This is a brilliant video no messing about straight to the pattern easy to understand and no waffling..just pure delight in making this and such a lovely voice. Straight to the point..perfect!! Definately checking all these out...thank you so much
Finally! Videos that give the real deal - instructions that are easy and that work up into beanies for all sizes. Thank you! I recently started crocheting for a local charity and have followed video after video and undone so many beanies and partial beanies that weren’t working out. I’m on a roll now, thanks to you, and enjoying every moment! Your beanies will keep lots of little, and bigger, heads toasty and happy here in Delaware. 🤗💕☃️
I have never crocheted before EVER. I watched your easy, clear view and well instructed video and have managed to make a no mistakes, perfect sized, beautiful looking beanie first time. I finished it in no time. Thank you
I just want to let you know your the only person that I have found on you tube that explains everything including when you get to the end of the round you show us exactly where to put the hook in the chain I only will watch your you tubs.
You explain things so well! I've watched many videos on here for beginners and whilst I've learnt (and practising) the basic stitches, you really make it easy and simple to follow. You've mentioned a lot of little tips and the going by the length in inches is so much better to understand. I'm soooo glad I found your videos. Now I'm off to delete the others and practise my hat from this tutorial!
This is my 2nd hat. I did 0-6 months and now I want to do 6-12. I've been crocheting for 1 month now and your hat is the easiest to follow. Thank you so much!
oooh finally an easy video for 6 to 12 months! thank you( posting with my husband's account as I don't have any :p ) all the rest are newborn and my daughter is 13 months so I'm happy I found your video!!
Thank you so much for the great tutorial! I managed to make the two sizes for the infant and then from 6 to 12 and I am giving them to a friend for her grandchild. I made them and everyone loved them! They were easy but your teaching made it even easier! Thanks again!
I just finished the 6- 12 months beanie and it came out perfectly. Thank you much for all your beanie tutorials. You explain everything clearly to understand for beginners like me and make it simple to make. My baby beanie is for my unborn grand daughter. And I'm gonna make a matching beanie for my daughter with your adult beanie tutorials. Ty again and hope to learn more crochet with your tutorials in the future Take Care.
I LOVE you, Happy Berry! You have taught me so much. I look forward to crocheting because of you. Your tutorials are SO easy to follow and understand. You speak really clearly and repeat just when I feel like I'm falling behind. You're the BEST!
I love these videos. They are so helpful especially since you measure the hat. Sometimes I crochet too tight which makes the hats too small but since you add the measurements it really helps
Love your tutorials. Thank you. This tutorial can be categorized as made in one hour and a half. And you can use as a base and change colors add different stitches to give a whole new look.
Happy Berry: I lu ur tutorials. U r so calm, cool, patient, thorough in xplaining yur every st. U don't rush to finish. And leave me behind confused. You also gives choices to dressup the different size hats in different colors one wishes. Thank you HB. 🤗🤗
I cannot thank you enough for simplifying the crochet of a beanie. What I find intriguing is that you cater for all sizes. Yippee I am off to get started on my first one
I usually start my hats from the brim and work towards the middle which means I will have to take measurements before I get started. You have spared me the trouble of having to do that. Thank you
Part 2 of my mini series on how to crochet a quick and easy beanie for any age, today is size 6 - 12 months. Uses chunky/bulky yarn and a 6mm crochet hook (^-^) ruclips.net/video/mXGCuEJ_o2o/видео.html
I just finished my hat it's adorable. Thank you for the great video. You do a great job!!! You explain everything very well and the videos are the best I have seen, Thanks again!!!
I made this yesterday and it came out amazing! Super simple instructions and easy to follow. I used multi-coloured yard for the hat and then used a solid colour for the last round (matched the pompom on top!) Thanks!
Hi! I really love these videos. They are so helpful, I am a beginner.. after watching your videos, I can make beanie for my kid soooo easy, many thanks :)
Lovely easy to follow , just found your channel, and i am just in the middle of my first of i hope many beanies for my grandaughter (6 months old ) cant wait to finish it, thanks again
The best video on making a baby cap on the internet!! Thank you so much. I have a question- if you want to use a finer yarn, is the count the same? Keep up the great work- you have no idea how much it’s appreciated!!!🌺
Very nice video, so far. I'm watching it to refresh my memory on how to crochet, now that I have acquired a baby granddaughter!!! I still have my old metal hooks, but am thinking that maybe I need some new ones. Does anyone have any particular favorites?
+nancy green Hello, I started crocheting again after quite a few years. I purchased a really nice and cute set of hooks called ergonomic crochet hooks with grips on Amazon. I believe it has 9 hooks with grips on the ends. It comes in a cute roll up fabric pouch too! There were a few other items included and it's only 10.99! I love it. Congrats on the new baby!!!
it would really help a lot more if you can post the pattern in the video description. I'm more of a pattern reader, but I do appreciate the video I need to be able to watch and catch on.
+HappyBerry Crochet Humbly I thank you, I didn't even notice it was posted. I was so focused on listening so I could write it down for myself. Thank you.
so to increase, i would just an another single dc before another double dc? Like 2 dc in one, then s dc, s dc, sdc, sdc.? and just keep adding? Is that the way it works?
great video to follow but if you don't want a seam to show don't do the chain two past the increase rows just go around til you get right length then i do one single crochet around the edge.
used this tutorial double crochet by double crochet. I'm using bulky 5 yarn and J/10-5.75MM crochet hook. i don't see how this is supposed to fit my 13month old when it swallows my 3 year old's head and fits me. But i got me a nice new hat! :) i just need one for my son now.
my problem isn't the length, it's how loose the hat is. I'm thinking if i didn't do an extra round or 2 that it would fit snugly like i want instead of loose.
thank u so much i finnaly know how to make a baby bennie from know on if i want to learn new things im watching your videos and u explain your videos sp well thank u ;););)
Hello. Thanks for this simple video. I have a quick question -- is the procedure the same if one was to use Medium Size 4 yarn? Will this make the same size hat?
Stuck on row 4. Does it matter if the 2dc doesn't lines up with the 3 row?? I don't know why mine isn't lining up. I did the first 3 rows to the letter. Thanks
my j hook says 10-5.75...it's a boye hook...will this still work? I tried using my k hook that came with the set and it was 6.5mm. Did pattern exactly like you instructed and it turned out like a basket/helmet and ended up being too big for my lil guy. I'm half tempted to pull it all out but could be a cute catch all basket on his changing table. I'm wondering if it could've been due to the yarn I used...it looks a tad bigger than what youre using but thought it would be a nice heavy warm hat for winter! thanks in advance!
I was just wondering what to do with the string at the top of the Hat?? I cannot figure it out and I have not seen her do anything with it but it disappeared and I am confused what to do with it 😕
I exactly followed ur steps... but by the end the length and circumference of my work differs.... i got 5 inc instead of 6.5... can u tell me how to correct it.
This is a brilliant video no messing about straight to the pattern easy to understand and no waffling..just pure delight in making this and such a lovely voice. Straight to the point..perfect!! Definately checking all these out...thank you so much

