The Chimchar one reminds me of what happened yesterday when I was trying to catch a Pichu and tossed my Umbreon's Pokeball just as it despawned. Umbreon's ball flew right over the edge of the cliff. And I've had a similar thing to Vespiquen. I was in a Distortion and I had a shaking tree and out spawned a Alpha Burmy I'm like omfg!
That bit with the Buizel gives me conniptions man. Took me like an hour to finally get one that’s the right size. Problem is, it was a SHINY! So then I ran around looking for another one and that took like an hour and a half. While I think the experience made Buizel one of of not my favorite water type (weirdly enough,) I’ll never get those hours back
One the one hand, I love that paras and parasect's agressive and swarming lines up with them being "zombies". However, they can take a backseat to Hippototas and Hippowdon. Our blood feud will be legendary.
When mikey said “save the game” it reminded me of when I found my first shiny ever and didn’t know saving before catching was a concept, I got mad ptsd of when I lost bidoof
Hot take, Sabi and Ress are just as surprisingly scary as Volo. Ress with his Lv. 60 bidoof, starly, and shinx, then Sabi with Rhyperior, Magmortar, and Electivire in a 3v1 battle then immediately a Braviary. Not as hard, but it catches you off guard.
Sabi is definitely the toughest of the 3v1 battles. Usually the extra Pokémon are just weaker backup for the main one, but Magmortar and Rhyperior can actually be fairly dangerous themselves if you're not prepared to take both on.
Oh yeah, I was definitely caught off guard by Sabi's Pokemon. You would think such a character wouldn't have powerful Pokemon but holy cow did I underestimate it.
Seeing that trainer do some Monster hunter dodge rolls made me realise how few people actually know of that series. And it reminded me of the adept guild style. So many easy mounts as an sns main.
So, the thing with Alphas spinning, is that if you stand juuuuuust outside their aggro range, a little bug triggers where the game simultaneously thinks it knows you're there, and that it *doesn't* know you're there, so they start to continuously trigger the "engage the invader" thing, only to promptly remember "Oh, wait, you're too far away," over and over again. Hence, the spinning.
Just yesterday, I was traveling around to collect some of the wisps and I randomly encountered a shiny alpha lopunny. Scared the crap outta me cuz it just happened outta nowhere
Omg u r so lucky, Lopunny is my favorite normal type! (Not for adult reasons I find that ppl making r34 out of it is gross.) I love it's design and love bunnies Where did u find it?
Funnily enough, Origin Dialga does in fact have it’s mouth still! The piece covering where it’s mouth would be flips up like a helmet’s visor when it uses Roar of Time! I have yet to see if Origin Palkia is in the same boat, but I still was very shocked
Can confirm that Origin Palkia also has a mouth plate but it flips downward like Optimus Prime’s battle mask. Seems like the main staple of an origin forme, movable face plates
I just realized that in Pokemon Legends Arceus the potato Mochi on the plate when they give it to you looks pretty identical to the tumble stones that you used to make Pokeballs
13:30 I call them the "Psyduck group" because the first one I discovered was Psyduck. Pokémon like machop, bergmite and more and really good Pokémon in my opinion and are friendly to you but if you catch, defeat or throw an item at one, they will all get angry even the newly spawned ones. It's SOOOO anoyying🙄
Gastrodon during my shiny hunt for them was ANNOYING AS EVERYTHING I had the same problem as when I caught one, every one e,se becomes angry and the newly spawned ones become angry 1 second after they spawn for no reason, I later gave up on the shiny hunt because there shiny is bad, I also had the same problem in a later shiny hunt.
Y'know 17:28 gives me a particular hearty chuckle because a friend of mine plan's to play a kuo-toa in a future D&D campaign that thinks it is a chicken, and he said that exact line, just reminds me of that and how it made me laugh
I never knew that the buizel quest had a height requirement, I had already caught one and just gave it the first random one from the pasture I saw. I had no clue people were struggling with it so much😂
The height limit for buizel that i saw was 2 foot 7 inches, and the guy wanted one that was at minimum 2 foot 8 inches. Literally just catch an alpha one and call it a day lol
You'll know when you get one because a research task for Buizel is, you guessed it, catching big ones. I'm just glad I didn't have to show him every last one.
