I like how in Arceus’ dex entry it says that you were just given a part of Arceus, which is a cool explanation for why a 10 year old can catch god
I am pretty sure we have been given confirmation that every arceus we catch is just a n avatar of the actual arceus. Forgot where i found it though.
The funny thing is, I theorised this was the case a few years ago as it did seem incredibly strange to me that you could catch god with no repurcussions, plus the existence of multiple individuals. Fiction tends to have godly entities utilise physical avatars for the mortal races to be able to comprehend them, which is what I based my theory off of, and how the "thousand arms" of Arceus were perhaps referring to the catchable Arceus avatars. I got talked down.
So P:LA having this confirmed made me feel pretty smug.

The Volo fight was the best fight in pokemon since Ultra Necrozma. Sure plenty of people guessed it would be him, but how many people expected him to throw Giratina at you?

I love how everyone playing this game knew what would happen to that Wurmple and yet the "plot twist" was still entertaining. There wasn't a single person who thought that Wurmple would ACTUALLY become a beautifly and yet it was beautiful.
Plot twist: you get a wurple and save. turn autosave off. evolve it. get silcoon. give it to him it becomes cascoon.

Honestly really love how Nintendo finally released a Pokémon game that feels original. The concept of going back into time to when Pokémon were first starting to be caught, and the huge open world aspect that comes with it is just beautiful.
And it's also like, fun and somewhat challenging, at least compared to SwSh lol
I really wish there had been more town building aspects to it. Like needing ground pokemon and grass pokemon to clear roads and decorate the town. Fighting pokemon to do the heavy lifting in helping build or move things. I really want the pokemon series to try new and more original concept for the franchise cuz THIS FRANCHISE NEEDS VARIETY then gym battles.

@Dragongamer 7 I think the point of Legends is to explore a region's past, it's probably why it has "legends" in the name. That said, it would be interesting to see what Zygarde was doing during Yveltal and Xerneas's old war. It's just weird af that it's supposed to be the Rayquaza of XY, but it doesn't do much in-game.
As for Team Flare, tbh it's better to read the Adventures manga or watch the anime. They did a decent job at portraying Team Flare as a competent villain team.

I do heavily appreciate the music i recognize from Pokemon x/y, as Pokemon Y was my first pokemon game. *(Hence why i did not understand the Fairy implementation... And too young to memorize pokemon cards the short time it felt like i had them)*

I love that if you say "no..." to knowing what pokemon are that technically insinuates Arceus kidnapped a random kid from a COMPLETELY UNRELATED WORLD WITHOUT HIM AS A GOD to do his bidding.
Or even funnier, they could be a type of person that didn't get out much. There's tons of characters that live around Pokémon but can't name half of them or that the pokemon exists. James and Brock would be examples.
I like how everyone saw the guy naming their wrumple "beauty-something" and absolutely knew the wrumple would evolve into a dustox. Like it's a joke as old as time.

@@nathanford2072 It's a 100% chance of being a dustox. Even if the completely invisible factors that make wrumple evolve into either cascoon or silcoon (ehrm personality value I think?) turn out to match silcoon's, the wrumple will evolve into a cascoon.
It's just a quest that makes the dude appreciate his pokemon despite their appearance. A nice message, and a funny inside joke that hits pokedex completists, nuzlokers and shiny hunters hard ¯\_(ツ)_/¯

I don’t know why, but that final moment at 1:27:49 felt like one of those badass trade blows moment where both guys land the final hit on each other at the same time, and one keels over injured while the other looks smug before falling dead. Like, imagine if you were in the red and heard the final buzzer noise when that happened, but then it still counted as a victory for you because you struck first. Imagine the tension you’d feel in that moment.
Looking back on this game now (July 2023) what a breath of fresh air this game was. It’s a shame Scarlet and Violet didn’t stay in the same vein
Genuinely loved it, it's the first Pokemon game I've really enjoyed in a while since B&W2.
Fun new mechanics, I hope they eventually do some sorta sequel, the legends games should keep going.
Pokemon Infinite Fusion is really good too. Very different from Legends but pretty damn good. You guys have obviously heard of it if you watch Alpharad

I used only ghost types in this game, so the final boss giving me the spooky plate and the best Giratina fight ever was just perfect for me personally. Ghost vs ghost, and my boys came out on top.
Hearing the botw music/sound effects in his videos give me MAJOR nostalgia, I played it every day for months when it came out and still play today, but these sounds make me happy for some reason

When I first played through the game, when I found out that you could even get Eevee in the first area, I spent a whole two hours just LOOKING for where to find one, and in that time I got a shiny Buizel, a shiny Shinx, and no Eevee's

Just flew east from the first camp and outbreak there it was. His name is Nuka the Espeon.
Jokes on you I spent 12 hours searching and was rewarded with 1 shiny Eevee, and that’s it, no other shinies, at least I got the eevee…

Volo is by far my favourite villain in pokemon now. I never been this scared or frustrated with a trainer before, I got wooped like 20 times by his basically 8 pokemons, it didn't really helped that my whole team was 6 levels lower than his also. His theme slaps and his designs is top tier. I never, in any pokemon game felt such relief and then immediately major anxiety at this part 1:16:49 , I just barely finished off the first Giratina stage with like 5 hp on my last pokemon and then it just came back from the dead.

From the calming feeling of the town, to the panic of running from an alpha pokemon at a low level, it really is awesome. And sure, it doesn't have as many actual pokemon battles in it, but it still does. You can still catch Pokemon the old fashioned way of battling them if you want as well. It just isn't a requirement. You can use your skills of stealth, dodge the attacks and stun them, or battle with your pokemon. I really hope they do more of this in the future.

@@syndere6755 I know. I had to go back to the village a total of 10 times to finally get a tree to shake in that area. Took me 10 more times to get a Cherubi.

I recommend checking out AustinJohnPlays’ videos on the wisps. He helped me find the last five or so that I was missing and I felt so silly for missing them. Also check out his video on Space Time rifts to make sure you’re in the right area to get Shieldon ;D
The wisps are much easier to find at night
