More people need to look out for each other when traveling in a group. I can’t believe nobody in his group didn’t leave with Riley when he was asked to leave that establishment. I’ve seen some footage of Riley staggering around. You just don’t allow someone under the influence like he was to just leave by himself. SMH 🤦♀️
@@Lisa-xm4bwExactly. EXACTLY. I was Greek in college, I was a bartender - that was in the mid 2000s, but still... If anything, people are supposed to be even more aware and alert now. To not check on him for 16 hours?? What?? Nothing in this story makes any sense. But, even after that - for SO many people to see him so INCREDIBLY intoxicated and probably hurt and just keep driving or walking by?? I can’t count how many times I helped someone out or needed it myself. My heart breaks when I hear his Mom. She is living every mother’s worst nightmare. I just hope they find him soon. 🙏🙏

Young people, please dont think anyone will actually watch out for you. Most of the time, they won't . Watch your drink like a hawk. Even guys get roofied. And keep your drinking at a minimum in public. Its not worth your life. This sounds so much like what has been happening to young men in Austin. We have a young man missing in Texas right now too. Sitting outside waiting for uber eats. It is as dangerous for men as it is for women these days. I know you're tough and all that. But surrounded by a foreign gang with guns alone or a crazy person ,you arent so tough. Please be extra careful out there. Keep an eye on everything around you.
All the people driving pass him, and he's stumbling and falling no one tried to help him even calling 911 and say there's a intoxicated guy falling and stumbling, he was completely helpless
Agreed, at one point there were some people walking on the side of him. Nobody reached out to him, he was clearly lost and vulnerable, I just can't with this city sometimes
@@bingbong9076 I never said I would let someone drunk get into my car, but I can say this I would have helped or even called police seeing someone so helpless
I can’t imagine seeing a young person out and about who is clearly not well and not trying to at least contact the police to get him some help. We are broken.
Downtown Nashville happens all the time if you try to help drunk ppl they can get aggressive if u fight back that’s a charge if police see u so it’s easier to just sorta ignore the behavior to not compromise ur own safety. We see so many country dudes plastered and not all drunks are friendly.
unfortunately in america this kind of behavior of people looking like zombies and stumbling all over the streets is so normal these days especially in big cities where drugs is taking over, people just mind their business. police doesnt even do anything about it.
It was incredibly hard to watch the kid stumble about on the streets. What kind of world do we live in where we could watch a person, clearly vulnerable stumble out in the streets at night. I cannot imagine what his family must be going through💔. I once stumbled upon a young guy when I was dogwalking. He was on the sidewalk in a normal upper middle class neighborhood. I gently woke him up and found out he'd most likely been there since early that morning, and I found him in the afternoon! I couldn't believe how many people would have stepped over him or avoided him that entire day! I called EMT and waited till they arrived.
@@sonneversets3530I am so sad this young man drank too much, and did not have the wherewithal to have someone look out for him. IN the '90s and '00s, I ALWAYS said something: "Hey! They MIGHT be an asshole, but ARE THEY OK?!" This video shows that that Riley may have had too much to drink, but almost smacks of other drugs. Targeting people coming out of bars is a common practice.
