- Removing lime and calcium deposits from windows. window cleaning/washing.
The cleaner used in the video is called The Bells Chime (Bell Janitorial). We dilute the cleaner, and it should be used with rubber gloves.
Disclaimer: Be sure to read warnings from manufacturer label before use.
Read the description, but the name of the cleaner is The Bell's Chime. It should be used with rubber gloves. The cleaner is not the important part, it is the process using 0000 Steel Wool. There are many cleaning products available that do the same job, we just like the Bell's Chime because it uses a formula that "clings" to the glass and doesn't just run off like some of the other cleaners available.
Zack's Glass Cleaning is it possible that the cleaner could etch or damage the glass?
It's probably possible on some glass. We used it almost daily and we have never had a problem. Make sure you rinse the glass and the frame well before you leave it.
Hi Zack, what is the correct item for that? I can only see Bell's Chime™ Bowl, Tile & Porcelain Cleaner from their website.
@@regielaquian30 Yes, that is the correct product.
Do you have any examples of off the shelf box store products that would work as well? For instance, some other brand of toilet cleaner?
Read the description box ... he was nice enough to write the secret cleaner.
Everyone wants it given to them. No research.
What’s the point of making a video to help people just to not tell them everything? Y’all act like y’all going to go out of business if you tell people! Or y’all doing something you not suppose to
Thank you. Pointless ass video. Literally stopped the video once he said it was a secret lol.
Read the comments ,he says Bell Chime but any cleaner the main thing is 0000 steel wool
I’m a window cleaning guy,you can use Lime away, that works very well.
@davidpalacios2230 - I live on the first floor of an apartment building, and the sprinklers hit our window. In the past, I've tried using vinegar and a medium brush but it didn't get the hard water off. I have CLR, Lime Away, and Bar Keepers Friend for cleaning things inside my apartment and I had n idea these could work on the windows. I'll buy some soft steel wool as well. What's the point of having windows if we can't see out.😂
Exactly 😢
The base ingredient is phosphoric acid. It's in most professional toilet bowl cleaners and will irritate your skin.
I would happily disclose the name of the product. I failed to mention the name of the product for suspense in the video. I buy what is called bells chime from bells janitorial in Utah. Look them up I am sure they would be happy to sell you some :)
I would hire you just so I could look at that handsome smile up close, darling! But, also, thanks for the name of that cleaner...
Zack's Glass Cleaning please share it's amazon link
thanks for sharing! I have a small cleaning business in Washington state and that is definitely one of my challenges! thanks again!
What?
@@JamesBrown-li3io What is it don't you understand regarding his question?
Great.....telling us how to do it, without telling us how to do it....fantastic.
The cleaner used in the video is called The Bells Chime (Bell Janitorial). We dilute the cleaner, and it should be used with rubber gloves.