My first white out/black out was from accidentally boosting off a cliff with wyrdeer, I also beat all of the lords except avalugg without dying. It was pretty neat.
2:33 actually whenever a pokemon hits the edge it's not that it despawns, it's that for whatever reason when a pokemon falls it's like they are effects by the gravity of the fucking sun and just disappear below
I can explain why when a Pokémon sees you and the new ones that spawn know that you are there, The Pokémon that saw you would probably tell the other Pokémon like “hey, there’s a trainer in the grass and they threw a poke ball at me” and then they know that you’re there. Either that or something else
I've really enjoyed watching peoples reaction to the fight with giratina when it changes to its origin form. Such an epic moment that took many by surprise
My first Shiny in Legends was a Glalie. I was in the Icelands, just exploring around and trying to complete the Pokedex, and I was a little bored and crouched down in the snow, waiting for a good opportunity to catch this Ambipom I just found. As I'm sitting there, this Shiny Glalie just drifts into my field of vision, casual as can be. My excitement-level immediately hits the roof, since I normally have very horrible luck finding Shinies, and I excitedly catch it in an Ultra Ball. My second Shiny was a Magmar. There was a Magmar outbreak, which I didn't care about, but I had to go to the volcano anyway because I needed a Magby. I fast-traveled to the volcano, summoned Braviary, and looked down as the Magmar swarm spawned in, only to see the Shiny amongst them. I excitedly dropped down, caught it, and it is now a Magmortar.
I had my first shiny fail EVER just yesterday, coincidentally in this game actually. It was an alpha Electabuzz, and it's actually one of my favorite colors (I like a lot of pinks and pink variations). It killed itself with recoil, and took out nearly half of my fully-evolved story playthrough party.
My first shiny fail in this game was 1 hour into the game, came across a sleeping shiny wurmple. I messed up the controls early on and instead of hitting it with the ball, I threw the ball next to it, what caused theshiny to wake up and run away :')
Okay seriously, was the Avalugg trial that hard for people? It was my favorite one, the trial was actually easy for me; much easier than the other trials (Arcanine and Electrode were the worst).
I never understood people's difficulty with Arcanine or Avalugg. I beat all of the nobles in one try, but Electrode was genuinely infuriating. Those homing shots felt almost impossible to deal with.
Here's a minor tip I used for the Buizel job: Catching big Buizel is also a research task on your Pokédex. If you nab a Buizel and see some progress made on this task, then it's rather likely to be big enough for that request. Showing him every individual Buizel you catch is unnecessary and only adds on to the time you'll spend here. Just be observant and efficient. Catch the things until the game itself says you got a big one.
15:38 Psyduck has been my 2nd favourite shiny since the episode that Goh caught Golurk, and Gyarados has always been my favourite shiny Pokémon. Also, just in general, I think that Gliscor could have a character similar to “Blaziken mask” from “Pokémon XY”
It took me so long to find my shiny haunter when I heard the shiny sound! They look so similar to the original that I had to slowly catch all the haunter in the area by surprise.
About that Avalugg. You were throwing the Poké Ball at Avalugg itself, rather than onto the ground of the ledge in front of Avalugg, which (in case you didn’t notice with Decidueye earlier) is WHERE THEY’RE STANDING during that phase! It was NOT a glitch, just a misplay.
i had caught an alpha buizel- in fact it was literally my first alpha so when i got the quest to give it away, i was hesitant because i wanted to keep it. but i didn't have anything else so i did it and i'm so glad i caught it in the first place now
Apparently I lucked out with the buizel quest too because I caught two before I even got the quest, and one of them happened to be a bigger one without being an alpha so I just gave it to him.
I never knew it was a meme thing for no one finding a big Buizel. Literally the first one I caught was massive, so I just had to go find a tiny boy to replace him on my team.
when the big buizel quest came i was like "oh sure i have a buizel" and it was 1 buizel that i had caught.... it was big enough.... my condolences to the people who have months wasted because of this quest.
I feel that clip of John finding two of pretty much the same shiny. I found a shiny Gligar in Coronet Highlands during the story and I had left and came back, walked up a hill, heard the shiny sound, turned around to find..... another shiny Gligar lol

I don't think it's the space time distortion that caused it but cool coincidence!
