or even the moons after the war ( or the goddess betrayed her sisters possessed by the power of the abyss, killing one and the other disappearing). Deins didn't want to lose the Seelie and somehow Istaroth (rukadevata) taught him how to protect the Seelie. I don't think it's Paymon, the story about the tree suggests that something similar to what happened Nahida happened to Seelie and she is living a new sansara. Istaroth and Paymon fought against the goddess and Istaroth dies and is reborn as Rukadevata and Paymon just as Gouba is reduced. Maybe Phanes died and was reborn in the twins, Paymon is Lucifer's faithful demon: Phanes/Aether/Lumine, Eosphorus, Phosphorus, all similar names. Paymon is among the goddesses he served Phanes in a different way.
They wont just date they will be bith be rulers to keep things intact and lumine may end up wacthing over as the shades of all teyvat including kheanriah and paimon may be the new rukkadevata
Me who immediately knew this was going to be about a Lumine/Aether ship... Sigh. Bloody shippers gotta make it weird. Interesting note, while most of the world agrees that it is bad, there's still a few countries where it's perfectly legal, some completely, others with various restrictions. Of course, there's some overlap with anti-gay countries and certain acts, so there's actually more restrictions than might be mentioned in those particular laws. Some get strangely very specific in the details, which I suppose is good for legal clarification, but it makes one question how they drew the lines where they did.
I really like your theory videos: they are comprehensive and contain a lot of interesting information. But I wish you could keep a more uniform and "professional" tune of voice. When you get excited you begin to shout and it makes understanding what you speak much harder.

The Sustainer's job is to SUSTAIN or MAINTAIN the Heavenly Principles keep them in place.
Her line, "The arrogation of mankind," was directed at the twins who we thought are "Gods." But, what if they were never "Gods."
What if all Four Descenders were Rebis.
Wait... Wth did i just watch this is a masterpiece. Well done
It boggles my mind that you haven't surpassed 10k subs. You been dropping bangers on a consistent basis, keep it up! And happy holidays
IDK man this theory got alot of Alabama meme potential.
Kidding. I think the concept of duality being so big in this game helps this argument.
Extraordinary. This lines up almost perfectly with Ashikai's latest video.
I love how you used einstine in the first clip to justify incest, a man who married his cousin
Excellent theory as always. The more I watch your theories, the more I think you would really like the Toaru Majutsu no Index light novels. Also Merry Christmas 🎉
what a start for a video
21st century you can never be too safe
I wanna randomly add that the concept of femenine/masculine counter parts is widely studied in psychology.
As the basis, a person shares both male and female chromosomes.
Later becoming one or the other.
Psychology, when coming across a person with issues regarding identity or issues against identity, it is believed that its causes by the imbalance of male/female inside said person.
Only when said balance is achieved a person can find comfort. (Example: a person finding comfort in the opposite gender, a person finding comfort in being masculine/femenine, etc.)
Just a curious thought that even psychologically, there's a small truth to be applied
Merry Christmas 🎅
Aparently, falling in love in Teyvat is a curse on itself 🤔🤔
Actually this might be true
Hoyoverse loves to make couples go through hell and back in all of their games so I guess it's just as expected coming from them
I guess that explains why no playable characters are in a relationship. Apart from metagame thoughts like "Mihoyo is in business of selling waifus/husbandos".
Surprised you didn’t mention that albedo, Rhinedottir’s creation, looks like an androgynous combination of aether and lumine
And Albedo is definitely "white". So he can work as "white queen" to Twins' "gold king".
My name for now gave us a Christmas present..
THANKS for fueling my albedo x mona agenda, theyre a walking instance of masculine sun x feminine moon
I was not disappointed that we are talking about alchemy and you included clips from FMA Brotherhood. Great theory, just curious tho, who the hell in the sinner?
Great theory video!! Also got to see Elden ring and AC Mirage bg music in a genshin theory video 😭😭.
"You might be only one of countless stars, but you're Paimon's whole world". Well this is awkward
Yea, it appears that the story is going in a direction where Paimon will slowly replace the Traveler's sibling. The only issue is that I am not sure if she is doing it innocently or as part of a malevolent plot.
@@DragonMJE Recent dialogue suggest she not making much head way in convincing the traveler to stay in teyvat without the other sibling approval
with how the intro to this video started, I would've thought this would've been a Coffin of Andy and Leyley theory and not a Genshin one.
you know that Primordial human reminds me a hell of a lot of Hells Paradise. Such a good anime. would recommend it heavily if anyone hasn’t seen!