@@FalconTypo3 I realize ppl are immune to caring about anything else but themselves these sad days. Especially the younger you go down the line. Just the pathetic way of the world today. I personally have a problem w/injustice, so I’m not one to sit back & watch the show. I’m retired from NYC Crime, so there was/is always plenty going on there, 24/7. Reno is another 24/7 town, as is Vegas. So, that’s what I’m used to for so long. You can leave it, but it never leaves you. A great injustice was done here, to this poor guy, & fails fall on several. I believe the bar should be held accountable for over serving. I also believe he was slipped something, by watching the vids shown. More are popping up, thankfully. We won’t be seeing any from inside the bar, until the investigation is over in that area. That’s why no one is talking, either. As for his ‘friends’...🤔 If they’re careless enough to not insist he’s not booted out to be alone, I wonder just how good of friends they are. Then, they didn’t even call him in as missing, until they get up the next day & finally realize he’s not around? Did they all have solo rooms? For a conference, you usually get doubled up, b/c it’s being paid for. So, who was his roomie? He didn’t notice he wasn’t there when he got in the room? Or, thought nothing of it, when last time he saw him, he was wasted? He talked to one of them after 10 to let them know he was headed back to the hotel. So, no one thought it was strange he wasn’t there? *Outside thought:* Could even one of his ‘friends’ been playing a trick on him & be responsible for slipping him the drug? Most likely a roofie, that is so prevalent there. Not to be malicious, as much as to get a good laugh outta the too tall, lanky buddy. Stranger things have happened, between ‘friends.’ There was a group of them. They were most likely at a table. Maybe not, but stands to reason. So if at a table, what stranger has the op to slip anything in his drink? Probably a beer. And they probably had pitchers going. So...? If at the bar, easier for a stranger to slip something in. We just don’t know enough. All that makes sense, is what doesn’t make sense. Tossing out a visibly impaired young kid, from a different entrance that leads to another street, away from where he came in from, w/o allowing a buddy who wanted to be w/him to go too, is grounds for a suit right there. No calling for a ride, or asking any in his group if they want to spring for one for him to get back safely? Any club worth it’s liquor, is going to do that, to assure a drunk patron’s safety. The others could have taken care of the ones Tab who wanted to go w/him, & settle up later. They had to have seen & known he was so beyond incapacitated, he’s just staggering around! Yet, no one insists on being w/him outside, before the rest settle up & leave, shortly after. Or maybe it wasn’t so shortly after. Being he last spoke around 10:30 pm to one of them. Roughly 45 min after he walked away from the bar b/c he was told to, by the one who tossed him. Another unfortunate factor, that needs to be included in the suit. I’m so glad I grew up when I did. We had our share of problems, for sure. But the world wasn’t half as nuts & we knew what being a real friend was. I still have some if those friends nearly 50 yrs later. 👍 Kids today, don’t even know what a real friendship entails. Let alone any loyalty that automatically goes w/it. Sorry I went on here. Long day again. ;)

When u get put out by bouncers ur friends don’t get to follow u the bar doors are on opposite streets almost half a block away so like one door lets out on the south side one door lets out on the north side that’s what ppl are not piecing together. If u don’t leave u get a charge for public intoxication so many ppl take the high road and choose to attempt to just leave. They let u out on seperate doors bc the crowd is so big they don’t walk u down thru the crowd they take u out the side also I think in hopes that way u can’t find ur way back as easy.
Had somebody crash on the steps to my apartment once who clearly didn't know where he was in Melbourne/Australia He was so drunk or had his drink spiked that I was afraid for his safety and called 000. EMT arrived and agreed with my observation. They took him straight to the hospital You see something...Do something
Wondering did he have a lot of cash on him or jewelry? Noticed his last ping under the bridge at the homeless camp is right next door to the County Correctional also behind the Court House. You can see Sheriff vehicles up and down that street past the homeless camp. The very next building with two roll up doors has cameras on each side as well as a the correctional facility. He was right behind the Justice square and police. Why haven’t they spoke about the cameras in that area?
@@takeofftv3204 Where did you hear that? On the news? I wonder why they would not let one of his friends leave with him out the same door, knowing that he should not be alone. That would have been the responsible thing for the bar to do.

This is a sad situation and I don't even have a child at MIZZOU and my heart hurts as a Mother. Same. I find that weird. I can see not letting a person in to their establishment, but not letting them out? The only thing I could see is if that person hadn’t paid their bill and so they wouldn’t let them leave? But there were multiple fraternity brothers there. Not one could leave with him?
@@evagosselin4712 Yes. Makes zero sense. But several ppl are saying it. Maybe just reading it here & repeating it, like followers will do w/o facts. It’s also being said he was put out the BACK door, which is on a different street. Not the way they entered. And told he couldn’t stay there. So, of course his friends didn’t see him when they left. I personally would have gone back in to ask if the bouncer saw which way he staggered. This all just boggles the mind.
