Let me tell you a story, one that is the current story arc of Honkai 3rd: There was once a scientist who lost her entire planet in a disaster where an entity from the abyss preyed on the dreams of her civilisation, she became the sole survivor and continued the final work of her people, to find a way to bring back her civilisation and world. She suffered in loneliness for centuries only accompanied by the backups of the brainwaves of her people she hopes to bring back if possible, these "people" exist in a dream like data space, continuously playing out in an endless cycle as she fails to find any solution for countless centuries. One day she came to a conclusion, to be able to bring back a whole planet and civilisation, she has to become comparable to the entity that destroyed her planet, she has to become a god. So she made a clone of herself to take care of the ongoing work as she prepares to undergo a process that will transform her as she absorbed power from beyond. This second who came retained as much humanity as possible, but was not allowed to be human, she was merely there to sustain the principles and processes to keep the entire project alive. After even more centuries the newly made god reawakened, she checked on the work of her sustainer, who has now prepared a planet for her to bring back the civilisation. The god has lost nearly all her humanity in the process of becoming a god, becoming more about logic and authority, which she believes is needed to reconstruct an entire world. She was unsatisfied with the lifeless planet even as she seeded it with new life, it's a mere imitation of what she intends to achieve, so she continuously destroyed and reseeded the world for countless cycles, all while her more human-like clone watched in despair, herself slowly losing her own humanity over time. Each time the world was destroyed and awaiting rebirth, the god would enter hibernation and meditation to save energy, but this time she awakened to a different scenario, an interstellar traveler and her ark which contained seeds of life and technology to terraform a planet had crashed landed on her planet. The traveler herself was in hibernation, so the god took advantage of the ark's technology as well as the traveler's unique ability, the ability to shape reality as she paints with the colours of the rainbow. The god decided to split what remains of her own humanity left into 7 colours, making 7 clones of herself of different authority representing different aspects of her personality to govern the planet and further advance the process and experiment of bringing back her world. Even with the 7, she was unsatisfied with the world she has made, she continued destroying and rebirthing the world in countless samsaras. Then a 4th traveler descended on this planet, met the 7 as well as the 2nd who came, turns out she was a comrade of the one who descended before her. Now we as the 4th and 3rd who descended on this planet is working with the 7 and the 2nd to "defeat" the god and make her realise where she has gone wrong in her desperation to bring back her world. This story is the current and final arc of Honkai 3rd part 1 that's happening right now before Honkai 3rd part 2 begins in February. Straight up Hoyoverse antagonists are never "evil" for the sake of being evil, ideas like "envy", "revenge", "greed" are dreams that are far too minuscule in the grand scheme of things. The antagonists of Hoyoverse fight for dreams that are far bigger than the individual, they fight for their civilisation and have suffered an eternity to make that dream come true. They are victims of fate trying to fight against destiny themselves to save and preserve worlds. There's too much parallel with this current Honkai 3rd arc and Genshin to ignore, in fact the 3rd descender in this story is a character named Griseo, who once had a long speculated theory to be the Primordial One in Genshin as she had the power to manipulate reality and terraform worlds with her ark and mission to travel the stars and be the backup of Earth and humanity.
I'm not sure if this holds any relevance at all, or if you already knew this, but I've wanted to get something off my chest for a while. In the domain where we enter Irminsul during the Sumeru archon quest, if you look carefully (or if u get a private server and fly over lol, someone doing that is how I discovered this), you can clearly make out floating red cubes circling around the area. And upon further inspection, these cubes are the exact same as we see in the opening cutscene being used by the sustainer. This clearly points towards Celestia (or the sustainer herself) tampering with irminsul in some way. On another note great vid btw, love how much effort you put into these rants/theories.
That still irks me as well. I wish more people would talk about it. To me, it's obvious that the Sustaner has tampered with the Irminsul in some way or another, yet I haven't seen a single video talking about it.
There are 11 numbered Harbingers (Harbinger refering to someone who declares the coming of someone) + the Director Pierro, so 12 Harbingers. So that makes sense. We know of every harbinger but the 10th Harbinger. Which hasn't been mentioned yet nor do we have any info on and is theorized to be vacant.

