    • @gengarzilla1685

      She gives me better battles than Whitney, tbh. Whitney's "difficulty" largely comes from players still having first or middle stage mons against something with the base stat total expected of a fully evolved Pokémon. And without a double weakness. Honestly, if these two switched places then Clair would be even harder and Whitney would be a letdown.

    • @craigyeates1854

    • @LoudWaffle
      @LoudWaffle 11 месяцев назад +7

      @@gengarzilla1685 Yeah, I think Whitney's difficulty often comes from complete lack of preparation. Playing casually, people will start the battle against her completely unprepared, and with great stats for that point in the game, self-healing, and the very dangerous if unanswered Rollout, she can actually wipe teams which is very rare in casual runs, and unexpected that early into the game.
      But when you come prepared for her she's very easy, because the threat she brings is very one-note. Like a Geodude completely walls her.

    something to note; while nature's are important at times it's a common pitfall to over value them especially in regular games. Granted moments can come up where you miss a kill or take a bit more dmg but overall it doesn't change enough for how much people treat it. I've seen many people give up good pokémon that would've helped tremendously because of this.

    • @havoc697
      @havoc697 9 месяцев назад +3

      Huge agree. I think for standard gameplay you can largely ignore natures for the most part. If you're for super optimal pokemon then sure, but I've spent far too long watching my friend hunt for good nature pokemon over just playing the game.
      Especially when they aren't even going to like EV train or anything, like it's helpful sure but it's not the end of of world
