If you want some advice...
Start practicing this rudiment, very very slowly. It goes:
R L L K, R L L K, R L L K, R L L K.
Play the R and the K as accents, forte. Play the L L as ghost notes, piano. Go very very slowly at first and get that feel of digging with your left hand, like you're scooping out a spoonful of cereal from a bowl.
Once you get that rudiment down, here are some other stickings that are extremely useful:
R L R R L L K K, R L R R L L K K