You mean the Lord Tensen?
@@DragonMJE yes!
all i heard was my chemical romance
I can’t tell if you’re creating insanely far fetched theories out of thin air, or if you’ve done so much real history and mythology research that it’s just that obvious to you. either way, great job, can’t wait for more!
Game theories are made for entertainment purposes not educational ones. While I do try to include some useful facts and real-life information, the primary goal is to explore "what if" scenarios in the game and hopefully give the viewers something to enjoy and think about.
amazing video! buuuut i do have one thing to add: at 23:11, it's mentioned that the travellers are identical twins. if we go by normal biological laws, they can't be because identical twins are always of the same gender (they came from the same egg that split so y'know...); they're probably fraternal twins instead. idk if this is relevant to any theorising but i just wanted to point it out :D
of course, they might not even be human in which case what i've said doesn't even matter lol
thank you again for the video and happy new year to everyone :)
Solution: both are intersex, one presenting masc and one presenting femme
@@anyanP And normally, they change which is which at least once a week. Which is why Traveller refuses to wear any other outfit than his starting one.
this man is cooking
Why Lumine x Aether, when for the white, Paimon seams mush more corresponding ?
The sibling was also describe as "golden nara" in the Aranyaka quest, so can not be the white that merge with gold.
this theory and the energy used to deliver it is immaculate
I appreciate the subtitles, thank you!
man, i was listening this in the backstory, it sounded like i was at a very sketchy church. ( but made more sense than anyone could have been)
"incest is bad"
andy and leyley enjoyers: say what now?
i just woke up and one of few sentences i heard after waking up, "incest is bad, but-" 😭
your music choices never miss damn
I have to mention that io io pan and that whole phrase, as is also mentioned in game, is taken exactly from the story of Ajax, it’s the part when he’s faking being nice to the gods just before he kills himself
union of two? like that one joke in HSR "heliobic homogenization"?
Okay, (sorry I still thinking about this 🙏)
So at first, I kind of went " :/ " when you said sustainer is the night mother,
I personally still think night mother ≠ sustainer (because I think night mother is the abyss itself) BUT, sustainer might've been the 'heir' of night mother.
I have more speculations, but I will say my bit here:
Irmin is the first divine halberd, fischl is the last divine halberd. (legend of shattered halberds)
-Irmin = the king of the underworld/khaenri'ah (probably red king)
-Irmin = phanes
-Fischl = nyx that came from phanes
In flowers for princess fischl terms:
-Kaiserin = night mother (that came from chaos/nothing)
-Kaiser = god-king?/irmin?/narfi?
-Fischl = nott (fischl's complete name has 'Narfidort' in it)
--
"Are not dragons and snakes kin?"
I think dragons ≈ snakes, and it's probably underworld / overworld situation. (ad astra abyssosque)
We have god-king (?) that sent crown heirs to the kingdom of darkness. And I think the antithesis of this god-king is the kings we're familiar with (red kings/PO evil twin)
So like,
PO = king in the heaven
evil PO = the snake
Like for example, deshret refuse to be, an archon(??) from celestia (and he was the son of the sky). Instead, he made his own domain in sumeru with GoF (underworld/earth)
(Also remember that we're like deshret according to liloupar)
And there's GoF, who's from the sky too, but then she fell/casted away (istaroth/sophia), and then befriended deshret. Now, if you remember what traveler think about GoF's appearance, she kinda sounds like the night mother from the pale princess book.
(Also, I recommend re-reading the riddles from vol. 5 of byakuyakoku collections, especially no. 6)
So basically, I think sustainer and the other girls (istaroth/istaroth's clones) are like fischl.
(I could elaborate more but I'll write it like this for now)
About the descenders, I have some ideas. But maybe I'll wait for your sustainer/dainsleif video first.
If I had to share my thoughts a bit:
-I actually also thought that dainsleif is a /descender/.But to say that he was which one (1,2,3) I don't really want to point (for some reason I thought that he's a failed descender, probably the game won't agree). But the way people & you speculate how the 3rd descender had been is probably because infos from the leaks, right?