I remember seeing a video from a few years ago where someone theorized that Dain and the sustainer were the siblings in the Gnostic Chorus bp cutscene, but at the time we didn't have as much info as we do now. At the time I was like, ok bud maybe but I doubt it, but now it's actually seeming to be kinda possible. I'm not really sure why Dain would be a bough keeper in this context tho. Also, if Dain truly is the brother from the end of the gnostic chorus, i wonder if he's the third descender. hear me out hear me out. what if, when he first came to teyvat to save his sister like he was supposed to, she was already corrupted by the primordial one, and then when he tried to take her back, he was met with both the primordial one and the already corrupted sustainer fighting against him which would make that war that happened after the second throne's arrival actually be because of the arrival of the third descender, shortly after, trying to get his sister back, but instead of getting his sister back, he gets defeated in a war and gets his body split into a bunch of gnoses while the rest of him just becoming current Dainsleif. Yo this reminds me of this old meme i saw when the tcg first came out where it joked about Dainsleif being like the exodia from Yugioh. The multiple cards could be like each gnosis, and when you put it all together, it becomes the whole third descender. Of course a lot of my theory relies on the guy in the gnostic chorus actually being the third descender. Also, it's kinda weird that Venti says it's our story too. Maybe, the abyss sibling got corrupted and we have to go save her (yes i use aether) just like how susty got corrupted so dain had to save her (assuming this video's theory is correct).
This brings me back to the theory of Paimon being Istaroth, the God of Time, therefore, one of Phane’s shades. Maybe, in an attempt to bring back his powers, he tried to “absorb” back in some way his shades. Maybe, Paimon refused and fighting with the PO, she lost all her powers and fell down to Teyvat. Or the PO succeded in absorving all of their shades, leaving their powerless and shrinked bodies all over Teyvat. Maybe, the other shades (more Paimons?) are in a deep slumber all over Teyvat…?
I used to think that this was the case but now I think that Paimon is the last daughter of Barbeloth. Not Istaroth at all. Or at least, this is the idea I am starting to come around to.

So, I had a thought, we've seen assuming since the beginning that the "Sustainer" part of Sustainer mean they were upholding the rules of the Heavenly Principles. What if they mean it more as to Sustain life? We know the Primordial One was wounded in the war. So maybe the Sustainer is actually just the one keeping them alive?
I get what you mean. The thing is, she says, "The Sustaner of Heavenly Priciples." And not, "The Sustaner of The Heavenly Priciples." I think she is referring to the rules more than the entity/entities themselves/itself.

So ignoring the Dainslief stuff, the main problem I see with the theory is that it has the Primordial One having too many wins. PO vs dragons - PO wins and takes their authorities PO vs 2nd throne - PO wins and makes 2nd his bitch PO vs 3rd and an FK-ed dragon king - PO wins and cuts up 3rd with the help of his sister Specifically the issue is what the heck is the Abyss? The Abyss is fighting the PO but the PO has no enemies cause he either nerfed them or recruited them or cut them up for spare parts. Dainselif says that these wars are just continuations of older wars. But there's nobody to continue the fight against the PO. In the Chasm the FK / Abyssal energy Mud fights the Celestial Nail, but why is the Abyss equal in some sense to Celestia? The Abyss isn't 2nd, 3rd 4th or dragon, so what the heck is it? The Abyss is a big player one of the big three according to Enkanomiya and one of the big two according to the Chasm, but there's no room for any side to represent the Abyss?
In the beginning there are 2 realms the light realm and the void realm both of them are completely opposite to each other . I don't think The abyse is fighting against the celestia or heavenly principal the will of the abyse simply fighting against the light realm.

It is possible that like how the traveler was asleep for 500 years Dain also had some kind of long slumber. My reasoning being that Dain after being used to make the gnosis was discarded and left in a deep slumber, only to awaken in K'hannriah where he would serve as the twilights sword.
i'll be honest ig you're confusing it a bit, because the primordial one is clearly the "demiruge" of genshin , becuase of how the lore at first presented us the PO as the a light deity that created Humans and the savior of teyvat yada yada from the second who came etc... but later we get to know how this "light" deity is actually a villain and the bad guy of the story , the PO is called the "Usurper" King for a reason, the Usurper is both a combination between Lucifer and the Demiruge Lucifer because of how Lucifer is depiceted as "Morning star" a Light angel that descended from heaven , like how the PO , a light deity descended from the heavens to colonize Teyvat Demiurge because of How the PO is depicted as the False creator of teyvat and the false owner teyvat , (the World) hence why the Demiruge was said to be the false "god" of the "Old testament" and created humans and trapped them in the material world, much like how Usurper created humans and trapped them in teyvat and seperated teyvat from the cosmos, because the Usurper think they're the true ruler of teyvat when in fact they're not On the other hand, the Primordial one cannot be "Monad" because Monad is the true Creator in gnosticism, where in genshin's case, the Usurper is not the True ruler of Teyvat but merely a fake deity you could make the argument that nibelung could be "Monad" , but even then it still off