Lol!
Hard to read, huh?
That's incredible. Was going to call you a tool as well until I saw that you did disclose the product eventually. Now to find this stuff in Australia
why would you be annoyed if he didn't tell you his secret cleaning agent? To the businesses, they may see it as that competing businesses or individuals could learn from their methods, and then perform their job better, meaning their business fails.
I ofcourse say 'fuck it; let people know; if you fail you did a shit job.' but eh.
@@cate01a all i can say to that is , why do You Tube videos at all then
Selfish not like stevo window cleaner he tells you his tools and cleaners he uses to share with his followers.
That was awesome. I had to laugh because I was just outside scraping with a razor blade for about 20 minutes. I've got to find me some of the cleaner. Enjoyed your video. Thank you. God bless
Did you use the cleaner he is talking about
@@MrRoyalbornbully No but we did find another and used it with a blade and steel wool. Worked great
@@thomasdouglass8778hi there. Can you let me know the cleaner you used?
You are a miracle worker. Thank you for sharing.
Used this stuff as eye drops. Works wonders. Kills all the harmful bacteria
Lovely video. I'd hire you right quick! Efficient strokes too. I like your technique!
Are you diluting the bells chime product or using it straight out of the bottle? I didn't see you wearing gloves when applying it so just wondering since it's a very strong product. Thanks!
Yeah we dilute it 50%, and we normally wear gloves. It should be used with gloves. If not it burns your hands!
Hello Zack an in Kenya and would really use the product for I am in the renovation department and I end up removing the windows and I think the product would be a total save
Invaluable. Thanks 👍
Ty...will work well for my window cleaning business!
Use works bowl cleaner will do the job
Been doing that for 15 years
Thanks for your comments. Makes sense and I’m trying it tomorrow😀☺️expecting great results
Marcos, do you use it straight out of the bottle? With steel wool or something else? how long do you leave it on before removing?
@@kindredclarks1214 steel wool you may scratch the glass . You can use a scotch brite sponge. apply it, scrub and wash it
Thank you!
You forgot to mention to never use steel wool on tint.
Evident Glass Cleaners how would you get it off tint?
@@jessieswindowcleaning2766 just the acide and a mop over and over again i guess
Came to find a cleaner to get calcium deposits off windows. He says I can’t tell you. Why would you make a tutorial for something you can’t talk about. Was it to show off your squeegee?
I used a 50/50 mix of white vinegar and water. Quick and easy.
Didn’t work for this kind of hazed glass problem. I won’t be in this comment if using only vinegar and water works 🙃
Zack are you using the Bell's Chime Bowl, Tile and Porcelain cleaner?
Yes
What do you dilute it with
@@ericwikins3405 he said water
Thanks a bunch. I've been trying to get my windows cleans for a year
That shirt, is dope.
Just out of curiosity, if you’re going to show us how to remove all of the grime and buildup from a window, why won’t you give us the name of the product? That seems counter intuitive!
I can't tell you so helpful
I know you don't want to reveal the product you use, but can you say if this is a proprietary formula or a solution that was purchased from a company?
He is champion of
Glass cleaning
Not telling us what chemical you used was a big help!!! Thanks so much!!! I might as well just watch videos on how to clean brand new windows because I still don't know how to clean windows with years of build up that even a razor blade struggles with. ....I guess I can just use the Okeydoke technique. Pop the screen back on, wink, and say "Okeydoke ma'am I'm finished!" as I hand the customer my card with a no soliciting sign printed on the back to hang on their door for the next time I knock. ....I see now the comment you pinned with the chemical name! I was just trying to be funny anyway.
Help Me! I am thinking ahead to Mother's day gifts (too late for Christmas!), and more then anything my mom wants her views back from her magnificent one of a kind windows. To do this I have to clean hard water deposits from inside 6 sets of double paned windows. I cannot replace the windows, they were custom made 30 years ago and the best offer I had for replacement was 20k. I learned I can drill 2 tiny holes into the top and bottom, preferably in corners. From there I should be able to spray a solution into the holes with a tiny nozzle, and I think maybe suck out fluid with a vacuum? SO do you think this fluid of yours would work, and do you have any ideas that might improve my plan to give mom the best Mother's day gift ever?
I don't think this would work for that. Sounds like the seals are broken and the moisture has entered between the panes? I don't know of any solution other that replacing the windows. I've heard of the method you're talking about but never seen it. Good luck!
Bro, we needed you! Thank you so much for this awesome video! You're getting a sub just for being dope AF!
I was so pissed like why would he make a video showing us and then say it's a secret?! Like what good is it to us then? Lol them I read the comments and was like oh thank God he mentioned it lol
thats awesome what did you use?
If a person is a homosexual will it still work?
OMG....classic!! LMFAO.......
no. Transgenders yes but not homosexuals. Sorrry
Actually yes, but you'll have to apply a little more elbow great for built up jizz stains.
I'm flabbergasted. well done tysvm for the video

I need a tip on how to clean OLD roll up garage bay doors glass. with 12-18 months of dirt and exhaust soot build up. What if your water is staining the paint on your house?