Well listen to this the doors let out on opposite sides of a street one is north side one is south side so it’s not an easy wrap around like u think it’s about a half block of a walk on top of that Riley is tall not being funny being serious my grandfather is 6’4” my ex is 6’5” I’m 5’7” let me tell u their one step is like 5 steps compared to mine plus these kids had to pay that tab bet it was a line Nashville bars are crowded Riley had a good 15 mins already considering all of this before anyone could of even got to him! There’s no way I’ve lived in Nashville my whole life. The way he was running also and being tall yeah he was gone on them kids they couldn’t have caught up if they wanted to. I’ve dated tall people been around them my whole life I wish more ppl could think about this i am not playing they can literally be ahead of u in no time. Therefore there wasn’t a fighting chance and where he was headed it was all bad areas any way he would of went from the projects on south 5th to the hood Jefferson st to the homeless camp it’s all bad I think he tried to stay with a crowd but where he was there was no crowd he was walking as a human target where he was headed it makes me sick. I used to be right on the street he was all the time I also can tell u a jail releases ppl about 50 feet from where he was headed and when I am right there my phone does not get service. I think it’s bc of the jail they cut it off on the street in case the inmates have a phone they can’t call out. But if u go on up to the next street ur phone will work.
I can't imagine what his family is going through. Where could he be?? Why did none of his friends leave wirh him or even a stranger on the street help him when he was clearly so intoxicated? This bar should be liable for not assuring his safety when they kicked him out, given the state he was in! My heart breaks for the Strain family. Come home Riley ❤
It was last Fri so not likely, he would have been found by now. He went the opposite direction but the worrisome thing is he went towards the river which is not good for many reasons....primarily there were no more opportunities for security footage in that area. Terribly sad, it's not looking good at all. Too many bad guys are going down to Broadway to prey on drunk people, esp on weekends. It's a big problem now.

Im wondering if it was claimed that he did not have non confronting behavior when asked to leave plus he was over served...why did he have to leave? and why would a establishment not find him a taxi to get back? In the condition he was in? ? Plus very disappointed with his friends.
To the family. Please please go watch the Pascal show. There was a caller that called in that helps out in the homeless community she may have some information and she did forward it on to the police just today
No he was with his 150 Frat Brothers, who couldn't have cared less. Instead of looking for him, they went and attended their formal dinner. Can anyone believe this!!! 150 shoes or boots on the ground would make a difference in the effort to find him.
What irritates me is that so many people walked past this boy, and did not ask if he was OK ? We are living in a society that everyone is worried about themselves, and very self-centered and selfish. There should be a law that requires them to make sure a person has a DD or uber or cab before they leave after they've gotten them drunk and thrown them out! And the friends should have left with him! They should have never left him alone in his condition! So many ways this could have been avoided! Praying for his safe return and for his family.
The friends tried but they wouldn't let them leave out the back and it's on another street so he definitely got turned around which is so sad bc his hotel was so close, I was there a few weeks ago at that Very bar for an NHL game, and I wish we could have been there to raise heck for their absolute failure
There absolutely should be a law, and they should name it after him, even if he's eventually found safe. Riley's Law. The bar should cover the cost of the ride, it's not like they can't afford it. What happened here disgusts me for so many reasons.
This may not have been the bar’s fault. There are so many people being roofied downtown now. It’s been said his friend wasn’t allowed to leave the bar, this could have been because their bar tab wasn’t paid. It all sounds suspicious to me, but the roofie issue is bad downtown.
Besides on one of his videos he is walking like bended. Perhaps someone put drug in his drinks and he just lost his mind. Oh my God please have mercy on him , thsi is so devastating . God please keep him safe if he still out there
Therefore he had to take a separate door which also lead out on opposite streets the front leads on the north side the back or side leads out on the south side. U either leave or get Public intoxication charge Nashville bars are notorious for this. So he was with his fraternity BROTHERS? They KNEW he was kicked out of a bar for over drinking. And they let him wonder out onto the streets of a strange city in that condition? With "brothers" like that, who needs enemies??? I would NEVER do that to a friend! Even if it was someone in our group I didn't know, I would have never did that!
