    Important question! What are the torque specs for bolting back on the rear E20 bolt and the 18mm bolts as well as the front 18mm top bolt??

    According to Eibach, The GR Supra Automatic will be lowered 1.3"F and 1.0"R with these springs.

    Do any adjustments have to be made for the sensors for potential ride height computer errors?

    • @datsupraguy
      @datsupraguy 9 месяцев назад

      No. If you get a chassis error code after that means that your ride sensor on the driver rear tire either fell in on itself when lowering the arm to pull the strut and spring out or you reinstalled it in the wrong position. A quick RUclips video search will show you how to fix this.

    I had to do this to a buick yesterday, are you still gonna be able to put it on a lift afterward? These look lower than the 86 twins from the factory!

  • @noo_2jz
    @noo_2jz 4 года назад +1

    Aren't you supposed to replace the bolts for the control arms? Bolt elongation, it's no longer the same size as original when re-torqued..

    • @louisduran9672
      @louisduran9672 3 года назад +1

      @steven sung yeah i fixed it myself after noticing that the rear driver side lever arm was in the wrong position, to get a more clearer solution see below where i explain how to check for it under the same OP question about the chassis code error

  • @brandontran633

    I got a “continued driving possible : chassis” error?

    • @louisduran9672
      @louisduran9672 4 года назад

      i got it too, with tein lowering springs, i went over everything again, strut sensors, driver side auto lever arms front and rear, finally took it to toyota dealer and they recommended to go back to stock, other option is going to a reputable tune shop and see if they can make adjustments, not sure what others have done, i think everyone gets this error message

    • @mrjjthor
      @mrjjthor 4 года назад

      @@louisduran9672 got the same error code too after lowering. So damn frustrating.

    • @louisduran9672
      @louisduran9672 4 года назад +1

      @@mrjjthor I went back to stock springs and still continued to get the error code, thanks to some help with a local Bmw/Merc indie shop I found that the left rear control arm level sensor was inverted incorrectly so that's what was causing the error message, I fixed it and error code was gone, so if I had known about that while on the Tein springs I think that would have fixed it. I highly recommend with going with the eibach lowering springs as it comes with the bump stops for all four without having to modify the stock ones, that's what I'm going to do, hope this helps

    • @mrjjthor
      @mrjjthor 4 года назад

      @@louisduran9672 thanks. It sure helps a lot. I'm gonna go back and check the sensors this week. I had a shop installed them so I hope I can find the cause.

    • @louisduran9672
      @louisduran9672 4 года назад +1

      @@mrjjthor the level arm sensors are only on the driver side so double check those, but since you took it to a shop have them double check their work on it, hopefully they warrantied their work on the install, if not then you can do it yourself, check all the sensor connections to each strut for damage or a loose connection, and then check on the level arm sensors, remember that the rear left arm level sensor has to be in the right position but it can easily be in the wrong position but still "look" like its in the right position, if it looks like an "L" its in the wrong position, it needs to be like an inverted "7" , hopefully that makes sense lol

      It is a thing with euros, it is lighter but its SUPER annoying if you don't have a mounting pin. Hopefully some stud conversion kits are made like there are for some euro cars.

    • @datsupraguy
