- Supra MKV Eibach Lowering Springs
Install took me about 3-4 hours, and wasn't too bad. The worst part was aligning the bolts on the rears after installing the new springs and bump stops/sleeves. Overall, super impressed with this spring kit. The ride is great, and the responsiveness is improved in all aspects.
You can get yourself a set of these springs from Speed Industry:

You a true og . My man got flip flops on and did the work 🔥.
Hell yeah, that's how I roll!
Great vid Mark! Love the shop sandals!
Haha, thanks man, that's how I roll!
Has the ride changed significantly? Lowering springs are on my to do list but I am hesitant to change the factory spring rate.
Did you end up getting top hats or spl arms to adjust camber for an alignment?
I have not gotten anything for the alignment, I've seen several others get a decent alignment without them, so we'll see. If I need to after getting the alignment done, I will. So far the ride is awesome, just a little more firm. Having done the research prior to ordering, I liked that Eibach did the research and went with the same spring rates, just less travel.
Good man, I’m not skilled enough to install springs 🤣 I have the same Eibach Springs from Speed Industry. Had the for over a year and I love the fitment.
Me too, so nice! And handles great
Hey man, looks good. I'm on the MKV forums as well. Guys on there are going with the EU spec Z4 springs that drop the car .8" front and rear and looks great, I think that's what I'm going to do.
PS: Please keep us updated on your oil consumption issue. I also have a 2021 and I'm praying I don't run into any issues, I'm currently trying to get tuned on 93.
I will do an update video soon on the oil issue. I have seen several go with the .8, I guess I got greedy and wanted to go all the way down!!!
@@PaulCotton I ended up going with the .8" front and rear. The 1.7" is a bit much for my liking. I like to drive my car very spirtitedly and the potential for rubbing/bottoming out is the reason the 1.7" is too much.
@@PaulCotton Agreed.
Nice new stance on that thing!
Thanks, I think it's perfect!
Brett that looks perfect!! The ride looks a bit harsh from what I saw in your interior shots. Don't forget to update us on that differential leak.
Goes in Thursday to be looked at.
I chose the Swift springs which is really close to that drop as well. Good video.
Thanks man, I love it with the drop.
Beautiful ride! Thanks for the content too. Out of curiosity, did you look at the HKS springs? If so why did you choose Eibach over HKS? I’m on the fence now after your video.
I have a friend who has the Eibach, they looked great and he had zero issues with them. I also asked Speed Industry which they would go with and they told me these, so this is where I went!
Nice! I’ve been looking at some Eibachs to lift my Jeep.
So far these are pretty sick!
very nice man! subscribed! 1 question what spacers are you running?
Burger spacers, 13mm front, 15mm rear. Thanks man I appreciate it!
Planning on installing the springs myself how long do you think it would take?
That fluid from your diff not coming from the plug. There’s a pressure release on top of the pumpkin that releases diff fluid when the diff gets too hot. I’ve noticed it after going to the track and doing some launch control launches, and burnouts.
Interesting, they are looking at it on Thursday
@@spiguyversgarage9452 good deal man! Keep the content a coming!
Any alignment issues? Worried about lowering springs causing too much negative camber.
I go i for an alignment on Thursday, but it’s bot pulling and is handing really nicely.
I have this exact setup and have zero rubbing until I installed the rock guard. The only thing rubbing is the top fastener head. It’s not hurting anything if you rub the head of that fastener. Rather have the rock guards on and protect the paint. It only barely hits that top fastener head on big dips and again you are hurting nothing.
I'm just gonna go with PPF and I have already pulled them off. They were rubbing pretty bad. Might look at fabricating some that wrap and follow the lines to the original holes without needing spacers.
He has spacers and wider tires. That’s why the rubbing.
How is the ride quality is it harsh
hey man car looks good! where did you get the new bump stops? also the strut covers for the rear? can you please link? thanks
I'll have to dig through some emails when I get home.
@@spiguyversgarage9452 thanks! were you able to find the bump stops and rear strut rubber boot?
It was all part of the Eibach Pro Kit lowering springs I got from Speed Industry.
Looking to get these, how difficult is it to pull in your driveway front first?
Yeah, you have to learn not to go straight on with anything slightly steep.
Mark! The Eibachs gave the car a pretty significant drop! The fitment looks great but Now that it’s been over a year, are you still happy with the drop or is it too low? Any issues with scraping the front splitter on curbs of driveways? How about speed bumps? Any issues with the side skirts when going over them? Does your rear diffuser scrape when backing out of an angled driveway?
I love the look of the car and the way it drives. Since moving to NJ I have gotten the opportunity to do some real spirited back road, twisty driving and the stance and spring rates seem perfect for pushing on those types of roads. I have to be careful on some driveways and speed bumps, but not overly so. The only real damage I have seen so far to my front splitter was due to debris on the highway I didn't have time to avoid. The side skirts and rear spats have never hit anything.
@@spiguyversgarage9452 awesome! Thanks for the reply, Mark!
@@jmanlevan Anytime, appreciate you watching!
I'm puttling ZL1 rock guards on my car and plan to use this Eibach kit and 15mm spacers in the rear, but using stock sized rear tires. Do you think I'll have an issue with rubbing on the rock guards like you did or do you think that could be attributed to your rear tires here being slightly wider?
Bro you need some jack stands! I went with the h and r springs no rubbing issues.
I have some, but need to get some that are flat to go with the adapter pucks. No rubbing issues anymore, it was just the rock guards.
Any spacers? And what size big bro? Thanks
Would these be okay for daily driving?
Hey mark im planning on installing eibach lowering springs as well but im jst confused on what Wheel Spacers size i should run with im currently on stock wheels running 295 rear with 265 front what would be the best set up for this? Would highly appreciate the reply !
Hey man, the wheel spacers I was running are 13mm front, 15mm rear.
@@SpiguyverBackpacking1 at the time were you running the same set up as i am ? I just want it to super flush as possible
I was running 285/35 rear
Where did you find the red cross bars?
I had the silver ones powder coated.
What brand spacers did you get?
Burger motorsports
Also, do your tires scrape?
No
What size rims you got
They are 19x9 front and 19x10 rear.
I decided to not drop mine and go with 20" rims and install Eibach sway bars.
Sweet! How do you like it?
Hey man whats your tire set up again?
I have the Pilot Sport AS 3+ tires, 265/35/19 and 285/35/19, great wet and winter (not snow) tires.
@@spiguyversgarage9452 and you still rub?