Ok so here's another thing i think the abyss is what phanes previous kingdom resides and it is trying to take over labd to bring out phanes and 2nd throne but now that nibelung has died or imprisoned their chances are small but they acquire the siblings though they got wrong sibling for their use but nonetheless they have an entity that rivals phanes and 2nd throne so ig the story after shneznaya is most likely to take place when the bubble surrounding teyvat is destroyed and phanes and 2nd throne contacts us traveler to pursue them to change the world and dainsleif most likely is a knight from the kingdom who was recruited by nibelung and irmin but knows that neither nibelung nor phanes is rightful owner to this continent that's why he approched traveler and when he approched he saw paimon who is most likely an avatar of fate itself since fate shall be our only guide it makes sense why dainsleif hesitate to accompany traveler since whatever fate shall lead them to will be where their destiny is means the ruler of teyvat is going to be Aether Ik it's a crack theory but that's my interpretation of Battlepass story
I have a question. When you brought up the War of Vengeance, you mentioned that Nabu Malikata informed Amun about it. Is she indeed discussing that war? The Wiki suggests she is referring to the Second Who Came. However, it is never explicitly stated whether she is talking about the Second Who Came or Nibelung.
At 6:57, I should've clarified that Nabu Malikata is likely talking about the War of Vengeance. The Artifact Set doesn't state it explicitly, and given the Primordial One's post-war behaviour, I am suspicious it might be Nibelung's War. However, for now, let's assume it's the Second Who Came to avoid the Nightmare of having to convince the hundreds of thousands of players who have it imprinted in their minds that Nabu is talking about the Second Throne.
It makes sense that it's called the War of Vengeance, since the Second Descender is likely Nibelung, endowed with the power of Abyss, whobwanted to take revenge on Phanes. The sustainer is most likely Asmoday, the shade of space.

An incredible series! I'm actually onboard with the Dain theory. I know we're getting some more lore, hopefully, in a couple weeks, but their is one thing I feel you never discussed in this series. Aether's loss of power. Obviously, atm, with hindsight we know now that Lumine never had her power stripped. So how come Aether did? The one thing that could be overlooked is with someone having the power to interfere with Irminsul to acknowledge Lumine as part of the world. Then it's possible someone changed Aether's status as well to hide a possible tragedy? Perhap's Aether was the Third Descender and had his power stripped. Then again, maybe it was an attempt to restore Phane's lost power? The other thing, about Phanes, could he possibly the Sinner masquerading as imprisoned soul in order to further manipulate things behind the scenes? Because the Sinner has to pre date Khaneriah, at present with current information. Either way, great job! I binged watched the whole series. Loved it!

Actually, the second who came is the third descender not the second. Because, in chinese and japanese the title translates to "The second who came after", for there to be a second who came after there needs to be the first who came after or the one who came after. In fact, Neuvillette refers to the second descender as "the one who vane after". The "war of vengeance " already made explicit that the swc needs to be someone that holds a grudge towrds the PO hence it cant be an unrelated person.
One thing that came up to mind while thinking about your theories... Maybe the Gnostic Chorus has a Princess being deceived by a snake is to make a reference to Eve in the bible? Which would make her correlate even more to the Night Mother, since she is the source of sin...

This all around a solid theory, and there's enough of a solid base in the story for people to dissect for this to end up being true in the end. I certainly enjoyed this video. I will say, the only thing I can think of right not that I'm not confident on as of now is that the reasoning behind their being six pygmies in The Pale Princess is because it's a story beat meant to reflect that the Hydro Archon is officially no more. I'm mainly not confident on this as of now is because this would essentially make The Pale Princess more like an allegorical prophecy rather than how these allegorical tales in Genshin have mainly been a way to "record" lost histories (or being both an allegorical prophecy and record). Now, despite me saying this, this is not me saying this is not a possibility. In fact, with certain lines of reasoning, this could actually answer a number of questions in the the game currently - such as why the Abyss Order want the book, why we haven't got any of the other volumes yet, and the meaning behind the summaries for volumes 5-7. But as of now, I'm more so leaning on this theory base more so on assumptions and circumstantial evidences rather that educated guesses, so I'm unsure how true this will remain.

If Dain is what remains of Prince of Light, then who is the 6th pygmee, who refused to go with the plan of other 5 pygmees? Their plan was to eliminate the Prince and take his light to themselves, instead of venturing with him and Pale Princess of Moon Forest into the Land of Light. This pygmee evaded the Prince's curse casted on death, he was mocked by Night Mother after she defeated the Moon Forest kingdom and imprisoned the Pale Princess, and he collected the remains of the Prince and hid then in a tree, then went to voluntary exile. I think there is no way those 6 pygmees were the Archons: events of Pale Princess could not be happening during or after archon wars, and there were 7 archons during all the history of archonhood, the "6 archons" is a thing that in Genshin's world has been around only for a few months. HOLD UP! In Neuvilette's character story, it states that the gnoses were created by the "the usurper and one who came after". In Chinese that phrase "one who came after" is roughly translated to "another latecomer" This suggests to me that it was NOT the Second Descender. I believe this was left vague intentionally.