LOL. Ever met frat bros? They kill their own members by encouraging binge drinking. If they "cared", they would have helped him, or they were just as wasted. Notice how they are all about "no comment", right now?
How many times does this have to happen before something changes? Someone - his frat brother companions or the bar should have called an Uber back to the hotel for him or ideally someone should have gone with him to make sure he got back to his room safely. I wonder how intoxicated the people he was with were, maybe nobody was capable of making good decisions at that time. This is why it is so important to have someone who stays (relatively) sober in your group to make sure this tragedy doesn't continue to happen. I think the people walking by not helping this kid is more of an indictment on how common a sight this is than on the particular individuals. It looks like there's a lot of overserving going on. Probably not just that one bar either. Personally, I think bars, since they're making a profit on overserving, should be held accountable for when they overserve someone to this degree. I get there's responsibility on the individual, but also these are young people who maybe don't know their limits as well. Either way, I hope he's found safe.
Many ARE responsible, Nationwide. So...we’ll see. I had to be certified to even serve it in Reno. It was all about recognizing when to cut ppl off & how. And not to even serve them to begin with, if there was a question. If ppl changed jobs to another casino, they had to show their certification before getting hired. Every other yr, it got renewed. Gamblers drink free, so they’re very on top of it. Not worth a massive suit & scandal. Luke should be sued big time, for how this poor guy was treated. He’s fully cooperating, as he should. And helping all he can. He knows the feeling, himself.

Why did they take so long to call the police. Poor kid I pray he’s found safe. 🙏 Bars should have some kind of accountability. They love making money off young people. Before anyone is kicked out of a bar they should at least take the time to ask if anyone knows the person they are planning on kicking out in that condition. If the bar is going to kick someone out in that wasted condition they should be responsible for calling them an Uber/lift and making sure they get in it safely. If bars are going to serve hard liquor they should be held accountable when they kick someone out who is drunk and helpless. Especially, when the bar is so close to a body of water. It makes me so angry to see what happened to this young man. 🙏

They are not the drinking police, nor a daycare. That's like guessing if someone has high cholesterol, and refusing them fries with a burger. People need to know their limits or stay at home to avoid these situations.
Most likely so drunk he blacked out. Unfortunately, it happens way too often. Hopefully he didn't have alcohol poisoning and just woke up somewhere and is trying to figure out how to get home.
I’m sure they will. Luke is fully cooperating, as he should. He knows the heartache of personal family loss. He should have never left the bar alone. If he was that drunk, a taxi or Uber should have been called. Where were his friends and why did they leave him alone?
I am wondering what was he served at the bar that he was overserved before 10pm on Friday night. These must have been some very strong drinks or like some have mentioned there was something else in his drink. I do not understand how none of his friends were able to leave with him. There are a lot of questions still what we do mot have answers to. I hope they will find him soon.
I hope the police are checking every dumpster in the area. I used to live in a large city in the midtown, right off the "strip" with loads of bars, pedestrians, intoxicated, etc. The dumpster behind my block of apts was frequented by not only the dumpster divers but those who needed to pee, or hop in and take a nap, or change clothes. He clearly had too much to drink and could have passed out or died in one. And it's true, a tall, thin body doesn't absorb alcohol the same as a larger person.
