Phenomenal ... I have been an admirer of David since I first heard him live ... It was at the Bass Mountain BG Festival, NC... probably around 1992... David was there as the guitar player for the wonderful Lynn Morris Band and his playing was chillingly beautiful . We had a chance to get together downstairs in the famously rustic cinder block building that has been the witness to some some unfathomably powerful bluegrass music down through the decades. I recall us playing some of the tunes from the Appalachian Swing LP... A fond memory, for sure. David Grier's guitar playing is what great taste sounds like . He is the continuation of Clarence White... Stunning!

This is insane! Talk about playing with timing and making it very tasteful! This is a unique version and I absolutely love it!
Very well done! That is a professional with a professional product! I play the amateur version, but wow! Keep it up David.
Yes, more of this please. Another solo album is much needed. Love his work.
Doc -is Smiling Down!
Mighty fine son !
6,346 notes in this tune. And he plucked every single one perfectly.
You counted the notes? Do you have too much time on your hands?