The phrase instead being "another latecomer" implies that it's not the Second Descender because it uses a different phrasing that hasn't been attributed to them. The vast majority of people digging for lore have NOT picked up on this and just automatically assume that the Second Descender, after the war, for some reason helped the First Descender. All due to a poor translation. And there *ARE* other outsiders from outside of Teyvat. We have learned that not all outsiders are Descenders.

Yes Dainsleif was early on considered a possible heir, but in all the years since he has never once behaved like one or dropped any hint that he's anything but what he says - a 500 year old Khaenri'ahn. He has that weird line in Venti's miscellany (I think?) about the last 1000 years only seeming like 500 to him. And yes he's a know it all, but it's possible for him to be at only 500 I suppose. It feels like he was over pumped up as a character of great significance. OTOH the same is true of Alice who does the other miscellanies. But as you say it's OK to assume all that, for this video.

What would desert tell us about the 3rd descender? - There’s this place called Safhe Shatranj, it has a big chessboard with its 7 pieces. - The primal obelisk there basically said that ‘Deshret splits Liloupar into 7 parts because she made Gurabad fall’. - Liloupar resonated with one of the chess piece. - Everytime Liloupar picked her fragments, our power felt like being pulled away. - Liloupar 7 fragments ~ 7 gnosis? Idk, but I think Paimon is sus. - Why Paimon is sus? >Because Paimon is probably traveler’s organ (Albedo sq), and gnosis/vision also ‘organ’, so I concluded that Paimon is the one who’s responsible for traveller ability to control elements. >Canotila said that she’s a rainbow balloon >I also consider the fact that the camera pans toward Paimon after traveller when we talk about the 3rd descender and gnosis with Nuvilet (this is actually just me reading too much into it) >If Paimon ~ Istaroth ~ Omnipresent statue, that statue is made for holding visions, right? From your previous video on Dainsleif, I have also came to the conclusion that Sustainer has to be the second descender, but I don't think Dains is the 3rd descender. Here's what I think happened: - Phanes came and subjulgated the dragons - Nibeilung fled to outer-space to gather power - Nibeilung sends the second descender, Fischl - She gets corrupted by the Usurper and becomes The Sustainer of Heavenly Principles - Nibeilung then sends his son, the "Traveler from afar" - He becomes King Deshret, the 3rd descender. - King Deshret shares a lot of similarities with the Traveler twins: Blonde hair, Yellow eye (Candace's amber eye is said to come from Deshret lineage), Power over all elements, a "nobility aura" that the Genies point out as being similar to the traveller's. - The sustainer also has bright hair and yellow eyes, she doesn't display elemental powers, but she also seems noticeably corrupted, and her demeanor is notably "robotic" and inhuman, the effects over her arms are very similar to Honkai corruption effects. - King Deshret refuses to cooperate with Celestia and so he gets destroyed and turned into gnosis (yeah, the artifact set says Celestia offered him a Gift, it doesn't say that the Gift was a Gnosis), his soul lingers though, he becomes "The Sinner", yes the purple ball - Our traveler has a natural synargy with Teyvat, we can use leylines and cleanse corruption, we can use the elements (which are inherently Teyvatian), these characteristics are probably a sign that we derive from Nibeilung or are related to the dragons in some capacity. - Now the order of abyss is following the Sinner's instructions in order to create the loom of fate, use it to sacrifice the Genshins (since the Loom of fate requires a "spool" and the spool of the Moiras is made of human lives) in order to engulf the thrones with the Abyss. - Meanwhile, the Tsaritsa is seeking to rebuild King Deshret in order to defy Celestia without having to sacrifice the Genshins

Im going to be honest here, i was agreeing a lot with you, until the moment you mentioned Dainsleif as the third descender, then everything stopped making sense.
It's complicated. I currently live in South-East Ontario (because that's where I work). However, throughout my life, I have lived in several countries across the Middle East and Europe (Kuwait, France, Lebanon, Spain, England, Egypt, Greece, Italy, etc...).
On a side note, neuv's stgory says the gnosis was made with the assistance of "one who came after" it doesnt actually say this is a descender since we know now that other beings have come from outside that arent descenders. The other thing is the clothing that skirk wears is VERY similar to the sustainer, so go wild with some theory there :) Also you completely ignored he who is speaking from within the crystal "the sinner", that entity is key to the whole plot so which one is it? It wants to overrule fate, it's behind the abyss order, it's "convinced" the abyss twin to go against celestia. Hilichurls automatically worship it without reason.
It was blatantly stated that Dain is full blooded Khaenrian and captain of the royal guard. Why would he be a descender suddenly cursed with immortality on behalf of a people that's not his own? Why keep him alive when Celestia is known for eradicating those who know too much like Orobashi? This theory makes no sense.

