Sorry but that was not medium...Most of the pieces were mid-rare...And the amount of time this guy played with the garlic was a bit too much...For that price for food, I would expect someone who knows how to cook it properly...👍🙏
The way it was served, plateless and on the edge of the grill reminds me of the Taiwan night market videos he used to do. But there he was paying $16, not $240.
The only part of that steak that was medium was the little end piece that got cooked in the bean sprouts, a $40 meal at best, not sure where they justified the other $200
They brought the front desk greeter to cook your food this time. He was tossing that garlic like he wanted to make a paste. Cook the steak a little bit longer and he would've achieved "rare."
The rice, no egg, no sauce, no green onion. Just garlic and rice. Cook didn't even clean his area well. I coulnd't get over the lower quality in the cooking, but great video as always.
The rice looks like it’s not cook correctly(it’s sticking together, this is suppose to be fried rice), the steak is not medium, and the beansprout is not cook evenly. For that price, I would be angry for getting only two ingredients for the rice. Either the chef is new, have a bad day, or is a back guy who’s covering the chef who’s probably on break.
Not any kind of expert, but ive seen your other videos, where the garlic for instance was made crispy and oil drained on paper towel even. This guy seemed to have everything smothered in oil,. They dont serve on a seperate dish? I hope it all tasted good at least.
This is what corporate America looks like. The more exquisite and pricey your lifestyle is the more boring and disconnected you are to everything you experience like this teppanyaki. The teppanyaki chefs down the street at my local restaurant know how to entertain a crowd more than this but ya know it's like those expensive paintings maybe us peasants don't understand the art y'all pay for.
I love drinking my $2 chuck wine and pretending to be served and then getting hungry enough to go eat ramen and cabbage at a 1:1 ratio with a chicken tender. lol eDit: awe, whish for 1 red chili pepper. lol
I am not an expert, but if we judge the work of this chef by similar videos from your channel, then this person only became a chef yesterday. There's too much fuss and unnecessary movements, the whole stove has become so dirty, from carbon deposits and spices, other cooks are constantly wiping the stove, he messed with garlic the most, damn, let him just fry on both sides! 😂
Somehow this seems like teppanyaki made by someone who's heard it described, rather than actually trained at it. All the subtleties seen in other videos are lacking, the food itself lacks the sophistication of the other restaurants, and the degree of cooking seems off. Underdone meat (for medium), partially burnt onion and garlic chips, and the fried rice is just basic. Not bad necessarily, but not good for the price.
THIS ISN'T FIRST CLASS BY ANY MEANS... THIS IS CHOO CHOO ONION BRING THE KIDS TO THE GRILL....BRING OUT SOME BIG ASS TONGS AND FLIP THAT VEG WITH DELICACY INSTEAD OF PUMMELING IT .... I'D BE SUPER PISSED IF THEY CUT MY STEAK AND CHEATED COOKING IN TINY BITTS
Worst teppanyaki chef I've seen on this channel. Not even close to worthy of the price. I won't elaborate because everyone sees it. Ugh I'd be very disappointed at $240 for that.
The chef made a bags of the garlic chips. Stirring them around too aggressively, not cooking them in enough oil and mixing them with residue left after meat. Poor cook. However I love your videos Aden.
I bet they use canola oil. I personally stay away from canola oil because it is really rapeseed oil which naturally contains a toxic substance called eruric acid. I use both avocado oil and olive oil exclusively. Otherwise, this is a beautiful video!
The FDA and EU require canola to be less than 2% erucic acid and rapeseed has significantly less naturally than other brassica seeds. It’s also worth noting there are zero conclusive human studies linking erucic acid to toxicity. RUclips health bros that sell coconut and avocado oil have an agenda too.
This was one of the worst cooks I’ve seen it was actually disrespectful how he prepared that, he couldn’t control the heat, it was way too oily and unevenly prepared
Compared to the other videos... This restaurant feld like a fast food joint. Why was that expensive meat cooked with the rest of those veggies and what kind of cook uses a tie? This feld downgraded.
I love the style of this video, the cuts to the street views are amazing! 💚
The amount of time the chef spent on cooking the garlic was agonizing to watch! In the meantime, everything including the grill was overcooking!
Sorry but that was not medium...Most of the pieces were mid-rare...And the amount of time this guy played with the garlic was a bit too much...For that price for food, I would expect someone who knows how to cook it properly...👍🙏
Agreed, this was definitely not worth the money...
He stressed me out over cooking/handling the garlic 😅
chef was not skillful you could tell immediately how much he was messing with the food
Garlic was the easiest thing to burn. Disagree
Cool I was waiting on on the critics
Somehow this cook managed to par boil a steak on a flat top grill, that was a little painful to watch.
Steamed steak and burnt garlic! My favourite 😂
The way it was served, plateless and on the edge of the grill reminds me of the Taiwan night market videos he used to do. But there he was paying $16, not $240.

