- Doc Watson was an American guitarist, songwriter, and singer of bluegrass, folk, country, blues, and gospel music. Watson won seven Grammy awards as well as a Grammy Lifetime Achievement Award. Watson's flatpicking skills and knowledge of traditional American music are highly regarded. Watson taught himself to play fiddle tunes on his Les Paul electric guitar. He later transferred the technique to acoustic guitar, and playing fiddle tunes became part of his signature sound.
He performed with his son, guitarist Merle Watson, for over 15 years until Merle's death in 1985 in an accident on the family farm.

Love and miss you Doc and Merle
GODDAMN!!!
You always see all these camera people at these shows. Where are the damn videos?!?! You’d think whoever had them would be selling dvds like hot cakes.
Films probably been destroyed/taped over, if it is out there, it's probably in shit quality with even worse audio. It took a bunch of effort from multiple people to get clear quality video like this back then. Find what you can and appreciate you're even seeing it.
It's called under the double eagle