There's one little problem with your phrase "Queen of Hell." You called her the "Queen of Heaven" previously. In the book of Jeremiah there is a god that's worshipped called the "Queen of Heaven."
Whoa! The Harbingers being the 12 apostles is brilliant! :O We need some expert on Christian theology to make some one-to-one comparisons to see how well this fits! I don't buy that it was the Second Throne who worked with the Usurper to create the gnoses, though. The wording of Neuvillette's story is way too vague. As it's written, it could be literally anyone, as long as they came after the Primordial One -- who is _everyone_ who's ever come to Teyvat. I don't know about the CN wording, but in EN it could even refer to the shades, or even someone born on Teyvat, not to mention people we know very little about, like the Hexenzirkle. The wording just strikes me as WAY too carefully misleading for the obvious first assumption (second descender) to be true.
It doesn't make sense, the theory is very forced and added that coincidentally Celestia is not directed at humans but at archons and gods, her role is more like an auditor, a supervisor than an all-powerful king, nor does the supporter call herself queen or ask for a lawsuit or anything like that, it seems more like she demands what her title says, complying with the rules that teyvat and given that the twins surely entered teyvat illegally, the breadwinner, the guardian, the police, the immigration, was by illegal visitors who intended to flee the scene without punishment. It makes me think about who each counterpart could be. Like, who would be Judas (the guy that sold Jesus for 30 silver and later unalived himself) or Peter (one of Jesus' closest disciples but denied Jesus 3 times) or Thomas (the guy who doubted Jesus; also Thomas had a twin and so does the traveler, and the twin traveled with Dainsleif/Jesus but then disappeared and joined the abyss. The 10th fatui harbinger is unknown, could it be the twin? The twin who was a disciple but then doubted and left to the abyss). I think Pantalone would be Matthew (he was a tax collector before he became a disciple).
Let me tell you a story, one that is the current story arc of Honkai 3rd: There was once a scientist who lost her entire planet in a disaster where an entity from the abyss preyed on the dreams of her civilisation, she became the sole survivor and continued the final work of her people, to find a way to bring back her civilisation and world. She suffered in loneliness for centuries only accompanied by the backups of the brainwaves of her people she hopes to bring back if possible, these "people" exist in a dream like data space, continuously playing out in an endless cycle as she fails to find any solution for countless centuries.
One day she came to a conclusion, to be able to bring back a whole planet and civilisation, she has to become comparable to the entity that destroyed her planet, she has to become a god. So she made a clone of herself to take care of the ongoing work as she prepares to undergo a process that will transform her as she absorbed power from beyond. This second who came retained as much humanity as possible, but was not allowed to be human, she was merely there to sustain the principles and processes to keep the entire project alive.
After even more centuries the newly made god reawakened, she checked on the work of her sustainer, who has now prepared a planet for her to bring back the civilisation. The god has lost nearly all her humanity in the process of becoming a god, becoming more about logic and authority, which she believes is needed to reconstruct an entire world. She was unsatisfied with the lifeless planet even as she seeded it with new life, it's a mere imitation of what she intends to achieve, so she continuously destroyed and reseeded the world for countless cycles, all while her more human-like clone watched in despair, herself slowly losing her own humanity over time.
Each time the world was destroyed and awaiting rebirth, the god would enter hibernation and meditation to save energy, but this time she awakened to a different scenario, an interstellar traveler and her ark which contained seeds of life and technology to terraform a planet had crashed landed on her planet. The traveler herself was in hibernation, so the god took advantage of the ark's technology as well as the traveler's unique ability, the ability to shape reality as she paints with the colours of the rainbow.
The god decided to split what remains of her own humanity left into 7 colours, making 7 clones of herself of different authority representing different aspects of her personality to govern the planet and further advance the process and experiment of bringing back her world. Even with the 7, she was unsatisfied with the world she has made, she continued destroying and rebirthing the world in countless samsaras.
Then a 4th traveler descended on this planet, met the 7 as well as the 2nd who came, turns out she was a comrade of the one who descended before her. Now we as the 4th and 3rd who descended on this planet is working with the 7 and the 2nd to "defeat" the god and make her realise where she has gone wrong in her desperation to bring back her world.
This story is the current and final arc of Honkai 3rd part 1 that's happening right now before Honkai 3rd part 2 begins in February.
Straight up Hoyoverse antagonists are never "evil" for the sake of being evil, ideas like "envy", "revenge", "greed" are dreams that are far too minuscule in the grand scheme of things. The antagonists of Hoyoverse fight for dreams that are far bigger than the individual, they fight for their civilisation and have suffered an eternity to make that dream come true. They are victims of fate trying to fight against destiny themselves to save and preserve worlds.
There's too much parallel with this current Honkai 3rd arc and Genshin to ignore, in fact the 3rd descender in this story is a character named Griseo, who once had a long speculated theory to be the Primordial One in Genshin as she had the power to manipulate reality and terraform worlds with her ark and mission to travel the stars and be the backup of Earth and humanity.