-Istaroth was 'lying' about the beginning of teyvat (I'm saying the numeration of 1/2/3/4 descenders is deliberate, probably just to make things neat for us)
-also maybe consider pangu, purusha, ymir (venti said in genshin manga), they sounds like the 3rd descender
-probably, 1/2 descenders had experienced what the 3rd descender had (and maybe us will too, the way paimon concerned about us being killed to bits like the 3rd was)
Also about rebis, if it's about the sun + moon,
does eclipse count?
like, the eclipse (black sun) dynasty?
the khaenri'ah dynasty?
I enjoy that you post regularly, thank you for that. However, I have a little situation, your videos are often hard to understand... I catch a something here and there but I get lost, there's just a lot
To me Paimon is most likely the God of Fate who rules over teyvat and is probably what the functions ruined neuvillette talked about
After our talk with Nicole in fontaine i just thought she just mentioned that "only fate shall serves as your guide" as if she knew what traveler's fate would be or where it is leading them and conveniently Paimon leads them throughout the game wherever she wants us to go
And remember the Roots cycle thing? Isn't it odd that we are exploring it backwards? And suspiciously if we trace everything back we can see the memories of our sibling idk why but we may be going back to past after the series of teyvat to witness everything and fix the whole thing
Also remember i said Paimon's power might be the function that was ruined? Well if the fate of the world if ruined then wouldn't it be correct to say that the world is facing so many events of the same level as in past?
3 major events Primordial one arrival and fight with dragons, the war of vengeance, archon war
Then there's mid level events
every thousand year ago a big figure doing something unexpected (this is a bit difficult to say because there's not much known about civilizations of teyvat)
Well im mentioning this because every thousand year or so a civilization has fallen
For example
Remus and Remuria
King deshret and his civilization
King irmin and Khaenri'ah
So far these are the known one's that falled and their kings name are known there's also this dragonspine one but idk it's kings name
Lastly the minor events these events happens every 500yr
This is why i think the fate of the teyvat in this cycle is most likely unpredictable but if not saved it would cost everything
As for dainsleif being 3rd idk man dude doesn't even look like one his history is rather simply explained a knight of khaenri'ah who got cursed then slowly erased his memory to lessen the burden
And for sustainer being 2nd? Nah man she is most likely the last remaining shade or the one who can use her power's rn but one thing is sure we have to save her since she is sustainer of the principals her death might result in things that would not be a good thing to know
This is my opinion:
I always thought that PO related to the gnostic syzygy,
so about the yin and yang thing, I think it's the human realm itself, which is when the light realm and abyss realm met, and the very reason why samsara is happening (human realm = samsara)
And I think in the beginning, it's PO (or light?) That came to the abyss realm (night mother's land) and did that phanes thing
So,
PO = syzygy
Phanes = snake = demiurge
Istaroth = sophia
Istaroth always tends close to the abyss (istaroth went to enka, lumine become the abyss princess) and her jesus keep getting replaced by the wrong one (demiurge)
like aether should've been with lumine but his partner is paimon instead (istaroth from the previous one?)
I think the chymical marriage is a fraud, in a sense that it's just a mortal desire(?)
Anytime you are talking about dietys or royaltee incest should be assumed.
didnt philospher's stone was mentioned in the fontaine weapon ascension material's description?
Ayo!?? Nah, I'm Subscribing.
Incest is bad buttt.( damn I spitted my water through my nose).
very amusing, u got a new subscriber
"incest is bad" you say? do you also believe that water is wet? the sky is blue? 9/11 even.
depends rich people don't seem to learn this obvious lesson, especially royals.
@@Skylight-nn9cl Paimon is affected by Irminsul so not a descender
Omg yes

i usually like your videos a lot, I still liked this one but it was REALLY hard to follow, Some mind maps would have helped a lot on this one because of all the circular reasonings, I’m going to have to watch it a few times since this is one of my favorite genshin topics. merry christmas and thanks for all the hard work you clearly put into it! 🎉

Did you said diluc said cyno stole forbidden knowledge and cyno Said diluc is in relationship with abyss order
I really like your theory videos: they are comprehensive and contain a lot of interesting information. But I wish you could keep a more uniform and "professional" tune of voice. When you get excited you begin to shout and it makes understanding what you speak much harder.
Weren’t the moon sisters before Phanes? The timeline is very odd.
They are older than Morax. We have no clue if they are actually older than Phanes and tbh it is unlikely.
