I've been crocheting for 50 years but, until now, never made a beanie. Your instructions were clear and easy to follow. 'Perfect fit for my new granddaughter! Thank you.

Making my first ever crochet hat now! These are the only crochet hat instructions I can actually follow. Usually videos just go in one ear and out the other, and the little instructional articles and stuff are just so long and boring.
Thank you for taming my ADHD for 12 minutes. Idk how you did it, but you're freaking awesome

Today I made my 100th hat to donate off your videos from size newborn to adult. Some I left just as beanies, some got a cuff or a pompon, some got flowers, some were made I to animals, and some were made into monsters. Your videos are very easy to follow and you are very clear in your directions. If another turorial says to start with a beanie I always use yours even if they have a pattern. I find they fit true to size and are quick and easy. Thank you.

Yea, these are the only videos I can actually follow (I absorb more reading than watching or listening, but I just couldn't stay focused enough to read an instruction article).
This woman is the only reason I was ever able to learn how to make cute little baby hats 😂

You don't start with that infernal "magic circle"! You rock! I find the circle very difficult to work with and just overall annoying so thank you for the alternative. I like everything about your videos!

Literally started crochet today. I had no experience before. I just looked at a video explain the crochet vocabularies like slip knot, chain, and single crochet and figured the rest were somewhat similar. Then I went ahead to making this hat. I made the playing speed slower and learned the half double crochet by simply copying your hand movements. The video was so helpful! I plan to make hats to donate to the American Heart Association and this is wonderful.

I watched your video and made my very first beanie. Wow! That is incredible for me since I do no crochet but, decided I would try. Out of all the videos I have watched, you are the best and presentation. I subscribed to your channel. My plan is to make beanies with yarn braids for children with cancer. Once again thank you are an excellent instructor. God bless you.

The pattern is by far the most simple and easy to follow and to make! Thank you so much for this pattern. It is excellent! I had a yarn that was not chunky; it was super soft and more delicate -- I just added an extra row in the center (did the 2 dc, 1 dc pattern for one more row) and then just proceeded with the rest. Great pattern!

You are genius, I have problem find the right yarn, the chunky (#5) yarn is too thick I think and it suggested used 8mm hook, so I think it’s not the right one. Could you tell me what exactly yarn you used? Thanks.

This was a great tutorial. I've already made 2 hats for my daughter and a few others for friend's children. Since my stitches always seem to be looser I used a smaller hook and that evened everything out for the size. Most people don't give measurements like you and those were super helpful. I look forward to trying some other things off your videos.

I had zero experience in crocheting but had to improvise a costume for my 3 month old for Öskudagur in Iceland (like Halloween or carnival, where kids dress up), so I decided to make a little Dobby hat (Harry Potter fans here :)). Your tutorial saved me and I was able to make an amazing base for the Dobby costume. All the other tutorials left me confused at one point or another but yours is so easy to follow and well explained. I love it! Thank you so so so much. Maybe I will take up crocheting now. :)

My friend already has everything she needs for her baby next month. Couldn't figure out what to get her. It was sitting in front of me in the form of yarn. This video you made helped me make her little boy a beanie to keep his little head warm. If I had thicker yarn it would look less "hole-y" but it's still really cute!

Thank you so much for a clear cut video for this! It was super easy, slow enough and detailed enough for me to understand and follow each step! I do wish you would have finish off the tie end and tail. Thanks again!

Awesome video, LOVE the accent. Great instructions no matter the level of the crocheter. I put a twist on the pattern and when doing the 9 rounds of dbl crochet I did the "ribbed" crochet stitch, I LOVE the way it turned out. Thanks for an awesome video, Keep up the good work. Be Blessed.

So happy to find an easy way to make a beanie. Now I can make a beanie to match the blanket I just made and the border is double crocheted so its like a perfect match

Thank you so much for posting this wonderful little beanie! I just finished a baby blanket for my neighbor who is having a baby boy and had yarn left over. So adding a hat that matched seemed like a good idea.