I'm not sure if this holds any relevance at all, or if you already knew this, but I've wanted to get something off my chest for a while. In the domain where we enter Irminsul during the Sumeru archon quest, if you look carefully (or if u get a private server and fly over lol, someone doing that is how I discovered this), you can clearly make out floating red cubes circling around the area. And upon further inspection, these cubes are the exact same as we see in the opening cutscene being used by the sustainer. This clearly points towards Celestia (or the sustainer herself) tampering with irminsul in some way.

That still irks me as well. I wish more people would talk about it. To me, it's obvious that the Sustaner has tampered with the Irminsul in some way or another, yet I haven't seen a single video talking about it.
We literally saw her reversed Traveler's whatever-blast, she controls Genshin's space-time.
There are 11 numbered Harbingers (Harbinger refering to someone who declares the coming of someone) + the Director Pierro, so 12 Harbingers. So that makes sense. We know of every harbinger but the 10th Harbinger. Which hasn't been mentioned yet nor do we have any info on and is theorized to be vacant.

I remember seeing a video from a few years ago where someone theorized that Dain and the sustainer were the siblings in the Gnostic Chorus bp cutscene, but at the time we didn't have as much info as we do now. At the time I was like, ok bud maybe but I doubt it, but now it's actually seeming to be kinda possible. I'm not really sure why Dain would be a bough keeper in this context tho. Also, if Dain truly is the brother from the end of the gnostic chorus, i wonder if he's the third descender. hear me out hear me out. what if, when he first came to teyvat to save his sister like he was supposed to, she was already corrupted by the primordial one, and then when he tried to take her back, he was met with both the primordial one and the already corrupted sustainer fighting against him which would make that war that happened after the second throne's arrival actually be because of the arrival of the third descender, shortly after, trying to get his sister back, but instead of getting his sister back, he gets defeated in a war and gets his body split into a bunch of gnoses while the rest of him just becoming current Dainsleif. Yo this reminds me of this old meme i saw when the tcg first came out where it joked about Dainsleif being like the exodia from Yugioh. The multiple cards could be like each gnosis, and when you put it all together, it becomes the whole third descender. Of course a lot of my theory relies on the guy in the gnostic chorus actually being the third descender.
Also, it's kinda weird that Venti says it's our story too. Maybe, the abyss sibling got corrupted and we have to go save her (yes i use aether) just like how susty got corrupted so dain had to save her (assuming this video's theory is correct).

The problem with that theory is that BP cutscene is still the same even if you use Lumin as a Traveler.
This brings me back to the theory of Paimon being Istaroth, the God of Time, therefore, one of Phane’s shades. Maybe, in an attempt to bring back his powers, he tried to “absorb” back in some way his shades. Maybe, Paimon refused and fighting with the PO, she lost all her powers and fell down to Teyvat. Or the PO succeded in absorving all of their shades, leaving their powerless and shrinked bodies all over Teyvat. Maybe, the other shades (more Paimons?) are in a deep slumber all over Teyvat…?
I used to think that this was the case but now I think that Paimon is the last daughter of Barbeloth. Not Istaroth at all. Or at least, this is the idea I am starting to come around to.

Specifically the issue is what the heck is the Abyss? The Abyss is fighting the PO but the PO has no enemies cause he either nerfed them or recruited them or cut them up for spare parts. Dainselif says that these wars are just continuations of older wars. But there's nobody to continue the fight against the PO. In the Chasm the FK / Abyssal energy Mud fights the Celestial Nail, but why is the Abyss equal in some sense to Celestia? The Abyss isn't 2nd, 3rd 4th or dragon, so what the heck is it? The Abyss is a big player one of the big three according to Enkanomiya and one of the big two according to the Chasm, but there's no room for any side to represent the Abyss?
In the beginning there are 2 realms the light realm and the void realm both of them are completely opposite to each other .
I don't think The abyse is fighting against the celestia or heavenly principal the will of the abyse simply fighting against the light realm.

I think BP lore is mainly an allegory and the pearl in question is the world of teyvat's the king's sent his 1st heir to retrieve it but the 1st got corrupted by the pearl and then the thought it is the rightful ruler of it but later on the 2nd heir which means the 2nd in line of throne was sent to get 1st but then it's fate is unknown what had happened
in my theory the 1st heir is most likely phanes one who was sent to rule the land till the king came but then phanes established it's stronghold and became the heavenly father itself then came 2nd throne and tried to pursue but may have most likely got a grasp of situation what is going on and decided to help phanes to run away from king's authority now that 2 of them have arrived it is now called heavenly principles now that both have reunited they later on part their own power's make 4 shades and 2nd throne making the world's law and order and a sustainer

The Wiki suggests she is referring to the Second Who Came. However, it is never explicitly stated whether she is talking about the Second Who Came or Nibelung.
At 6:57, I should've clarified that Nabu Malikata is likely talking about the War of Vengeance. The Artifact Set doesn't state it explicitly, and given the Primordial One's post-war behaviour, I am suspicious it might be Nibelung's War. However, for now, let's assume it's the Second Who Came to avoid the Nightmare of having to convince the hundreds of thousands of players who have it imprinted in their minds that Nabu is talking about the Second Throne.
It makes sense that it's called the War of Vengeance, since the Second Descender is likely Nibelung, endowed with the power of Abyss, whobwanted to take revenge on Phanes. The sustainer is most likely Asmoday, the shade of space.