I love how Mikey used to get so mad when GB came on and now he’s just like “hey man what’s up” in the most casual tune
8:38
Palkia: I wish you could take up all of *my time.*
Dialga: hee hee.
A ground type will wreck sabi tho
@@pixelturtle5041 earthquake doesn't hit adjacent mons anymore and i'm not even sure if it's in the gane
@@itsonon Ik that earth quake isnt in the game, but earth power/high horsepower works just fine
15:45 I also got a shiny Gyrados, and ALSO named it Bloodbath!
That surprised me that we came up with the same nickname for the same Pokémon!
If I had a nickel...
I actually managed to find three full odds shiny Pokémon in legends arceus (excluding the guaranteed shiny ponyta from one of the requests)
I got a shiny gyarados but I named mine 'shiny water serpent' in elvish (Sílalhim)
Just yesterday, I was traveling around to collect some of the wisps and I randomly encountered a shiny alpha lopunny. Scared the crap outta me cuz it just happened outta nowhere
Same I was just trying to alpha buziel for the side quest and when I was in the water I saw a shiny alpha Magikarp I was so excited
Omg u r so lucky, Lopunny is my favorite normal type! (Not for adult reasons I find that ppl making r34 out of it is gross.)
I love it's design and love bunnies
Where did u find it?
@@anime_idiot2717 the alpha is located south of the giant tree in the obsidian fieldlands.
GIGACHAD
Until you regain your senses and understand it's ,, just a lopunny lol.
“Beards and anime girls are mutually exclusive…
…usually.”
That one got me good! XD
So if the potato mochi goes stale could you use it to make pokeballs?
People out here just ignoring that we got THREE new pronunciations in this video.
"POKE-Min."
"Are-SAY-us."
"Gar-KHOMP."
The Buizel Quest was so easy for me I just caught 2 and then I already had one
I just decided to give him an alpha buizel, that's it.
You'll know when you get one because a research task for Buizel is, you guessed it, catching big ones. I'm just glad I didn't have to show him every last one.
@@1tsJustKetchup the max for regular buizel is 2.7 you need to give him an alpha
My first white out/black out was from accidentally boosting off a cliff with wyrdeer, I also beat all of the lords except avalugg without dying.
It was pretty neat.
I lost to Arcanine and Electrode, but I beat Avalugg without issue.
Did you know that you can fall off a significantly higher distance from Wyrdeer without fainting than if you were to fall off normally.
2:33 actually whenever a pokemon hits the edge it's not that it despawns, it's that for whatever reason when a pokemon falls it's like they are effects by the gravity of the fucking sun and just disappear below
Can you do a video where you re make the rivals teams using new Pokémon? Kind of like what you did with gym leaders.
:( Sad that the replies are just bots
Anyway yeah i kinda like that idea
@@QP_lite I appreciate you :3
12:34 my first time was really early game and got me *Gengar!* (also Ursaring) but really it was great to finally have a playthrough with Gengar.
The Vespiqueen one with that sound of a guy crying made me laugh so hard and every single one on the ones that Mikey laughed.
I can explain why when a Pokémon sees you and the new ones that spawn know that you are there,
The Pokémon that saw you would probably tell the other Pokémon like “hey, there’s a trainer in the grass and they threw a poke ball at me” and then they know that you’re there. Either that or something else
8:53 the way Mikey reads it so tentatively only to realize what it is spelling seconds later was so funny lol
I cant figure it out what is it?
Me neither

@@GrenadierTTV yes but it’s patched
12:19 in pokemon let’s go pikachu and Eevee you’re allowed to do that to them, I think it’s fair
For anyone wondering, the rap part is done by Cam Steady who has several other extremely well made Pokémon related music
I excitedly dropped down, caught it, and it is now a Magmortar.
my first and second shinys were both starly
My first and second shinys were both Sneasle's and the fist Sneasle was an alpha.
My first shiny was a tentacool that ambushed me
I had my first shiny fail EVER just yesterday, coincidentally in this game actually.
It was an alpha Electabuzz, and it's actually one of my favorite colors (I like a lot of pinks and pink variations).
It killed itself with recoil, and took out nearly half of my fully-evolved story playthrough party.