Another example of young people leaving a friend ALONE in a bar situation!!! This usually happens to girls & they wind up missing and worse. He’s told to leave the bar, he does. He’s waiting outside by the doors for his friends to settle up & leave behind him. The bouncer tells him to leave further! That he can’t stand there. Who knows if he said he was waiting for his friends? IDK But it seems if he wasn’t told he also had to leave the area he was standing/waiting, he’d be here now. Since when are ppl not allowed to just stand outside a bar? They do it all the time!!! He’s by himself! Not making a ruckus w/others! He’s just waiting for his friends to join him from the bar! If one of his Frat buddies went outside w/him, to make sure he was OK, this wouldn’t have happened. And I’m sure they would have been allowed to wait for the others. *_NEVER LEAVE YOUR FRIENDS ALONE, ESPECIALLY WHEN DRUNK, ANYTIME, ANYWHERE!!!!_* *NEVER LEAVE A FEMALE FRIEND ALONE W/SOMEONE SHE JUST MET AT ANY BAR!!!! NEVER **_EVER_** LET HER LEAVE W/HIM!!!* And DON’T _YOU_ LEAVE HER ALONE, SO _YOU_ CAN LEAVE w/some guy _YOU just met!!!_ *If you 2 came together, you LEAVE TOGETHER!!!* I don’t care if you have to have a tug of war w/the guy who wants to take her elsewhere. Grab her & make sure she comes with YOU!!! Let her be mad tomorrow. Who cares?! She’s alive!!!! This should be an agreement between friends & the group, PRIOR to heading out. *No one is left behind!!!* It’s so much worse if a group has gone out together & 1 of them is left alone!!! Just sooo dangerous today!!! Especially when drunk, or on drugs!!! They’re not in their right mind! Judgement is off, perception is off, they can’t even see straight! Someone gets kicked out... *SOMEONE **_GO W/THEM!!!_* *You’re NO FRIEND, IF YOU LEAVE YOUR ‘FRIEND’ TO FEND FOR THEMSELVES!!!* This is _sickening!_ I pray he is found very soon & his family is comforted & carried by Jesus.🙏
Natalee Holloway went nicely with a guy she just met, and in a car to boot!!! Friends didn't see her until it was too late as she was waving sweetly at them as they drove away.
@@camlacasse3760 Never read she waved at anyone. They stated they saw her getting in the car & were shocked, b/c it was so unlike her. They wanted to stop her, but she made no acknowledgement toward them & the car quickly drove away w/the 3 guys & her. They met Vander the night before, gambling. He said he’d be where they were, the last she was seen, the next night. So they went there, too, the next night. She’d been dancing w/him most of the time there. So they easily lost track of her. They were all dancing & having fun. Her best friend left early, but others were still there & Nat stayed dancing w/Vander... If her bestie stayed, she would have kept a better eye on her. :/ The others just lost track... She could have easily been slipped a drug in her drink & probably was. Being everyone’s stated it was a total opposite thing for her to ever do. Especially since they were leaving for home the next AM. She was escorted to the car & ‘helped in.’ Never looking back, smiling, or waving. For all we know, Vander could have told her she was left behind & they’d take her back to her hotel. So she didn’t bother to look for any of her friends. Especially if she was now under the influence of something incapacitating. She was probably disoriented. Vander planned this from the night prior. His history of preying on unsuspecting girls puts a stamp on it. It’s a real shame this happens as often as it does. A group of kids mixing alcohol & unfamiliar territory, is cause for great caution. When there’s no designated driver, or ‘watch dog’, anything can happen. And too many times, does.
I still don’t understand why the bar wouldn’t let his friends “leave” with him. Makes no sense to me 🧐 Where’s the responsibility of the bar “over serving” him, then kick him out 🤬
Oh, please, the Bar doesn't have the right to have people leave or not leave with a drunk friend. That is the Frat's story, they were having a good time. Wondering, was he gay? He had his own room, why?
I’m angry for him too. There were SO many people who could have prevented this. It is honestly upsetting to see…
More people need to look out for each other when traveling in a group. I can’t believe nobody in his group didn’t leave with Riley when he was asked to leave that establishment. And keep your drinking at a minimum in public. Its not worth your life. This sounds so much like what has been happening to young men in Austin. We have a young man missing in Texas right now too. Downtown Nashville happens all the time if you try to help drunk ppl they can get aggressive if u fight back that’s a charge if police see u so it’s easier to just sorta ignore the behavior to not compromise ur own safety. We see so many country dudes plastered and not all drunks are friendly.
If Riley was a woman I’d call but a 6’8 drunk dude probably wouldn’t.
unfortunately in america this kind of behavior of people looking like zombies and stumbling all over the streets is so normal these days especially in big cities where drugs is taking over, people just mind their business. police doesnt even do anything about it.

Stranger things have happened, between ‘friends.’
There was a group of them.
Kids today, don’t even know what a real friendship entails. Let alone any loyalty that automatically goes w/it.

