- For five days, investigators have searched low along the banks of the Cumberland River and put his picture high up on billboards - but there's still no sign of college student Riley Strain.
what the woman said at the end; you can put fun on hold for a minute to make sure someone gets where they need to go.
But his friends did try the guard didn't let th thru in the back with Riley
@@jonrichcorpuz2380 That makes absolutely no sense. Someone is lying.
@@jonrichcorpuz2380yeah, right
Stop blaming other ppl .... In bigger cities it is not uncommon to see ppl on drugs staggering around this way. I tried to intervene once with a kid around this age and ended up with a fat lip and a gash in my head that needed stitches. How come every one is blaming others for not being responsible for him? What about him being responsible for his own self? I just don't get blaming everyone else when he made the choice to go out into that chaotic scene and let down his guard. Do I think he deserves what is happening? No .... But there are risks we take when choosing certain activities.
I'm still trying to figure out where and who he was running from before he fell.
With a densely populated tourist city, Nashville, that has cameras and human eyes everywhere, it is very alarming to me that somebody that tall can come up missing without any clues or evidence as to what may have happened. We do know he was stumbling due to intoxication, but not much else. We should all keep this in mind when downtown, taking proper steps and protocols to prevent this from happening to us or our loved ones. Regardless of his current state, may he be found.
Exactly
I never visit Downtown Nashville or Broadway. Yesterday on Broadway a Man walked up to a Elderly Lady & knocked her to the ground, & Nashville released him back on the streets. The DA in Nashville will not Jail the Homeless.
@@julialane6645it’s happening everywhere. Homeless are violent or mentally ill with cities doing nothing to protect the public.
@@julialane6645 our judicial programs in Davidson county is rightfully progressive, for we believe in judicial reform. I’m sorry you feel that way, but this is the way forward.
@@LCx829 Just because someone is homeless doesn't mean they are on drugs or violent.
Anybody that is this impaired should never just be thrown out of a bar. They should call EMS or call an Uber.
There is usually no shortage of taxis or Uber rides in Nashville. He wasn’t a child.
Man seeing the video of him stumbling and tripping headed in the direction of that river is alarming. The fact that it’s been days makes it worse .
The last video they showed, the black car that stopped at the intersection, the guy on the bike that rode right to him...then it cuts off. The cops need to be tracking that car and that guy on the bike via the cameras, they absolutely saw him. He was intoxicated enough he could've veered left in front of the car and got hit, they panicked and rolled him down the embankment and took off. Or the guy on the bike rolled up and robbed him or something. Or maybe they offered to help and had some exchange that might be a lead.
As a mother, seeing him like that is heartbreaking. I've been worried about him and Sebastian all week since learning about them.
@@mstayloronline with today’s technology it’s definitely possible to track that car and bike. What worries me is how easily he could’ve fallen off that embankment into the river. It’s nothing blocking that fall (for some reason) and he is feet away from a few spots over there that he could potentially walk off. Honestly surprised he was able to make it all the way up to church st in that condition without anyone helping. That Sebastian story is just as weird, kid just vanishes ? Smh
@@imnotexactlysure1360 I know they said they checked the River, but I wonder about the current, etc.? I could be wrong, but I still think that, unfortunately, that's where he is.

That really shocked me!!! What the heck is wrong with people?
Because we are not his keeper! I ended up with a fat lip and a gash in my head that needed stitches for trying to help a guy like this in my city. Never again! If he saw someone stumbling around like this in the big city I can guarantee he would not have intervened. Stop blaming everyone else for his predicament. Do I think he or his family deserves this? No. But he took the risk. There are risks taken when choosing to do certain things. Just stop blaming everyone else.
I would imagine the streets of Nashville have many drunks stumbling around. I’m not surprised people left him alone
Because half the people drunk themselves
@@Katrielible Nobody’s blaming anyone else for his predicament. They’re saying people suck and should be better, a$$wipe, for not helping! What if it was your brother, son, or husband??? Good for you trying to help someone. I’ll help anyone, especially a young kid needing help, as opposed to not helping and seeing his picture on a billboard. Ridiculous.
This doesnt bode well to Nashville. Bars overserving young people for a couple dollars and then no cameras in the middle of downtown? Clearly not a safe or friendly city.
It’s not. Born and raised here. Tourists think it’s sweet. They think it’s all good times and country music. This is why many oblivious tourists and transplants become targets and victims of violent crimes in Nashville.
Nashville is not a Safe City. Especially on Broadway & Riverfront on the Cumberland River with homeless camps. Crimes have skyrocketed in Nashville & the Mayor in Nashville has not spoken a word of concern for Riley missing. Nashville defunded the Police & minus 180 Police Officers. No one should be thrown out from a bar specially intoxicated. If they do, they need to make sure he wasn’t alone. Those people are the scams of the bar because they don’t care about anyone after they served them too much alcohol.

