There is so much incredible talent out there... It's daunting and inspiring at the same time
What a incredible Interplay of music on the same song, all three are terrific. I love that each one has his very own specific voice and take on the song. What a highlight of cumulated musicality.
Wow all three are killer. Came for David Grier but was very impressed by them all
I love all three of these dudes. Awesome how they take each other’s solo and imitate it with their voicing.
Great stuff!!
Wowzer! That was fantastic! Thanks for sharing your God given talents with us. It truly is amazing to watch & hear you guys play.
Gotta give Jake Stargel props. Amazing playing and tone. Love some of his jaz runs and overall feel. My fav, although Grier and Workman amazing too.
Wonderful picking. AMAZING TALENT HERE
Best pickin’ session on the Tube right now👌
It's just that easy, folks.
Hey you in Saskatchewan!😄
Exquisite sonic territory.
All of the three gentleman are great but there's something in Jake workman playing that attracts my ears
Great playing all around and a superb example of rosewood tone vs mahogany, especially on the low end. That Santa Cruz is a beast! (Must note that all three have different mics though.)
One word AMAZING 👍👍
Saw David last year, what an amazing artist
damn guys. sounds amazing
Wwwwoooooowwww. Splendidly enjoyable.
Very enjoyable! HOWDY from Arizona!
David is playing in my Living Room in 2 weeks, but all 3 of these guys are insane players!!!
wow and super wow, fantastic. Stefano
Amazing playing by all three! Grier really rocked the boat @ 6:30 though. Wicked!
coolest part of the jam!
I dug 5:00 with a little quotation of Garfield’s Blackberry Blossom.
He had to let the young guys know he had a lil somethin for’m
No words, I cry
Bravo! Otra!
Thank you!
Sweet stuff boys...
Wish i could pick like that!!! Sounds good yall 👍
That LIIIIIIIIITTLE tiny note there are like....2:18 -ish....I dunno my best guess is a 7th or something, was so subtle and perfect. The little tiny things these fellas do like that just blow my mind sometimes.
@cameraman Don't show us the right hand !
Nobody plays harmonic substitutions like David Grier.
Awesome. David, when are you coming back to the Coffee Gallery Back Stage in California? Such a treat seeing you play here.
Well done fellers
Yikes!!!!! Well played!!!
That’s what sweat and hard works can do for you…..☮️🎶🔛🌎
Interesting.
3:18 LOL
This comment gets a thumbs up…erhm…maybe a thumbs down 😂

I would love to find the full session somewhere. Does anyone know if that's been uploaded somewhere??
Did you find it?
@@iamkennyjacobs no, unfortunately.
@@sivadyert back when it first came out, I was able to watch the entire set. It was amazing. I was looking to watch it again, and I find they only have whiskey before breakfast. So lame. But better than nothing. They are hiding it for some reason.
Wow David Grier and a pair of Jakes beats Royal Straight Flush!
Workman is the best. Silly “Billies” 🤤believe there’s another guitar slayer like him. Nope
I don't believe Billy has anything on these cats...
Imagine being a Billy Strings hater. Like the one guy to make this music popular since Oh Brother Where Art Thou and yall wanna cry. You guys are the reason that bluegrass will never go anywhere.
I mean all these bluegrass guitar players are great. These guys could play anything
Yeah. Why the unsolicited Billy hate?
@@travis8947 personally I think they are all great. Coming from someone who is a blues player and has been learning bluegrass/fiddle tunes for about 5 years. I learned just how hard it is as well so nothing but respect for all these pickers
Anyone knows if there is the full video?
Yes. We have it.
@@NashvilleTuneStream how would one go about getting it? Is it something available for purchase?
@@JPMGuitarPicker haha. Yeah. It would’ve been helpful if they’d said that instead
Brought to you by A&W Root Beer.
Robert Bowlin is missing!!
what year is the Martin?
The D18 is a 1937 which I believe Jake found at Gruhns in Nashville, Tenn.
What's in that root beer ?
Is David playing Tony’s guitar?
I thought Tony's had a dalmatian pickguard.
@@guypeck7080 good call. looks to be one of those Santa Cruz Tony Rice models. Not the OG d-28 from clarence.
No
