- After a lot of wait finally, the rings of power video. In this video we talk about the show and how everyone was criticizing it all over the internet. Of course, I spoil a large part of the show while talking about it, so if you have a problem with that please come back after watching the show.
As I said in the video too, although it could satisfy a range of people, yet a lot of people had a lot to say against this and I talk about it in the video.
I would be more than happy if you share your thoughts and ideas with us in the comment section. Please tell us if you liked the show or not. And is there anything that you found interesting about the show that we've missed in the video?
This show is a gold mine for RUclipsrs. Channels were built off this show and Star Wars.
@deanog2577 guilty 💀✋️
But seriously, yes! I did make this video to promote my brand new channel ,but when i went deep into it, i realised it does have a lot to talk about.
Don't you agree?
@@CinemaEnigmaa Nothing wrong with turning lemons into lemonade.🤣
I subbed
True 😂👍
Very glad that you joined us
Rings of bullshit perfectly described the show, couldn’t have thought about a better title for this video lol
@@JwZ777 And isn't that heartbreaking?🥲
I agree, I don't like the rings of power either
@@steppenwolf5956 RIGHT? and it's just heartbreaking
Rings of Parody
Forced diversity is always set to fail. With a billion dollar budget, they straight up hired shitty writers to spoil it.
Exactly i can't agree more on the "forced" part of your point. Of course, there is nothing wrong with diversity. Actually, it is very well needed, but im sure we both agree they are just doing a poor job in presenting this diversity.
@@CinemaEnigmaa Diversity is needed, of course. But as per what JRR had, casting choices in the show straight away fall under blunder bucket. Diversity or different skin tones need to be part of the story, anything more than that is basically forced.
Yes, l absolutely agree. If you want to make a movie based on a book, the least you can do is respect the writer and their work.
But as i said in the video, the book is basically 70 years old, They have to restructure it for modern audiences. And to be honest, i don't think it's a matter of choice anymore.
@@CinemaEnigmaa I disagree. Fans follow the work based on the main literature, screwing it up to match the audience is plain stupid. But anyway, I get what you are saying.
6:15 This was unexpected 😂
Glad you enjoyed it 😂
Writers?
My bad
I meant show's screen writers
why are there Black and Asian elves!!!!!!!!!!
I mean, there is nothing wrong with diversity, but what bothers you is probably the bad execution of diversity representing.
@@CinemaEnigmaa No. In Appendix F of The Return of the King, he explicitly describes Elves as "fair of skin":
Elves has been used to translate both Quendi, ‘the speakers’, the High-elven name of all their kind, and Eldar, the name of the Three Kindreds that sought for the Undying Realm and came there at the beginning of Days (save the Sindar only). This old word was indeed the only one available, and was once fitted to apply to such memories of this people as Men preserved, or to the makings of Men’s minds not wholly dissimilar. But it has been diminished, and to many it may now suggest fancies either pretty or silly, as unlike to the Quendi of old as are butterflies to the swift falcon - not that any of the Quendi ever possessed wings of the body, as unnatural to them as to Men. They were a race high and beautiful, the older Children of the world, and among them the Eldar were as kings, who now are gone: the People of the Great Journey, the People of the Stars.
They were tall, fair of skin and grey-eyed, though their locks were dark, save in the golden house of Finarfin; and their voices had more melodies than any mortal voice that now is heard. They were valiant, but the history of those that returned to Middle-earth in exile was grievous; and though it was in far-off days crossed by the fate of the Fathers, their fate is not that of Men. Their dominion passed long ago, and they dwell now beyond the circles of the world, and do not return.
Wow, thanks, and yes, you are absolutely right about this. But as i said in the video, the book was written in 1954, and so they have to restructure it for modern audiences. And to be honest, although I totally see your point, but i find it wrong.
@@CinemaEnigmaa PJ did well with his 'adaptation' despite its flaws and differences from the books but he did not 'restructure for modern audiences'. What are you saying?
@goodputin4324 I'm not talking about lord of the rings. I believe Peter Jackson did the right amount of everything.
My point is the overdoings we see in rings of power.
It is by no means compelling viewing, but it is a significant improvement on the first season.
Thank you exactly 👍
It is full of things that if they did from the last season, it wouldn't have been this bad
Not really, the same cringe rubbish, more like a parody of Tolkien than Tolkien.
@bdleo300 yes it's just a little bit of hope sometimes and they don't even give us that🥲😂
