@@insansiregar6158 I say Ohlins is better but they need the aftermarket electronic dampening which you can buy separately I think. But the HKS for its price is already good and it retains the oem electronic dampening.
So for you guys who have done this... how's the car's recovery on heavy suspension compression parts of a road? Think uneven freeway pavement where the road can dip say a few inches (not a pot hole), compressing the suspension HARD, sometimes even rubbing the tires. I noticed with the older adaptive/EDC shock set-ups (BMW F30 cars) paired with HR or Eibach springs, this compression was pretty noticeable and unsettled the car somewhat dramatically.
Do you install them at the most minimal drop in the front? Im going to have a taller tire in the rear and cant go super low in the rear and dont want a big rake even if i have to deal with a little extra gap
for adjusting is it as simple as spinning the purple collar one way to lower and rotating it the other direction to raise? Do i need to hold the spring in placeto keep it from rotating? I want to raise my rear by about 1/2"
Hey Tim, I just got the same HKS spring kit installed on my Supra yesterday and I got that same error code on the way home. I’m running 20s, but when I engage the sport button I don’t notice a change in the suspension like I use to, and the other thing is that the technician said he couldn’t lower the front, only the back, and so my front actually got Jacked up a hood bit, but the back was lowered nicely. He said something about adjusting camber an all that if I wanted to lower the front anymore. I’m so confused
@@javiervelasquez8002 The guy in the video, Patrick, on the other hand, prefers to zap *everything* down with the impact wrench, using the most amount of torque as possible, as well as using a torque wrench as a breaker bar. Now think about that for a second.
Can you guys show how to adjust the height after installed. For these specifically!
Just did the install today, I tell you what. They made a huge difference! The handling is so much better and comfort is top notch!
Which better HKS or Ohlins coilovers? Does Ohlins retain the factory electronic dampening settings as well?

Beautiful video, yet again. Forever grateful!!!
We appreciate the use of the car! have a great rest of your week Sir!
Awesome install detail. Pretty much solidified me wanting exactly this for a suspension mod. Perfect drop and with the right aftermarket wheels 👌🏼
Glad to hear!!! Let us know we have them Ready to ship!
That's a lot easier than I expected. Any torque specs? Or is zapping good enough?

Did you ever get an answer to this?
Nicely done! Which quickjack model do you guys use for the Supra?
I bought these and had them installed. Can I adjust the damping? Especially the front. They feel great but it was rubbing around a corner
you can adjust the height , the Shock is still your OEM , Sound like its to low with maybe a rim/tire combo that has to much offset
Do you need to take everything apart on the rear to adjust the height?
I installed these and I keep getting rattles in the fronts. Idk what I did wrong😊
Dear patrick what’s better I change hks spring or all coilover?? I don’t want any dash alarm please and my car for dally used

Great work. Very good explanation,
Thanks.

I just got a quote from a shop for this same install. Springs and DP and they quoted me $2600 😂😂😂😂
Thats to much my man, Sounds like they did not want to do it. Springs are around 300-400 and a downpipe is 100-200 Max
@Speedindustry Do you have any recommendations to get the springs and dp done in south California (LA area) for the price you've mentioned?
Did you have to temper with the height sensor for that drop?
Do you mind trying this on M340i xdrive? Could fit in (at least for the rear by looking at the parts diagram) 😂
did you guys get a chassis code after the install? i did on my supra, not sure what it is
So did I. Did you manage to sort it out?
I got a code too. Did you guys ever figure it out?
@@Oni-Racing height sensor. Double check everything plugged in
Did you guys figure out how to adjust the height sensor? Trying to get all information before I do mine. Thx

Would you recommend the HKS Hipermax over the MSS?
Actually call in to us and speak to Alex, He can speak to you about this in detail, I think there is also a special price right now also.
can you guys go lower than that or is that the lowest?
How are the spring rates compared to stock? 20% stiffer?
Would you say better ok to use torque specs vs zapping everything down?
Torque it to spec. Unless you have experience and can judge how tight is tight enough

very good!

Will this fit on the 2021 inline 4 2.0?
no it will not.
Should this work with a 2021 ?
yes it will

Hahaha why make a video if you’re skip important parts like how hard it is to remove the strut?

Toyota bmw collab is great!

Will these work for the 23 MY Supra?
