Beautiful table. I love how the grain pops when you put down the Rubio Monocoat.
I love the legs that perfectly match the overall style
Gorgeous table. Much less messy than a final deep pour epoxy. I like this option.

You can rent all that equipment in home depot.
Loved the way you explained each step. Wish i can also make one on my own . Unfortunately in India we can't go and hire all the required equipment. Without them it's not possible 😓.

Thx for the support
@@diywithgreg can I use same epoxy as my polishing and final coatings???
I'm going to try my first resin table soon so this video is going in my watch later for future reference. I always see makers fill in all missing resin in the natural inclusions but I actually quite like those little imperfections!
But do you want little dirt traps on your super expensive table? I agree though I like the look.
@@rockydubois1052 I hadn't thought that far ahead!!!

Masterpiece👍👍❤️❤️
Just one word for it, 'Beautiful'!
A beautiful slab of wood, love the table!
Parabéns, lindo trabalho
No parabens were used in this video. 😊
Great project - I really like the style! Been thinking about building myself a convertible dining / board gaming table but find myself still unsure about the direction I want to go with the design. A combination of wood and dark coloured epoxy resin might just be the way to go!
Superb workmanship, looks fantastic
A beautiful piece of art by a genius.💕👍💕🙏
Beautiful 👍❤️
Absolutely beautiful, well done.
Just watched 2 ads to say this table looks gorgeous
Nice table! I really enjoy the process of making epoxy tables.
Awesome brother!

Baja Baja mooi real mirror finish. Thanks for the inspiration
Sharlto Copley, you are also a great carpenter.

Hi Andy, thanks so much, all i want to do is to help others 🙏🏻
Absolutely stunning!
Truly professional and stunning finish! Great work and thanks for the instructional step by step guide!
Absolutely beautiful.
Love this table❤️ I'd order a custom built like this from you, pity you're not in Australia. Subscribed so I can watch more of your videos.
Thanks for the support 🙏🏻
Think we will build it and ship it for cheaper then what you can buy it for in Aus. 😂
Materials in South Africa are not that expensive for international clients.
@@diywithgreg good to know, I have joined your FB page so I can send a DM with measurements for quote.🤗
@@diywithgreg sir can you please answer me, what the brand name of that epoxy you used? and how much litres this table required? and finally what are the dimensions of this table?
Crying Out For A Second Mid Island Oak Wood To Break Up The Other Wood Used : -
To Add, Myself In Preference, Maybe A Slate Piece, Followed With A Corner Tap And Oval Bowl.
Now That is Indeed, An Extended Idea.
The Black Flowing Colour Of The River, Indeed Complements and, Completes The Table :
I Myself Would Have Chosen, A Clear Varnish For The Wood, To keep The Balance Thereof :
Overal, As Is As Shown With The Designed Basd Leg Design, Excellent !!
I'm sure you could ask for one to be shipped to you it would probly still be cheaper go pay the build and shipping cost in cougar rand than to buy a custom table in Australia for the Aussie dollar....though out in oz you can get some nice slabs of really nice wide slabs of redwood trees I remember trees being so big the roots were almost as tall as a ten year old child and trunks so wide even three adults standing around the tree would struggle to wrap their arms around them holding the hand of the person next to them so there would be some nice slabs of wood for making such projects from
Deluxe spectacular
Amazingly beautiful...love it so much.
What a beautiful looking table! I will be definitely following your tutorial when I make mine! Out of curiosity though, how strong is the bond between the pieces? Can it handle a lot of weight? Especially in the resin centre?
Thanks for the kind words, yes its very strong
Great job!! I have a question. What kind of wood did you use on this project? Looks awesome when you apply the oil.
Thanks for the kind words and support.
The wood is locally sourced from South Africa and called Matumi.
Gorgeous beyond words.
absolutely stunning!!!!!
Belo trabalho.
Poderia traduzir com legenda para português Brazil?
Greg the table looks perfect I am starting mine this week. I have a question about the epoxy polishing. I tried to do this on a clear epoxy flood coat and could never get it glass clear even going up to 10000 grit wet sanding and polishing. Are there any recommendations for compounds I can use? Also can you see any small scratches in the colored epoxy you poured? I find this to be the hardest part to complete. I also noticed you went around the epoxy with the Rubio coat, any reason? I have seen everyone else go over the epoxy and wipe it off, I am assuming since the epoxy is not porous it will not absorb so it is just wasted material. Any help is appreciated! Keep up the great work!
G3 cutting paste or diamond finish cutting paste same stuff you use to mop a car with keep it moving don't stay in one spot to long or it will burn once cutting phase has been done time to wax polish first with a fine grit mop sponge at low rpm then go over it with sheep wool mop at low rpm that should give the best result
@@jonelliott4985 thanks for the recommendation I'll give it a try.
It's more or less the same process used to finish up a car after it's been sprayed and lacquered just think of the epoxy as the clear coat on a car it's virtually the same stuff...
@@jonelliott4985 yeah my problem at first was only having an orbital sander with a pad I think it wasn't aggressive enough for the paste. But I have an older rotary I can use.
@@TheMoose240 you need to invest in a low rpm super mop basically looks like an angle grinder with a sponge adaptor it will have a trigger action rather than on off and you can adjust the rpm with a dial on the side having the proper tools for the job at hand is just as important as the materials you use if you don't use the right tools you won't get the Finish result that you want..✌🏾
Lot of work put into getting this table done ... Bravo !!!
Just inspired me to get me a hobby...love working with wood ...awsome job...Kapai.
The chemical that you used is two in one, and means you add hardener, resin and the color together.
Spectacular creation! I am curious what species of wood you used.
The wood is called matumi from South Africa.
Thanks for the support 🙏🏻
awesome handmade table....
What kind of wax did you use for it not to stick to the board? What kind of wax did you use for buffing? What is your “usual “ buffing wax? What’s the last shining buffing wax used with the Sheep buffer?
What polish do you apply on epoxy surface tp get shining?
Absolutely beautiful very well done
Yarra yessa...bro daas leka..
Beautiful finish on that river table bro
beautiful work, man. I got a question. how does it become strong if just the edges of the wood bonds with the epoxy? do you use some kind of reinforcements at the bottom?
Yes thats correct, we have support beams underneath the table to keep it stable.
@@diywithgreg thank you, man!
wonderful 😍, have you put reinforcements under the plateau?
Thank you, yes we did 😇
Absolutely Beautiful
First time viewing instructions were simple and good always this videos makes me want to open a full-time business but can't find resin. MORE PLEASE. Kim
Nice thanks man... i never thought we had people like you in SA... how's the market for this kind of work in sa
Thx for the support. 🙏🏻 there’s always a market, just need to believe..
Hi. How much would you charge to build a six seater epoxy table? I'm interested.

Usta selamlar epoksiyi parlatmak için ne kullandın?
Amazing, beautiful Table. 👍
I'll save for it, thank you for sharing.
Does epoxy have different types for table top, table deep pour , flooring epoxy ?
Yes there are many different epoxies for lots of different uses. Make sure you get the correct formula for what you are pouring. Epoxy is not cheap and you don't want to pour a project and find out it's not going to hold up for a long time. Call the manufacturer if you need help.
