@@maryfeess2645trust me. My former fiance was 6'4 and weighed 200 pounds. He got stinking drunk a few times at the bar. This kid is boney so he was easily over served and being that young might make it worse. I also worry about ghb. Lots of men being drugged at bars in part of Austin ,Texas winding up in the river after leaving. Look it up. It's on youtube. Cops refuse to say serial killer. I think we have a young man missing in Texas right now too. From right in front of his apt .
Bc they were drunk kids. Their friend is 6'7" . Surely someone that sz would be safe. Nashville is seen as this clean cut southern city. Every city & town has predators.
So he never called anyone once he left the bar? Did he lose his phone? Younger people today don’t memorize phone numbers. If he dropped his phone, he’d be lost without any app to get him back to the hotel and he couldn’t make a call. And he’s in a strange environment.
Had a phone & an apple watch he could use. Someone spotted a young drunk guy who look loved like he had something they wanted. A phone, apple watch, money. He was an easy target. Young men have left bars for yrs only to disappear. The smiley face k*[[€R is a perfect example. My son worked downtown at a high-end restaurant. Of course he had to dress & look a certain way. For Xmas one yr I bought him a lined grungy military looking coat. He mentioned when he wore it no one approached him asking for money. Clean cut white kid, apple watch visible...... 🙏 for a miracle
@@darla218 No, I bet it did. In no camera footage was he accosted or even approached by anybody. He was suppose to turn left toward the hotel, but walked straight and then turned right instead. His phone last pinged right next to the lake too, near a sharp dropoff with lots of trees that falls into the lake. Sadly, he was pretty drunk and his friends said the bar prevented them from leaving with him, for those who asked why his friends didn't go with him. Apparently that's a policy because other guys, seeing a vulnerable drunk guy, will claim to be his "friends" and will walk out with him, trying to accost him, steal his money, beat him up, etc. I don't know why he didn't but he didn't use his Google Maps on his phone or just simply ask the many people walking around where his hotel was...but he didn't. He came with a group of several 100 students, as I recall. I think he fell down the embankment and if they don't find him in the trees, he fell in the water and drowned, poor guy, IMHO. If he had been beaten up or mugged by homeless guys, the other homeless guys would have ratted them out for $20. I think they will find him in the water, unfortunately.
With today’s technology there should be cameras all along the waterfront especially in cities where there are tons of bars and nightlife. This is so heartbreaking 💔 Keeping the family and Riley in my prayers 🙏💔🙏💔
It’s not the technology that’s the problem, it’s the cost. The cameras would cost the cities extra money which would have to be produced from raising taxes somewhere. Email the legislators and get the project passed. It’s going to come at a cost to everyone though.
@@thebewitchinghour831 well then how about all the famous musicians get together and have a concert with 100% of the proceeds go to at LEAST put up some fences in the areas with no fencing and steep drop offs. If they want the money from tourists coming into town for the restaurants and bars then clean up that riverfront… seriously dangerous.
My question is..what are fraternity brothers for? I thought being a member of a fraternity or sorority meant that your brothers and sisters had your back? Apparently I was wrong.
Reports say the bar made him leave out the back door but would not allow his friends to leave that way. His friends reported to have paid the tab, exited via the front of the bar and he was already gone. They called him and he stated he was going to walk to the hotel. That is what i saw on a different report. I bet his friends are gutted and feel terrible.
I was hoping for a different outcome, but the watch and phone going dead simultaneously is a really strong sign he's in the river. they both received the same water damage at the same time and shut off.
Agreed. The video they put out showing him fall makes me feel he fell again into the water. It almost looked like he could have also hit his head pretty hard because after he fell and then got up he was leaning over holding his head (at least that is what it looked like) poor kid. Parents and family have to be devastated.
Probably, but I dropped my 11 into the river while fishing. Took me half an hour to get it out. It was still on, still works today. But, yeah probably no signal down there.
Lordy. As a Middle Tennessean, I can tell you that I have vomited drunker than h**l in every alleyway in Nashville back in the 1980's and was never harmed by another person. But that was the 1980's. Today isn't nearly the same. (Honestly, I was lucky back in the day.) I know 2024 is entirely different. I am so sorry for his family.
Every city is dangerous. It only takes one wrong turn or one person looking for an easy target. There is safety in numbers. His friends should've never let him leave alone. Young people always think they're invincible.
Appreciate the update and your response to locate this young man. I hope you find him soon and safe. It bothers me that this has happened and I feel terrible about it. I pray for the family and friends as a safe outcome will happen.🎈
Have they brought cadaver dogs into homeless camp? He went by there because he was seen by some. He could have met with foul play. He was very impaired so easy target. 😢prayers for him and his family
I viewed another video today where a homeless helper volunteer saw a homeless person wearing a very clean shirt exactly like Riley was wearing who was in the company of two others from the camp. Little at the time when she saw this person wearing the shirt she did not know Riley was missing. Supposedly she has now reported this to the authorities other than reaching out to that you tuber to initially report the findings. ruclips.net/video/O9deKRkEguo/видео.html