It’s actually called PINK STUFF
Hello,is possibl the name of liquid Pink ? Thx
The Bell's Chime by Bell Janitorial.
I liked the video and would love to know where you order that cleanser
that was badass. what's the secret?
Whoa Keith! Come visit us in Utah.
Lime Scale Remover.
Hi Zack. Do you use Bells chime to this day? And have you ever used one restore?
Hi, what exactly is bells chime? I can’t get it here in Thailand so need to source something the same. Thanks
Dude thanks, that was awsome...
Does it work for lime deposits? H20 here has alot of lime in it
Where can you buy Bell's Chime?
can't do this inside double pane window can you? any ideas?
Hello, could you indicate clearly where the material to remove tartar, and where to get it by phone or email address. Thanks
This is a terrible video. By not telling what you used. The video is useless
Thanks for the video
Why would make a video and not say what you use? That's why u have 806 thumbs down
That was meant as a joke the product is in the description of the video. We use bells chime.
Did you dilute the solution. If so what ratio? I just purchased a quarter of it.
Fernando Barraza
Where did you purchase it from
I have made many fire places wood burning I know what you use because I have been on roof to clean it up many times.
What's the point if its a "secret"...geez
Daughter says you're an a**hole with the product tease! 😂😂😂
Water and OOOO steel wool will work 100% of the time
I bet that its hard water stain and using hard water stain remover will take it off. Maybe CLR with Safer Choice certification is best.
zack can i know the chemical did you use? this my common problem as a housekeeping
can you please read the fucking description if you want more details???????
Zack, Would you sell and ship the bell chime to me?
היי , אני מנקה חלונות מישראל והמון נתקל באבנית קשה , אז ברשותך תפנה אותי לספק החומר שהשתמשת במייל שלו , או איך אוכל להשיג ? תודה ועבודה יפה עשית
What's the purpose if ur not gonna tell us what u used
I think this was meant to be a commercial aimed at their customers. But the thing is most customers don't watch the RUclips videos you make.
I honestly doubt you'll get the hard water marks off of my windows that easily, but if you ever visit South Africa, let me know 😂😂
I know right...like we're going to call them to come clean our windows from across the planet.
great video zack, do you ever come across windows that you couldnt get the glass looking new because the hard water has been on the window for so long?
I have heard that if the hard water has been on the window long enough that it can be etched into the glass and that the glass would need to be buffed to look new again.
if this is the case what would one use to make the window new again, buffer? product? anything else?
Yeah we run into that from time to time. I know people use cerium oxide with a buffer to "restore" glass like that. I haven't used it though, I need to add that service to my company.
do you run into it very often?
Not very often, but it does happen. We can always make the glass look better, but there are occasions where the glass is etched and doesn't come out perfect.
@@zacksglasscleaning6209 I know this is an old message, but feel free to reach out. We specialize in glass restoration and buffing.
thanks for the "secret" video
Can that product damage windows if left on too long?
I'm sure it could, but we have never have a problem. Make sure you rinse off the brick or stucco below the window because it can damage that if left on too long.
Hey is there a chance i can order this product from you? Can it be delivered in Europe?
Thx.
Suspense of m'y balls

bells chime .ive tried their website it keeps coming back with im blocked alert ?
Hey rob I was thinking that too what a rocket scientist
Amazing!!!!!
BOUGHT YOUR PRODUCT AND IT DOES NOT WORK. TRIED EVERYTHING ON THE RUclips CHANNEL. NOW WHAT??
its a simple wc cleaner lol! its foaming and even red, means its for removing calc........simple as that.
Can’t watch no info. Take it down with your secrets
Why post a video on how to clean if you don't tell what product you need to buy
Thanks alot for this tip.
So how can we remove hard water? Call you?
Hello there, allow the tartar remover and name the supplier to order to Israel. Thanks
Camical name pls
Sadly I can't buy it since I'm not with a company. I really wanted to try it out because we got an old car that has really bad hard water fog all over the windows. Will look elsewhere. Great video though!
Barkeepers friend + a scotchbright green pad. Scrub up and down and then side to side in about 1 foot sections for about 30 seconds. Rinse it off and no more water spots. Just did this today on our shower door and it looks brand new.

@electrickitt3n for that I bought Instaglass Glass Stripper from O'Reilly's Auto Supplies $10 and worked beautifully on my windshield and in my house on french door glass. Make sure its the Glass Stripper as there are several products of Instaglass
how do i even buy something off of bell chime all it asks me is for a quote
I'm not sure, the company is local so we pick it up at their shop. The active ingredient is phosphoric acid so I would look for a product locally that has that.
Coca cola has phosphoric acid. Never tried it but might work.
Hi Zack I’m from Costa Rica, please can you sent me a picture of the magic product, a picture of ingredients please🙏🏻

What did you dilute the product with? Can I get some info on that?
We start by diluting it about 50% with water.
i can show you how to clean windows................but can't tell you the product? this CLEARLY distorts the entire purpose of the clip.
Hey Zack is that a bath towel you using?
How to remove it. I can’t tell you what to use. Riiiight
i noticed you did not use rubber gloves it will not harm your skin
Gloves should be worn, it will burn your skin.
White vinegar
U can't tell us 😭
First of all, it’s a secret
I'ma guess that product was a combination of Spitfire and peroxide
only say that because the red is the color of Spitfire then it bubbled like peroxide would do
Envy dude.
Helpful video/ commentary- except form the from the cry babies 😢
Can you use dawn with the steel wool?
Dawn with steel wool works well to remove dirt but if you are needing to remove hard water you need some form of acid to get it to come off.
plain old descaler, window cleaner for 40 years 😴
We live in California so they don't ship to our state
It’s toilet cleaner
U make a video to tell people what products works. Bad video!
Thanks for absolutely nothing.. what is the name of that solution you're using? I got to know!
How to yet he doesn't share what he uses. That's the whole point.
Amazon has one called "the pink stuff" but any hard water stain remover should work. The real trick is the steel wool.