An incredible series! I'm actually onboard with the Dain theory. I know we're getting some more lore, hopefully, in a couple weeks, but their is one thing I feel you never discussed in this series. Aether's loss of power. Obviously, atm, with hindsight we know now that Lumine never had her power stripped. So how come Aether did? The one thing that could be overlooked is with someone having the power to interfere with Irminsul to acknowledge Lumine as part of the world. Then it's possible someone changed Aether's status as well to hide a possible tragedy? Perhap's Aether was the Third Descender and had his power stripped. Then again, maybe it was an attempt to restore Phane's lost power?
The other thing, about Phanes, could he possibly the Sinner masquerading as imprisoned soul in order to further manipulate things behind the scenes? Because the Sinner has to pre date Khaneriah, at present with current information.

I will say, the only thing I can think of right not that I'm not confident on as of now is that the reasoning behind their being six pygmies in The Pale Princess is because it's a story beat meant to reflect that the Hydro Archon is officially no more. I'm mainly not confident on this as of now is because this would essentially make The Pale Princess more like an allegorical prophecy rather than how these allegorical tales in Genshin have mainly been a way to "record" lost histories (or being both an allegorical prophecy and record).
Now, despite me saying this, this is not me saying this is not a possibility. In fact, with certain lines of reasoning, this could actually answer a number of questions in the the game currently - such as why the Abyss Order want the book, why we haven't got any of the other volumes yet, and the meaning behind the summaries for volumes 5-7. But as of now, I'm more so leaning on this theory base more so on assumptions and circumstantial evidences rather that educated guesses, so I'm unsure how true this will remain.

Their plan was to eliminate the Prince and take his light to themselves, instead of venturing with him and Pale Princess of Moon Forest into the Land of Light. Yes Dainsleif was early on considered a possible heir, but in all the years since he has never once behaved like one or dropped any hint that he's anything but what he says - a 500 year old Khaenri'ahn. He has that weird line in Venti's miscellany (I think?) about the last 1000 years only seeming like 500 to him. And yes he's a know it all, but it's possible for him to be at only 500 I suppose. It feels like he was over pumped up as a character of great significance. OTOH the same is true of Alice who does the other miscellanies.

1. What would desert tell us about the 3rd descender?
- There’s this place called Safhe Shatranj, it has a big chessboard with its 7 pieces.
- The primal obelisk there basically said that ‘Deshret splits Liloupar into 7 parts because she made Gurabad fall’.
- Liloupar resonated with one of the chess piece.
- Everytime Liloupar picked her fragments, our power felt like being pulled away.
- Liloupar 7 fragments ~ 7 gnosis? Idk, but I think Paimon is sus.
- Why Paimon is sus?

- Narzisseenkreuz might had Marionette involved right? (cmiiw, I haven’t played the quest since 4.0) so the whole descender info probably from BSaM + Rene (???)

The first time I know that Aether’s name in Chinese is ‘Kong’ it immediately reminds me of the Monkey King (Sun Wukong), both used the letter ‘空’. I hadn’t think about it since but after checking it back, maybe it’s worth to consider?
-Monkey King born from a stone egg on a mountain.
-Fast forward, Monkey King was delinquent/arrogant about his abilities (and his achievement of immortality) and ruining heaven, so Buddha has to come to deal with him and put him under a mountain for 500 years.

It's actually pretty easy to blame her for the whole thing because:
- She’s the god of time
- There’s no way the Sakura tree situation only one time thing, she literally blipped 500 years into one moment (the parable of tree), I think, she could do literally anything about Teyvat's timeline (or, dreams)
- Dainsleif in Venti’s miscellany: "A thousand years have passed since the God of Anemo left. But to me, it has only been /half that time/."
- So maybe, the whole descender numeration is a lie? (lack of context?)

- Dainsleif somewhat like ‘the ursurper king’ and traveller is ‘the one that came after’ (?????????) (maybe not)
- Is it okay to say that Deshret qualified to be a descender? (or almost? he technically descended right?)