Rip
Zubat: I am the most annoying Pokemon of all time!
Paras: Hold my shrooms
My first shiny fail in this game was 1 hour into the game, came across a sleeping shiny wurmple. I messed up the controls early on and instead of hitting it with the ball, I threw the ball next to it, what caused theshiny to wake up and run away :')
I failed evolving it- DANG YOU YOU BAD SHINT DUSKOX!
Only if you save
@Abby It was the day of the release, so i didnt know then 😢
Okay seriously, was the Avalugg trial that hard for people? It was my favorite one, the trial was actually easy for me; much easier than the other trials (Arcanine and Electrode were the worst).
I never understood people's difficulty with Arcanine or Avalugg. I beat all of the nobles in one try, but Electrode was genuinely infuriating. Those homing shots felt almost impossible to deal with.
first try them all but Avalugg died 1 time
To me the Avalugg one was the only hard one, the only trouble i had was that i couldn't dodge half of the attacks.
avalugg was the only one i lost to, mainly because the area you have to dodge kept screwing me over because they attacks kept cornering me
I didn’t because I played enter the gungeon
the ursaring running in front of the teddiursa like "GET DOWN MR. PRESIDENT."
Here's a minor tip I used for the Buizel job:
Catching big Buizel is also a research task on your Pokédex. If you nab a Buizel and see some progress made on this task, then it's rather likely to be big enough for that request. Showing him every individual Buizel you catch is unnecessary and only adds on to the time you'll spend here. Just be observant and efficient. Catch the things until the game itself says you got a big one.
This isn't foolproof because the threshold for it to tick off that research task is lower than the necessary 2'8". Still it at least narrows it down.
23:20 is easily the best one here. I laughed so hard I surprised myself
that haunter be like:
OK I PULL UP
It took me so long to find my shiny haunter when I heard the shiny sound! They look so similar to the original that I had to slowly catch all the haunter in the area by surprise.
I've noticed that I usually skip the ads in the video, but grunty boy has a certain charm that keeps me watching.
As you should; we all love Grunty Boi
About that Avalugg. You were throwing the Poké Ball at Avalugg itself, rather than onto the ground of the ledge in front of Avalugg, which (in case you didn’t notice with Decidueye earlier) is WHERE THEY’RE STANDING during that phase! It was NOT a glitch, just a misplay.
i had caught an alpha buizel- in fact it was literally my first alpha so when i got the quest to give it away, i was hesitant because i wanted to keep it. but i didn't have anything else so i did it
and i'm so glad i caught it in the first place now
Apparently I lucked out with the buizel quest too because I caught two before I even got the quest, and one of them happened to be a bigger one without being an alpha so I just gave it to him.
Same
21:30 thanks for making me roll over the floor laughing like I was on drugs 😂 😂 😂
I never knew it was a meme thing for no one finding a big Buizel. Literally the first one I caught was massive, so I just had to go find a tiny boy to replace him on my team.
11:13
Dude for me the avalugg fight was the hardest. It took me so many tries.
it was the easiest for me 😭
Avalugg was one is the easiest for me. Arcanine was harder just from the arena's stupid shape.
11:46 He's talking about the unknown and I know that because I also found that unknown looking for clefa
I totally agree with you Mikey that Hisuian Braviary is one of the best shinies, I even got one myself! And it was on my final team!
20:49
My Favourite Thing about Legends Arceus is that we can now have skits like this as actual in-Game Videos xD
0:51 this is why flying type beats fighting.
when the big buizel quest came i was like "oh sure i have a buizel" and it was 1 buizel that i had caught....
it was big enough....
my condolences to the people who have months wasted because of this quest.
Multiple 2'6 and 2'7 buizels :[
still cannot believe my first shiny alpha was a turtwig
i love him so much i named him Subway
*SUBMAS FANS would like to know your location*
I feel that clip of John finding two of pretty much the same shiny. I found a shiny Gligar in Coronet Highlands during the story and I had left and came back, walked up a hill, heard the shiny sound, turned around to find..... another shiny Gligar lol

4:49 Since the geodude was angry it would join the bandit fight and thus would be uncatchable since you can't catch pokemon in a trainer battle.