Things are very different w/youth today.
Those were neither Frat Bro’s OR friends. 😔
Very sad.
Especially in a strange city where nobody knows their way around. Prayers for him and his family.
Where were his friends?
On the news today, in Atlanta, a young man said he was with friends drinking at various bars and was drugged. Someone slipped something into his drink, and then drove him around while taking all of his cash, credit cards, and gold ring and Rolex. He has since left Buckhead, an Atlanta upscale neighborhood, because he doesn't feel safe.
What’s a 22 YO college kid doing w/a Rolex?😂
Your post is a bit ?
It was this kids friends that rolled him? And so he left home to be safe.?
What news report, so ppl can look it up?
02:34 - Could he have hit his head as he fell? Very sad incident that was largely preventable☹️
Thought the same when I saw it on TV.
He was running, slipped & slammed into whatever was in the medium.
The vid I saw showed him just sitting a moment, as if he’s gathering himself, before getting back up.
Cars just passing.🤮 I would have called 911!
Then the next you see him going bent over & holding his head some, as he staggered along that wall of the bldg.
I think he got a concussion right there.
Hope they sue Luke. He was over served, tossed w/o anyone getting him Uber or similar, & put out a different door than he entered. Disorienting him even more...on a different street.
That bar is responsible for over serving patrons. Any bar is.
🙏🙏🙏
This is just heartbreaking. Prayers he is found
Was he drugged
Oh.. maybe. But he looks wasted in those clips…
I thought he looked drugged as well . 😢
He was kicked out of the bar around 10pm....that seems awful early to be that drunk.
I thought I was the only one who thought that
@@mothernature8893I respectfully agree with you💔I’m so horrified by this unbelievable situation about this young man💙It’s sickening and heartbreaking 💔 devastating how this happened to someone so young and just having fun with the people who he trusted💔
I’m a mother of 4 adults and my heart goes out to this family and loved ones💔🙏😞
The video is disturbing🥲it’s hard to believe how this young man is walking around, looking distressed and totally lost, confused and disoriented😞
We’re losing hope in humanity😔someone shut had called the police and tried to help him.
I pray 🙏 that police can found him🙏💙so scary where he could be.
Time is running out and we need to found him.
May God keep you safe and sound.
I can’t understand how this happened💔😞🙏
Something doesn’t make sense to me😔
Where were his friends? God please bring him home safely...praying for you!!!!🙏🙏🙏
Focus on the river.

There’s boats out...
Praying for this kid, people think Nash-Vegas is all fun but living here we've seen so bad stuff. Literally on the same newscast tonight they profiled a man they're searching for connected to robbing overserved patrons stumbling around Broadway. People here can NOT get split up EVER, and the bar needs to answer as to why they just throw an OVERSERVED man out on the street
I hope they find him safe
Happens everyday. No one cares to help anyone on the street. The only difference is that this kid has people that loved him and miss him. I live in tennessee and know that area, he was staggering straight towards the river, and a homeless camp area that often has dangerous characters in it. Either spot was the wrong spot for a good kid to be drunk and alone. My condolences to the family.
They spoke to 2 homeless camps.
He was sighted, but they said he kept moving on. 🤔
Sending hope, love and prayers from Georgia.
Praying he is ok
This is bothering me so I can imagine what the family is going through.

More cameras on the Nashville streets!!
No, because that would mean Big Brother/Government. That's not what a red state like TN wants.

Man i feel for you brother!! Im so sorry about your cousin.. I wish with the snap of a finger that i could show up at the places where people like this kid go missing and just help out in anyway that i could.. at the end of the day a friend or friends should've been with him after he got kicked out.. I've had friends that wanted to go blow for blow with me because they were so drunk and didn't want me driving their car or take them home.. they may have been pissed at me on nights like those but at the end of the day i got to see them breath another day because i made sure they were safe.. i pray your cousin is ok my dude and God Bless 🙏
This should not EVER happen. The bar is responsible just as if over-serving and someone dies from a DUI accident.