Pay attention to your circle
If everybody comes together they should leave together
Yeah… but morals and logic goes out the window when everyone is intoxicated
Rabbit watch fraternity members are known for encouraging risky, reckless behavior and excessive drinking. My bet is Riley could not keep up with their drinking, he got made to leave the bar because he was wasted, and his fraternity brotherhood was not ready to call it a night. So they let him go alone. Doesn't speak well regarding the loyalty of his fraternity brothers. And wait 16 hours to contact law enforcement. The brothers know more than they are letting on. And they got the hell out of Nashville shortly after they reported him missing. I would say with an active investigation going on they should not have been allowed to leave town, just like they claim they were not allowed to leave the bar to accompany him.
FINALLY we're hearing more "look out for your friends" instead of just sparingly or for women and girls only. There was a great last point at the end, putting the fun on hold to make sure the person is safe. Yes, if you care, definitely!
Its pretty natural to look out for people when you care about them. (or if you're a caring person in general) Unfortunately, these days, it seems like people are finding it harder and harder to determine who their friends are, while still trusting everyone enough to get drunk in public with, go on trips with, etc.
I have my suspicions as to why so many people mistake who their real friends are, but either way, its pretty sad to see so many letdowns or betrayals in friend groups.
WHAT HAPPENED TO GOOD FRIENDSHIPS??? 👀
Kindness really. Even strangers can be kind.
If some person with evil intentions saw him in the intoxicated state he was in, there is no telling what might have possibly happened to him unfortunately. I hate to even think what might have happened to him. It’s so sad 😭😭
Omg!!! Why would they let him or anyone that intoxicated leave alone ??? I wouldn’t want to be their conscience! Prayers for him and his family.

Might be serial. 2 college men [around the same age] in Texas have also gone missing. 21 year old Caleb Harris went missing on 3/4 just a few days before Riley. Another 21 year old college student Jason Landry back in 2020 went missing as well. These cases are very strange.
These cases aren't related and it's not a serial killer. Serial killers have a plan. Nobody knew he'd be kicked out of a bar and wander off and serial killers aren't hanging out downtown waiting for some drunk college kid to stumble by. And the other cases are not related either.
@@mstayloronline serial killers orr kidnappers can act on opportunity. Look at the other 2 cases? Have you never watch any documentary on any living or dead serial killer? I’m not saying it is one, but it is definitely strange.

I was thinking about that too. They don’t have to plan. Just wait. Ladybird lake right? I mean if he’s not in the water, where could he have gone?
@@SN-to9xl Right. Caleb Harris literally went missing while waiting outside on an Uber Eats order at his home. Jason Landry disappeared after a car accident on his way home from college. He left his phone, car, wallet, & clothes behind.. I think maybe Riley’s phone got thrown in the water or something. Idk, it’s strange. Coincidences need to be looked into. These guys didn’t just vanish into thin air.
Getting stupid drunk has ended bad for so many people who have ended up in a bad situation. This is so sad and will happen over and over again.
My heart is breaking for his family…Dear God I pray he is found safe 🙏🏽 I can’t believe the bar kicked him out alone when he was clearly very intoxicated. And I’m reading that they didn’t allow the friends to accompany him. The bar needs to be sued. Also, why did his friends take so long to call 911. We all have to watch out for each other seriously!
I just wanna know if Luke Bryan is going to be sued for 100 million or 200 million if this kid ends up dead. Because his bar overserved him and then kick him out when he was drunk and they didn’t let his friends go with him because they were more worried about the bill then his safety, so Luke Bryan just give hundred million right now don’t even wait for the lawsuit because it’s coming.
The lawyers are already calling his family I bet.
Some people mention that Luke Bryan doesn't own that bar but that the bar only had the license rights to used his name so to attract customers. Bryan won't be charge with anything nor would he get sue for anything as it's not his responsibility to control the bar to do what they did.
Agreed but it also depends on cause of death if he is dead.
@VOAN it's his bar fool.