The steak alone is valued at more than $40. That's a $65-80 dollar cut of beef. Not trying to argue, so keep in mind, I didn't set the prices.
Never disappointed, both the food and your videos
Hate to say it, but I've definitely seen better Garlic Chips in the past lol
Expected so much more with the size and quantity lmao
@@sauceokay❤❤😂
They brought the front desk greeter to cook your food this time. He was tossing that garlic like he wanted to make a paste. Cook the steak a little bit longer and he would've achieved "rare."
He wasn't very good. I wanted to jump in there with a spatula and cook the dinner myself!
This is certainly the worst teppanyaki I have ever seen in youtube🤣
Notice how you said " I have ever seen in RUclips " lmao exactly don't talk you'll never be able to afford this
What is he doing?
Has this dude ever gotten a steak how he orders it at these places?
Not that I've noticed and I've watched quite a few!
Chef was out sick that night.
if you pay close attention to the cooking its pure chaos an did he pull garlic chips aside then change his mind mid cook ?
Thanks again bro.
I thought it was amazing and looked really great. Greetings from Arizona.
The rice, no egg, no sauce, no green onion. Just garlic and rice. Cook didn't even clean his area well. I coulnd't get over the lower quality in the cooking, but great video as always.
Thought the same thing. Must be the blandest fried rice ever.
This beef is very tender. But it's not cheap, so can I ask if this is pan-fried 7-rare?
$240 to watch this guy burn garlic and unevenly cook a steak?
Run away! Run!
It's RAWWWWW!
wtf there is no plate to serve?
Panic garlic frying😂
for 5 minutes bro was stuck in a time loop
the chef took better care of the garlic than my parents ever did of me

Did that beef come from Florida by chance?
Not any kind of expert, but ive seen your other videos, where the garlic for instance was made crispy and oil drained on paper towel even. This guy seemed to have everything smothered in oil,.

No. I would've asked _them_ to pay _me_ $240 to eat that instead.
Yummy!
The fact they don’t listen when he says medium, blows my mind.
It's a felony to request medium steak.
I love drinking my $2 chuck wine and pretending to be served and then getting hungry enough to go eat ramen and cabbage at a 1:1 ratio with a chicken tender. lol eDit: awe, whish for 1 red chili pepper. lol
Broke

Hard to watch how uncoordinated he is.
Beef cut in the shape of Honshu.
I watched about 30 seconds of this guy cooking before I came to the comments
The chef didn’t build up a crust at all :( just cut it in pieces right at the start of the cooking process :( shame.
amazing video as always - but this certainly not a place I beleive he will re-visit at some point. - for that - over-priced as well.
yum. steamed steak.
The "Dong Cut" steak HAHAHAHA!
A slow motion chef when compares with the Chinese ones.
bro got the filia migdick
that's not garlic chips but garlic mess
Where's the egg?
What happened here..?
the garlic should kill the taste of the beef...

typically you see more finesse in the technique.
Geometry is not an opinion
240$ steak that is not even served on a plate...one of the worst teppanyaki places you've visited imo..
You gon get bro fired from his job 🤣hope he's just new
THIS ISN'T FIRST CLASS BY ANY MEANS...
What kind of oil do you think they use at these fancy places?
probably vegetable or avocado
Soya oil
Japanese capitalism, Aden loves it
That dude does not know how to cook a steak, that thing had no sear whatsoever
The guy cooking seems a lot less skilled than the cooks in other videos...
I don't understand the lack of a plate. Not the most impressive meal overall.
what is the white vegetable beside the steak?
A slice of onion.
If you don't get super power after eating it, then it's just over rated
Burnt garlic
Worst teppanyaki chef I've seen on this channel. Not even close to worthy of the price. I won't elaborate because everyone sees it. Ugh I'd be very disappointed at $240 for that.
Yeah that was really hard to watch lol
wow clumsiest teppanyaki skill i ever seen. def not worth $240. And that steak presentation at 9:13.... com'on its $240

Wow
EXPENSIVEEEEEEEEEE
not impressed with this one, and i very rarely say that with the restaurants that aden visits
The dude did not use enough oil, so burning on hot plate instead of frying! Bad day at office I feel!
I bet they use canola oil. I personally stay away from canola oil because it is really rapeseed oil which naturally contains a toxic substance called eruric acid. I use both avocado oil and olive oil exclusively. Otherwise, this is a beautiful video!
Olive and avocado oil are terrible for meat, they are not supposed to be used for this. Grape seed oil may be the best for this
The FDA and EU require canola to be less than 2% erucic acid and rapeseed has significantly less naturally than other brassica seeds. It’s also worth noting there are zero conclusive human studies linking erucic acid to toxicity. RUclips health bros that sell coconut and avocado oil have an agenda too.
@mv2559 I've cooked my steaks stove top in EVOO for years. It's great for steak. Gives it a lovely flavor. You couldn't be more wrong about that.
Soya oil
100%, fuck seed oils
You could have opted for a decent nuru massage at that price tag 😅
This was one of the worst cooks I’ve seen it was actually disrespectful how he prepared that, he couldn’t control the heat, it was way too oily and unevenly prepared
Looks like Florida or Honshu. Hilarious.
That was the worst teppanyaki I have ever seen.
Sorry wasn’t impressed and don’t think its $240…
I'm guessing Medium = Rare in Japan.
mantapppp🎉
what an absolute ripoff
Was this his first time cooking?? What a nightmare. And for that price can't even serve it on a plate.
First time i get disappointed by a dish here... i'm going to Tokyo soon and I will eat this, I hope I will not have this kind of head cook...
I'm sorry, but $240 for a piece of steak that small is robbery. And I LOVE A5. Way overpriced.
you pay the view
If that is a sirlon santa is also real !
Not our most skilled chef. Hopefully he was just having a bad day.
Meat was far too large for most to handle...
Compared to the other videos... This restaurant feld like a fast food joint. Why was that expensive meat cooked with the rest of those veggies and what kind of cook uses a tie? This feld downgraded.