I just want to let you know your the only person that I have found on you tube that explains everything including when you get to the end of the round you show us exactly where to put the hook in the chain I only will watch your you tubs.

it would really help a lot more if you can post the pattern in the video description. I'm more of a pattern reader, but I do appreciate the video I need to be able to watch and catch on.

+HappyBerry Crochet Humbly I thank you, I didn't even notice it was posted. I was so focused on listening so I could write it down for myself. Thank you.
Love, love your videos! Do you have a video on how to put the edging on?
Debbie Smitley Thank you for your kind feedback, but I don't have a tutorial for edging at the moment, so sorry.
Hi I am using worsted weight # 4 what needle size would i use
You're video is very helpful thank you..
so to increase, i would just an another single dc before another double dc? Like 2 dc in one, then s dc, s dc, sdc, sdc.?

great video to follow but if you don't want a seam to show don't do the chain two past the increase rows just go around til you get right length then i do one single crochet around the edge.
I made the 6-12 month beanie yesterday. I love it, first hat I've made. Don't suppose you have a link for same age mittens? Thankyou x
used this tutorial double crochet by double crochet.
I'm thinking if i didn't do an extra round or 2 that it would fit snugly like i want instead of loose.
i do appreciate the video and the effort put into making it.
thank u so much i finnaly know how to make a baby bennie from know on if i want to learn new things im watching your videos and u explain your videos sp well thank u ;););)
so well i mean
kacey carter I am so happy you enjoy my tutorials :)
Hiiii what do we do with the scrap yarn and the tail
Can I get the pattern for the beanie pls!! I enjoy the Video, very good teacher!! I need to make my new Granddaughter that Thank u!!
Are you counting the chain 2 as one of the 48 stitches or no? Thanks.
great video I made the beanie but it doesn't fit. It is small. what changes for a thin yarn?
Terrific tutorial.
Hello. Thanks for this simple video. I have a quick question -- is the procedure the same if one was to use Medium Size 4 yarn? Will this make the same size hat?
Can you tell me how much knitting row this flat circle ?
Stuck on row 4. Does it matter if the 2dc doesn't lines up with the 3 row?? I don't know why mine isn't lining up. I did the first 3 rows to the letter. Thanks
Is the "top of the two chain" that you slip stitch the second chain or is it the next stitch after the second chain?
my j hook says 10-5.75...it's a boye hook...will this still work? I tried using my k hook that came with the set and it was 6.5mm. Did pattern exactly like you instructed and it turned out like a basket/helmet and ended up being too big for my lil guy. Wheres the 3 ye old video? I just need to knoow how many increases to do for the 3 yr old hat
I am following your video and my beanie is very loose and not "tight" like yours . What might I have done wrong?
Great video. how do I ad ear flaps ?
Nice and easy, great video. 👍making it now
I was just wondering what to do with the string at the top of the Hat??
I cannot figure it out and I have not seen her do anything with it but it disappeared and I am confused what to do with it 😕
Can someone please tell me the length of the hat from its crown?
GREAT JOB OF EXPLAINING. Tyou...SO SO MUCH. 😊
I have a question for you, what is the diameter of the circle at the end of the fourth row at the end of increasing?
I used a thinner thread and a thinner hook.... Should I make any changes in the beginning part?
Amazing 👍👍👍
how does the pattern change if i only double crotchet 10 into the circle rather than 12?
I used a bulky yarn f or my grandchild 6 months old. It was too big. I used 5 mm hook .
Do you know what could be wrong?
J'adore merci pour ce tuto je vais le faire
Merci beaucoup pour votre aimable commentaire Magali (^-^)
I exactly followed ur steps... but by the end the length and circumference of my work differs.... i got 5 inc instead of 6.5... can u tell me how to correct it.
Two questions. What is a J hook? Are you using UK terminology or US. Thanks
Im making this for my 10 months old cousin
Hi i wanted to ask. Can i add a pom pom on top of the head😅😅
If I want to use a size 4 yarn, what needle size should I use?
Your yarn can tell you
If you look on the cover the yarn has on it to hold it together when buying some will have a picture of the needle and tell you what size you need
Great step by step. Ty