It’s all about self responsibility. Just like the fentanyl overdoses do not take drugs and you don’t have to worry about it. No one else is to blame but themselves.
A college student went missing near where I live. He was a visitor and left the bar after drinking but his friends were not ready to quit. The guy used his GPS to find his way back to his accommodations but picked a similarly named place as a destination, rather than where he was staying. They searched and searched for him, including the water but there were no signs of him for days. Everyone was looking, especially in the direction that a camera showed him walking. He was eventually found at the bottom of a steep drop and unfortunately he did not survive the fall. He was at the wrong location that he followed from the GPS and took a shortcut over a fence protecting the steep drop. We were devastated for his family.

A young man that size 6’5” doesn’t just disappear into thin air. Maybe after he fell and hit his head he has amnesia and doesn’t remember who he is. Maybe he’s just in a different state trying to find his way home. I pray he is found. Tomorrow makes one week he is missing. These poor parents are very worried about their son. I pray he’s found safe. 🙏 I’m glad he wasn’t found in the water. They need to turn his hotel inside out and upside down. Search dogs should have been used immediately. There’s a lot of construction over there did he fall in a ditch and is unable to get out.

I know one thing, every church in Nashville should come out in force to pray to find this young man. There is no way someone disappears unless there is something sinister going on. Yes, he was staggering from something, maybe not just alcohol. Sobering up allows for mental clarity that gives one a realization help is needed. He is not able to reach out for some reason. After this amount of time, it is unlikely he is well, realistically. Common sense says that this will not end well and I pray he will be found. He is in my prayers and thoughts daily.

The current has been strong in the river and peaked the next morning at 10 am. They need to search the river down current for miles. Also the water is cold so that preserves the body and prevents it from surfacing from gases gived off during the decomposition process
How far down stream was searched ?? I was part of a search a few years ago of a young man drinking that went missing. He was discovered down river apprx 8 miles
Boycott this bar!!!!!!!! If something happened to him, they are directly responsible. It should be a law if a bar over serves (which cannot happen if the bar isn't doing it, duh), they should be responsible for getting the patron back to their destination be it home or hotel or lose their license. If bar and restaurant staff were held personally liable, we would see a hell of a lot less cases like this and drunk drivers. Prayers for Riley 💔

In Texas it is illegal to serve a drunk. Server can go to jail orvevrn prison if drunk.person hurts or kills someone in a wreck.
Thank you for the update! Prayers for family & friends. Prayers he is found🙏🙏🙏
I hope he is found safe. As a parent, it is devastating, to say the least.
Bring healing news to all of us. 🙏
So he never called anyone once he left the bar? Did he lose his phone? Younger people today don’t memorize phone numbers. If he dropped his phone, he’d be lost without any app to get him back to the hotel and he couldn’t make a call. And he’s in a strange environment.
He texted his friends and told him that he was headed back to the hotel.
@@goofygirl1311I bet that text didn’t actually come from him. 😔
I thought he said the last ping and last phone call to his frat friends was around 9:55pm.
With today’s technology there should be cameras all along the waterfront especially in cities where there are tons of bars and nightlife. This is so heartbreaking 💔
Keeping the family and Riley in my prayers 🙏💔🙏💔
It’s not the technology that’s the problem, it’s the cost. The cameras would cost the cities extra money which would have to be produced from raising taxes somewhere. Email the legislators and get the project passed. It’s going to come at a cost to everyone though.
@@thebewitchinghour831 ok then maybe some higher fences.. I’m sure they bring in enough money from tourists
Drunk friends are far from reliable; common sense.
@@purpleturtle7477true
Maybe his behavior was out of line. Drinking can do that, he did get kicked out of the bar. Why should the others let that ruin their night?
They had each others back in the 90s for sure. Just a different world today.
Apple watches are supposed to be waterproof... 🤷🏻♀️
@@savagebyotch8791they are water resistant, not waterproof, unless it was an ultra
Probably, but I dropped my 11 into the river while fishing. Took me half an hour to get it out. It was still on, still works today. But, yeah probably no signal down there.