But we don't live in a perfect world. First and foremost we need to teach our children to be more self aware and aware of their surroundings. Everyone wants to put this on the shoulders of his friends or ppl he passed by saying they should have been responsible for him, but what about him being responsible for himself? Would he be responsible if it was one of his friends stumbling out like that? No! He could not even be responsible for himself. Make sense? Why are ppl blaming others for this. We don't have to blame him, but if blame is going to placed on everyone else, why not on him too?
@@Katrielible 💜 I absolutely agree that Riley has to be held accountable for going beyond his drinking limit and putting himself in the situation he ended up in. But the people he went out with that night as well as the staff who put him out on the street in his condition also share responsibility. Why was there not someone in the group designated to stay sober to make sure everyone made it back to their hotel together? Why did not one of them make an effort to go after him and make sure he made it back safely. Knowing the state he was in? Why did none of them go to check on him until the next morning after they had all woken up? Why did they not contact the police the second they realized he was not in his room? Why did it take them until that afternoon, a whole 16 hours after he got kicked out of the bar, before they finally called and reported him missing? Questions that would not have to be asked if just one of his “fraternity brothers” had left with him. As for the bartenders and staff, being able to assess whether a person has had too much to drink comes with the job. If he was that far gone and you want him off the premises, allow someone from his party to leave with him to make sure he stays safe. Or hell, call the cops and have him picked up and put in a cell to sleep it off. At least he would be somewhere safe and accounted for. Basic humanity. But to kick him out on the street alone in his condition, when you had a hand in getting him to that state is disgraceful and inexcusable. Period.
@@tomishainsell5627 I understand that it was almost 2 pm when they called 911, but they had already contacted his parents that morning while looking for him, at least from what I have read. When it was decided to report it, they actually tried to do so in person but were unable to which is when they called 911. I personally believe that up until that point, everyone believed they would find him passed out somewhere or that he would wake up and call them. As it got later with no word from him and no success in their search, the reality began to sink in. I read that the parents were contacted by the friends around 10:30 the following morning while they were out looking for him.
Get the dogs out
Community and Nashville in the same sentence is ironic at best.
What a horrible city. They need to add more cameras and tax the bars for them.
And once again, as with virtually every case where CCTV footage of the disappearance is concerned, the public is always shown this horrible-quality, cell-phone-videoing-a-computer-monitor, stylized, edited footage, rather than original-quality video direct from the source. News outlets really need to do better if they really want the public's help to solve these cases. If we had better-quality video to look at, maybe we would be able to see details in the footage that other people have missed!
His drink must have been tampered with.

Someone brought this up and I'm saying it on other videos. He was running it looks like from the people scrambling in the background, one with a dark hoodie who ducks behind a car. Then he switched directions after seeing the five people near 1st st, turned around, looked up and hurried the other way.

Hopefully his parenta find him soon, and in good health😢🙏
Its looking more and more to me like he was approached or followed in some surprise way, especially if theyre saying theres a big homeless community there. At night they are mostly gathered in their sleeping area, so he wasnt walking in an empty area. They also say his phone last pinged in a different location than where he was last seen walking, which means his phone was taken from him and he was attacked or approached in some surprise way. We see he had his phone with him while he was walking. They can also check any cameras from the position of the boats or apartment buildings. They need to search last area his phone was pinged. He could also be kidnapped and taken somewhere. This is separate from the big mistakes his frat group made.
I think he must've sustained a severe head injury when he tripped & fell head first into that light pole!!
If they know the directions he walked till he was last seen, just continue getting as much footage from every angle on the block he was on. They catch murder suspects like that.
Why did his frat brothers let him leave alone? At least call him an Uber or Lyft ride.
Is that how it works in Nashville bars? Drunk use the back door sober use the front?
They dont want to be seen releasing overly intoxicated patrons onto the streets?
That’s exactly why they did this, bars should not be allowed to get away with bs like this

This is the question??
The police where I was living in Fort Worth didn’t show up at all the first time someone unloaded a clip in my neighborhood like next door it was so close. Dispatch was typing until I gave them my address then her mood changed a little and she said the general area that I lived in and I confirmed but she wasn’t typing hardly anything anymore and she asked “did you see the person firing the weapon” -no ma’am (I had already explained the details of everything) “did you see if someone was shot” -no ma’am “did you hear screaming” no ma’am “did you hear a vehicles tires take off after” no ma’am “ you didn’t see a victim “ no ma’am “.. okay police are on their way out to you for a statement and patrol the area” I got dressed and waited for them in my living room so I could hear them knock since someone had snatched my door bell lmao. They never came -oh and gunshots like this were happening 2-3-4 times a week and the only time I called law enforcement was the first time when I had just moved in. After that it was all just ‘mind your own’ kind of thing. My neighbor on my left was gang affiliated and turns out the neighbors directly across from me were rival gang members and Halloween I came home and the police were actually in my neighborhood so someone was dead probably if they showed up is what I thought but thankfully nobody was fatally wounded but police told me and my boyfriend that it was “a 50 person shoot out” and it was over the teenagers parking behind my neighbor to the left’s driveway effectively trapping them from leaving because of the party across from us and I was hiring the neighbors to my left’s son to mow our lawn so they were cool with us haha they took me inside and showed me all the bullet holes through their living room walls from that night when I was moving out finally

No one is responsible for your poor decisions, If you’re an adult.
But the bar that hired the bartender who knows better than to continue serving alcohol to a drunk patron and then that patron goes out and dies or kills somebody else is legally liable and can be fined, sued, lose that liquor license, and so can the bartender, and jail.
Bartenders feeding adults alcohol and those adults go out, drive drunk and hurt themselves or others, or are so wasted they're pinballing up the street and end up tumbling into a river and drowning, and it can be easily demonstrably proven using the bar's own surveillance footage showing how many drinks said bartender(s) served said drunk person before the bar tossed them out, they're in just as much trouble.