- Multiple timelines, Venti must be sus (of course)

I also want to write this down: Dain (Dainsleif) probably really related to Dvalin, Duneyrr, Durathor (the four stags, although the last two don't exist in the game, yet?).
Why? because of this: remember what Kaeya said to the traveler in the very beginning? Now, let's replace traveler with Dvalin:
"You've actually got the power to go up against the dragon."
Dvalin fought Durin, the Abyss dragon.
"Are you a new ally, or a new storm?
Dvalin becomes the 'Stormterror'.
I mean, of course Dvalin is dragon shaped and Dainsleif is not, but Dainsleif is Dain's sword, right? (there was a dragon named Dain? probably?)
-Dain should've protected Khaenri'ah, just like Dvalin protected Mondstat
-Dain 'failed' fighting against the true evil (?) (Abyss sibling, Diluc's miscellany), Dvalin was successfully beating Durin
So, If Dvalin won the fight over the evil dragon and then he become a new storm, does that mean Dainsleif became a new ally (? And what ally?)
...
Also speaking of storm, usually there would be lightning, right?
And wasn't traveler's original power like that yellow electro slime's? (yellow lightning?)

I think the Genshin Abyss is like the Dark Dimension from that Doctor Strange movie where Dormamuu is.
From your previous video on Dainsleif, I have also came to the conclusion that Sustainer has to be the second descender, but I don't think Dains is the 3rd descender.
Here's what I think happened:
- Phanes came and subjulgated the dragons
- Nibeilung fled to outer-space to gather power
- Nibeilung sends the second descender, Fischl
- She gets corrupted by the Usurper and becomes The Sustainer of Heavenly Principles
- Nibeilung then sends his son, the "Traveler from afar"
- He becomes King Deshret, the 3rd descender.
- King Deshret shares a lot of similarities with the Traveler twins: Blonde hair, Yellow eye (Candace's amber eye is said to come from Deshret lineage), Power over all elements, a "nobility aura" that the Genies point out as being similar to the traveller's.
- The sustainer also has bright hair and yellow eyes, she doesn't display elemental powers, but she also seems noticeably corrupted, and her demeanor is notably "robotic" and inhuman, the effects over her arms are very similar to Honkai corruption effects.
- King Deshret refuses to cooperate with Celestia and so he gets destroyed and turned into gnosis (yeah, the artifact set says Celestia offered him a Gift, it doesn't say that the Gift was a Gnosis), his soul lingers though, he becomes "The Sinner", yes the purple ball
- Our traveler has a natural synargy with Teyvat, we can use leylines and cleanse corruption, we can use the elements (which are inherently Teyvatian), these characteristics are probably a sign that we derive from Nibeilung or are related to the dragons in some capacity.
- Now the order of abyss is following the Sinner's instructions in order to create the loom of fate, use it to sacrifice the Genshins (since the Loom of fate requires a "spool" and the spool of the Moiras is made of human lives) in order to engulf the thrones with the Abyss.
- Meanwhile, the Tsaritsa is seeking to rebuild King Deshret in order to defy Celestia without having to sacrifice the Genshins
Problem is that the Sinner said he wasn't a god whilst Deshret clearly is.

On a side note, neuv's stgory says the gnosis was made with the assistance of "one who came after" it doesnt actually say this is a descender since we know now that other beings have come from outside that arent descenders. The other thing is the clothing that skirk wears is VERY similar to the sustainer, so go wild with some theory there :)
Also you completely ignored he who is speaking from within the crystal "the sinner", that entity is key to the whole plot so which one is it? It wants to overrule fate, it's behind the abyss order, it's "convinced" the abyss twin to go against celestia. Hilichurls automatically worship it without reason.

It was blatantly stated that Dain is full blooded Khaenrian and captain of the royal guard. Why would he be a descender suddenly cursed with immortality on behalf of a people that's not his own? Why keep him alive when Celestia is known for eradicating those who know too much like Orobashi? This theory makes no sense.

There's one little problem with your phrase "Queen of Hell." You called her the "Queen of Heaven" previously. In the book of Jeremiah there is a god that's worshipped called the "Queen of Heaven."

I don't buy that it was the Second Throne who worked with the Usurper to create the gnoses, though. The wording of Neuvillette's story is way too vague. As it's written, it could be literally anyone, as long as they came after the Primordial One -- who is _everyone_ who's ever come to Teyvat. I don't know about the CN wording, but in EN it could even refer to the shades, or even someone born on Teyvat, not to mention people we know very little about, like the Hexenzirkle. The wording just strikes me as WAY too carefully misleading for the obvious first assumption (second descender) to be true.

It doesn't make sense, the theory is very forced and added that coincidentally Celestia is not directed at humans but at archons and gods, her role is more like an auditor, a supervisor than an all-powerful king, nor does the supporter call herself queen or ask for a lawsuit or anything like that, it seems more like she demands what her title says, complying with the rules that teyvat and given that the twins surely entered teyvat illegally, the breadwinner, the guardian, the police, the immigration, was by illegal visitors who intended to flee the scene without punishment.