My PRAYERS for him and his family.🙏🙏🙏🙏🙏🙏🙏🙏🙏🙏
I have been looking on Google Maps of his exact route that he took that night on Friday night. I have been trying to see if there are more cameras anymore. This young man has to be somewhere. I am sending prayers to the whole family. I have been following 100%.
Prayers coming to the family and friends 🙏 hope they find him safe ❤😢😅
My prayers are with the young man and his family.
My prayer is that he is not in the river.
They're Looking...
Praying, they should check the Homeless camps
They did. 2 different ones saw him, but he kept moving...
Praying for the family..so heartbreaking ive been following since ive heard about it
I'm afraid he sustained a head injury after the fall seen on one of the videos. Surely all the hospitals have been checked by now, tho.
Prayers for Riley to be found & for all his family & friends.
Yes. Probably a concussion & between the drinks, drug & that....not a good outcome.
At all.
News I saw had him sitting on the ground a moment, gathering himself before getting up.

They aren't friends if they let him leave by himself. Even though you are in the United States you're not safe especially if you're in a different state that you don't know. Don't leave your friends alone EVER. !!!!
@@sonneversets3530 Yeah, I thought I'd heard of that in some places. That's a great way to do it. Relying on a drunk person's judgement isn't the way most of the time.
He looks so intoxicated and helpless. He must’ve eventually gotten tired and passed out somewhere. Who knows what was in his system. His fraternity friends know a lot more than what they are sharing. If it had been my friend who didn’t arrive back at the hotel. I would have gotten together with the others and went looking. Why didn’t they go looking for him? Why did they take so long to call the police. Poor kid I pray he’s found safe. 🙏
Bars should have some kind of accountability. 🙏
The Bar is 100 percent responsible ! HOLD THEM ACCOUNTABLE!
The bar should have called him an Uber. I can’t imagine the owner of that bar would be too happy knowing that this happened
Bars are not responsible for rides for adults. But they should have said to his crew, "Hey, anyone want to get your friend a taxi?"
@@FalconTypo3 Already told you they are responsible.
At least in many areas of the country.
They’ll sue..as they should.
Luke Bryant has a vid about how bad he feels....etc.
I’m sure he smells trouble brewing for his bar.
He’s doing all he can to help. As he should.
He knows what it’s like to lose beloved family members.
@@sonneversets3530 Already told you he's an adult who made a decision to drink too much, and the bar cut him off and escorted him off the premises. They served him a drink and gave him water after that. Tragic he made poor decisions and his friends weren't there for him, but he had a phone.
@@FalconTypo3 And I told you where I worked in Reno, the establishment was responsible for overserving.
And we all had to be certified to serve. Renewal every other year.
IDK what Nashville’s laws are. I bartended & served in 3 states. All warned of over serving b/c of lawsuits. NV was definitely the most stringent, though.
No one makes good decisions when under the influence, which is why it’s stressed not to over serve.
He had to have been slipped a roofie, or something. Way too out of it for just 1 drink, watered down well, after.
Makes no sense but to have been drugged.
Just a real shame.
My heart is breaking for this family. I can tell just from his photo that Riley is a very nice and sweet kid. I’m hoping and praying for a miracle here and that Riley will be found alive. He looks so vulnerable in the videos. I don’t understand why someone didn’t help him. The bar could have called a cab, one of his friends could have gone with him. This didn’t have to happen, and it makes me angry!
Leave no stone unturned.
Sick and disgusted of these bars actions! Call for a welfare check from police. This young man has either alcohol poisoning or was slipped something. Why don’t bars call? I’ll tell you why because their practice of over-serving customers would be questioned. These establishments need to change their practices.
Good grief; bars can only cut off adults when they SEE it happening-- not monitor where they were before they entered. The only person RESPONSIBLE is the person who drank, or if an a-hole slipped him a roofie. Either way, have a plan if going to a bar.
@@FalconTypo3 All bars need to have a strict plan for dealing w/questionable ppl before they’re served a second drink.
Or even a first, if more obvious. And if not a beer, water it down.
Save everyone’ some big time grief.
