I know ride quality is subjective, but it'd be nice to see how the presenter feels when driving the lowered car on bumpy road surfaces.Certainly, the bump stops will play a greater role in absorbing what would be harsh jolts.
No. If you get a chassis error code after that means that your ride sensor on the driver rear tire either fell in on itself when lowering the arm to pull the strut and spring out or you reinstalled it in the wrong position. A quick RUclips video search will show you how to fix this.
It is a thing with euros, it is lighter but its SUPER annoying if you don't have a mounting pin. Hopefully some stud conversion kits are made like there are for some euro cars.
The issue is that the level position sensor is either not reconnected or it was resonating the wrong position. A quick RUclips search will show you how to fix this. I just did it myself 😅
Watched the video twice and ordered some springs; pretty confident after this detailed video. Thanks!
I'm so ready to see this evolve into a bad ass race car 😁
keep up the good work! awesome to see yall expand
Should’ve included a before and after shots for comparison.
Man, I don't even own a supra and I love this lol
Love the channel, keep doing more of these videos!

looks like you already got a new set of new exhaust installed
keep doing more install videos on the supra please!!
Important question! What are the torque specs for bolting back on the rear E20 bolt and the 18mm bolts as well as the front 18mm top bolt??
Excellent video and thanx👍🏼
Do you have the torque specs for the front suspension as well? Thank you for the video!
1:52 Is someone getting murdered in the background?
lmao
That’s a nice garage
According to Eibach, The GR Supra Automatic will be lowered 1.3"F and 1.0"R with these springs.
First came out, i didn't like it, now i want one
Thanks for this tutorial. So helpful.
Is your Dewalt the 600ft lb?
I used my old Dewalt 400lb max didnt seem to work. Just spins.
Nice

one finger in the front and two in the rear you say?
oooo more tea vicar???!!!!
They call that the shocker
🔥
Do any adjustments have to be made for the sensors for potential ride height computer errors?

I had to do this to a buick yesterday, are you still gonna be able to put it on a lift afterward? These look lower than the 86 twins from the factory!
I tried to follow this step by step and the rears sound like something is completely
loose and I can’t figure it out
Did you end up finding out what was wrong?
@@yvngthvg007 yes the bolts in the rear unscrewed themselves completely
@@garthlund2236did you torque them down!?
I want one 🤤
where can i get the bump stops? and the cover for the rear truts
Test run video pls
Good video, but I cringed every time you slammed the strut ball bearings from the front springs on the ground like that.
Great DIY. but wow, the Supra uses lug bolts instead of studs... that's surprising(kinda)
Ok... 🙄🙄
It’s a bmw/ euro thing
It is a thing with euros, it is lighter but its SUPER annoying if you don't have a mounting pin. Hopefully some stud conversion kits are made like there are for some euro cars.
Aren't you supposed to replace the bolts for the control arms? Bolt elongation, it's no longer the same size as original when re-torqued..
According to the service manual you are completely right but I have yet to see anyone doing it. I was also wondering!
Just got this installed but now I have something "chassis" message popped up and my headlights are pointing way up at night...
You likely broke or didn't re connect the leveler sensors on the control arms
Did you watch that part in the video where he said make sure to disconnect and reconnect it without breaking it?

So glad Harry Potter is working on Supra now instead the broom
Thank you for this. I’ve never worked on a BMW before, only Toyota’s. 😂🤣 but I really appreciate the video.
What are the TQ specs?
When putting back on the strut ?
at 5:11 you can see a bmw logo on the strut
Did this give anyone else an ASMR vibe ?
Why the fuck are you selling Supra parts on the 86 website. Unsubbed
Womp womp cry somewhere else.
