This man isn't human! Like he literally lacks the fundamental qualifications to be a healthy individual to interact with. What he has done to her and is continuing to do to her is DEVESTATING and this lady deserves so much more, and I only hope she can come to terms with the person he really is, and understand that despite all of the time he took from her, he can't give her what she wants from him, and that she does have to move on. I think she will be all the happier for it.

For how old they are I agree. My husband and I waited for 8 years because we started dating at 16 though and were focusing on work and school separately until we could get married and move in together lol.

@@crystalvouse6435 Quiet frankly until the early 1960's, a majority of young couples the U.S, married early, before the age of twenty-five for males and twenty for females. As I write this, most countries complete courtship and marriage in their twenties or within five years of meeting.The exceptions are what are called "first world" countries like the US. Where "the pill" and abortion maded a delay in relationships, Where some men, like this guy, never grow-uo, forever juvenile in relationships, they want the fun without commitment. Just as this women ignored the many red flags from this guy. There are always exceptions to the rule, MD's/ other professionals waiting till after school to marry. The three year time rule of marriage was simply a guideline. Both people know within three years, if they want to spend their life in marriage with this person. If you have made it clear, you want marrage, and he keeps changing the subject or he says maybe sometime in the future, let him go, you are in a dead end relationship and wasting your time. There are many women with guys for years, and then broke up, only to find out he married somebody else within two years of the break-up with him. He valued the new woman more to make a commitment in marriage. Because she valued herself and refused to waste her time.
How are you going to go back to someone who canceled the venue 2 months in advance, strung you along, told you “yeah I’m totally on my way” while you’re thinking he’s late and you’re dressed up, family is there, and your sister almost dies because of him???? You’re crazy, I’m sorry I understand that you think you love this guy and maybe you do you can’t help who you love but you can help what you do about it, he’s not only hurt you but your family deeply, and he has proven he truly doesn’t love you, if he at the very least respected you he would have told you he wanted to call it off

This not only sad but what her fiancé did to her but it was so horribly cruel! He is in the doghouse from everyone including me. She is a very beautiful lady and there are a lot of men in this world out there that would die to be with her. Dr. Phil is so right in what he said, this fiancé of hers was "intellectually delayed" I believe that was what he was trying to say too, and I totally agree with him. I think he had a very cruel nature to him to and really it is a good thing she didn't marry him (I hope not even now!) because that marriage would have been a disaster for her, he would of been unreliable, flaky and immature with everything including children they could of had together. If I knew her, I would throw every good looking, successful, mature and faithful man who sees love marriage as sacred into her path. She deserves so much better than him. She needs a real sweet handsome built man like Bryce Wilson, the actor who played James in the movie, "Beauty Shop" a handsome man like him. 😊

I'm sorry I'm not a giving person and sometimes I'm downright unforgiving. when it comes to people being wrong but I believe that this man Roundup Way in over his head and he shouldn't be punished because he's poor unless he's doing drugs I don't believe he meant any harm to his best friend I truly believe that I think he was believing that he would get over his fright and he would come up with the money somehow he was just trying to make her happy and he failed I am sure that sent him into a complete meltdown

They were together for 10 years I don't think this woman would allow herself to be abused or lied to for 10 years and want to marry this man. I believe this man truly meant well and he really thought he could pull it through and get that money and at the same time having cold feet the entire time. I think he got himself caught up in something he didn't know how to get out of and he did know how to make right even though he wanted to terribly. And then had a complete meltdown when he failed