@@FalconTypo3 TABC investigating. You are wrong. The bar refused to let his friend leave with him. They kick people out so they are not investigated. What if this was your family? Have some compassion. Call the police. Let them assess the individual. Praying for this young man and his family. 🙏🙏
@@user-cv5kz4fp2b Exactly: TABC investigating. The bar cut him off; that is their job. The bar did not hold his buddies prisoner (that would be illegal). And asking a patron to leave is how the bar protects itself from people who do not mind their limits nor know how to behave while wasted. It is terribly sad he went missing, and perhaps there is drugs involved or foul play-- but blaming the bar is without merit. Do NOT drink in excess, especially without having transportation in place beforehand. Have an Uber ready, call a taxi, hire a DD, or go with a trusted buddy. It's called drinking too much, and bars can only gauge the after, not the before.
@@sonneversets3530 No, all bars have to do is post that they reserve the right to refuse service. When they see someone too wasted, they are allowed to cut them off and/or ask them to leave.
🙏🙏🙏🙏
He should have not been over served and definitely not made to leave alone. I would sue the heck out of that bar..
I’m sure they will.
Luke is fully cooperating, as he should.
He knows the heartache of personal family loss.
As owner, he is responsible for employees not taking proper measures to assure patrons are not over served, & safe.
You can bet a whole new strict set of rules will be laid in Stone there. Probably at least some, that were ignored."
And maybe more good quality cameras installed.
They’re w/the police now. Not made public while the investigation is ongoing. No staff talking either.

I really do wish these reporter's wauld think about the questions they ask. They are extremely insensitive sometimes and ask stupid stuff. Reporter's need to learn their craft and that includes a lot of studying
😂
Long lost art.
This is all just very strange.
🙏🏻🙏🏻🙏🏻
I hope the police are checking every dumpster in the area. I used to live in a large city in the midtown, right off the "strip" with loads of bars, pedestrians, intoxicated, etc. The dumpster behind my block of apts was frequented by not only the dumpster divers but those who needed to pee, or hop in and take a nap, or change clothes. He clearly had too much to drink and could have passed out or died in one. And it's true, a tall, thin body doesn't absorb alcohol the same as a larger person.
💔 🙏
Friends are friends until they aren’t friends anymore. Sad
In the footage it seems he was more than just drunk
Another example of young people leaving a friend ALONE in a bar situation!!!
This usually happens to girls & they wind up missing and worse.
He’s told to leave the bar, he does. He’s waiting outside by the doors for his friends to settle up & leave behind him.
The bouncer tells him to leave further! That he can’t stand there.
Who knows if he said he was waiting for his friends? IDK
But it seems if he wasn’t told he also had to leave the area he was standing/waiting, he’d be here now.
*_NEVER LEAVE YOUR FRIENDS ALONE, ESPECIALLY WHEN DRUNK, ANYTIME, ANYWHERE!!!!_*
*NEVER LEAVE A FEMALE FRIEND ALONE W/SOMEONE SHE JUST MET AT ANY BAR!!!! NEVER **_EVER_** LET HER LEAVE W/HIM!!!* And DON’T _YOU_ LEAVE HER ALONE, SO _YOU_ CAN LEAVE w/some guy _YOU just met!!!_ *If you 2 came together, you LEAVE TOGETHER!!!*
I don’t care if you have to have a tug of war w/the guy who wants to take her elsewhere. Grab her & make sure she comes with YOU!!! Let her be mad tomorrow. Who cares?! She’s alive!!!!
This should be an agreement between friends & the group, PRIOR to heading out. *No one is left behind!!!*
It’s so much worse if a group has gone out together & 1 of them is left alone!!! Just sooo dangerous today!!! Especially when drunk, or on drugs!!! They’re not in their right mind! Judgement is off, perception is off, they can’t even see straight!
Someone gets kicked out... *SOMEONE **_GO W/THEM!!!_*
*You’re NO FRIEND, IF YOU LEAVE YOUR ‘FRIEND’ TO FEND FOR THEMSELVES!!!*
This is _sickening!_ I pray he is found very soon & his family is comforted & carried by Jesus.🙏
@@camlacasse3760 Unable to reply.
Not exactly how it went tho.