Nashville is now another Dangerous city! Like Detroit, Albuquerque, Baltimore, St. Louis, Seattle, and Memphis..ect.😢
Hyperbole!
Born and raised in Nashville. We have our rough spots like any city, but our crime is not bad like the cities you mentioned.
I assure you Nashville is not the likings of Detroit. He, as a male, was perfectly safe unless a Greyhound bus unleashed a load of Macon Countians.
Good idea!
I pray he's still alive.
Maybe someone pick him up
Don’t lose hope 🛐🛐
Lord please I pray,
Bring this young man home safely.🙏💜
Where are his lovely fraternity brothers… nice guys!
This story is tugging so hard at my momma bear heart strings!!! My kids are about this age, and it breaks my heart that not one good soul stopped to help this young man. 💔 praying praying praying!
Could have been a set up with bar. traffickers pick young men up at bars. He's the right age.

Praying for Riley to be found and to be safe, praying for his family and friends with all my heart. As a Momma, I cannot imagine how panicked and desperate they must feel, my heart hurts for them and the families of everyone tonight searching, hoping and praying for their loved ones to be found.
God, please help.
Prayers for you all
I'm praying for Riley. 😢
The film is crucial, over served, kicked out and clearly incapacitated, if he fell injuring his head and dies from that….the family can totality sue for damages.🇺🇸
I tell people all the time that Broadway is wild these days. This is proof and it seems minor, but this outcome may prove major. Sad days for this family and we’re thinking about them.
I think he fell and had a concussion from this
I wonder if he had his drink spiked too.

This happened with several young men along the Mississipi in Minneapolis, and in Southern Wisconsin college towns.
Happened on La Crosse as well!
The reason the phone and watch went dead is they are probably in the river. Prayers for his family
Maybe someone who robbed Riley chucked the watch and phone in the river knowing what people would think, that he fell in. Ever consider that?
@@courtneyderouen the more likely scenario is what the poster above said. he likely stumbled into the river, no ones taking 6"7 men into the back of vans and driving to keep them hostage these days.
@@bbloodyangel1 you’re mistaken at what I think happened. Why are you jumping to vans lol? I think he was drugged and robbed and maybe laying somewhere alone or put in the river if he’s there. Either way, accident in the river or not, I think he was drugged. That’s my point.

What about what happened “before” he got kicked out of the bar? Do his friends have any info about anything. It bothers me that not one of his friends left with him and WHY did he get kicked out of the bar????
It’s been a week he’s still not found. Either he hit his head so hard and don’t know who he is or he’s in the water 😢

What??
The lady that saw the homeless man in this shirt as well as at least one other woman that was also with the people passing out food to the homeless on Sunday verified it was the same shirt. He rode a bicycle she said

His frat brothers should have been looking for him, as as they left the bar. He was staggering as he was walking down the sidewalk.

how long does it take to get a "phone report". I find that really strange that it would take any length of time.
I hope and pray to God that they find him safe and sound praying really hard for his safety
i had something horrible happen to me when i was a teenager, i do not blame my friend who i was with, i blame the monsters who hurt me also eventually i was able to realize you are your own liquor control board, but in youth you are not thinking this. Please let this young man be found . Bless the family , friends and 1st. responders working so hard.
Check freezers!!! This reminds me of when Keneka Jenkins a few years back walked around a hotel in Chicago and locked herself in a hotel freezer that wasnt being used.
I know it sounds crazy but at this point we need to think outside the box also....
First off, we don’t even know if he made it back to the hotel. I would definitely 💯 pull surveillance from the hotel also.
@Lisa-xm4bw They never said he made it back to the hotel, i don't think he made it back to the hotel after the bar at all. He hit his head, caused a concussion and got lost in a town he is not from.
I was saying the same thing the way he was stumbling over reminds of Kenneka stumbling in the hallway.
Good going...yall got this...
If someone gets separated from their friends after a night of drinking , please dont assume they'll find their way back to the hotel.
When do bartenders stop your friends from leaving with you? When do friends not leave with you? Was he drugged?
It ashame nobody called the law for his well being when he crossed that cross walk, those lady should have stop him and call the law, Smh, so many cold hearted people; walking devils. Prayers for all the observers, the bar bouncer, and his friends that one should have left with him. Smh! Some kind of friends. Prayers.
The current has been strong in the river and peaked the next morning at 10 am. They need to search the river down current for miles. Also the water is cold so that preserves the body and prevents it from surfacing from gases gived off during the decomposition process
Way too similar to what's been happening in Austin.
How far down stream was searched ??
I was part of a search a few years ago of a young man drinking that went missing.
He was discovered down river apprx 8 miles
My left ear is loving this
Boycott this bar!!!!!!!!
